Heritage Motor Inn Goulburn

We arrived late, but they made check-in so easy for us! Great location, private, easy to get to. We had a studio apartment with 5 people, but there was still privacy as the room was divided by the bathroom. I thought this was a great idea. Plenty of on-site parking provided. Fast communication. Bed and pillows were so comfy. Linen was clean. Liked that the doona was wrapped in bed sheets as doonas are not often cleaned. Tea, coffee, biscuits and milk provided.

Cutlery had to be washed by guests after use, which made me uncomfortable and not want to use them as I'd have to trust the last guests washed them after use.

For travelling through this accommodation was perfect for us. So convenient being able to park right outside your room making it quick and easy to get out what is needed for the night rather than dragging baggage from a carpark into a hotel into an elevator and into a room. We found the bed super comfy and the shower was hot and bathroom roomy, neat, clean and tidy. We also ate at the restaurant and I was super surprised and delighted at how fabulous the food was. I noticed some guests had the meals as take away to eat in their rooms too which is great to know if not up to sitting at a restaurant after travelling all day. We will definitely stay there again. The team were friendly and very helpful and made the stay a breeze.

This accomodation is fantastic, despite being old. The cleanliness of the bed, towels and kitchen stuff was great - clean and crisp. However, for the money spent - I stand by my rating of 9/10. In my opinion, the restaurant meals where absolutely delicios, generous size, good value and the service was great. The service at checking was also very pleasing. I would come back and I will highly recommend this accomodation.

The chairs and the couch are old and don't look clean - can be updated for a small cost. The restaurant too can be updated and brightened up to attract more business.

The large room was clean with a king bed that we had requested. The kitchen facilities were adequate, and it was easy to make a standard breakfast. The location is quiet because it is near to the centre of town. There was a lot of parking on site. We dined at the restaurant where the servings were tasty and generous and the environment clean and quiet.

It would be nice to install a wall heater in the bathroom because the extractor fan (which comes on with the light) creates cold air and the temperature that morning was 1C.

Great location on Sydney Road just near the freeway exit - very easy to get to. Reception staff member was very friendly and helpful upon arrival, enquired as to my day and my plans as he was checking me in which only took a few seconds. Plenty of parking on site. Room was huge with spacious bathroom and plenty of everything required - soap, shampoo, tea, coffee, biscuits and milk.

It was a room with an interconnecting door and I could clearly hear the conversation being had next door. The room faced Sydney Road so occasionally loud trucks could be heard, but this didn't disturb sleep at all. Just something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.

It was easy to find, proprietor was very helpful and friendly, he gladly accommodated a couple of requests for me. The room was dated but big and clean. There was a restaurant, staff friendly, service a bit slow but hard to find staff everywhere these days. The trick was to arrive early. The room had mini kitchen which is very handy.

The motel was too far out of town to walk to eateries etc. But fortunately had it's own restaurant. I found the bed a bit too firm and the pillow hard but I realize that's a personal preference.

The room was a good size. We thought it had a 2 seater couch per the listing on booking.com, but it didn't , but it wasn't an issue as we didn't get there until late and were leaving early the next morning. The bathroom was modern with a walk in shower. We had an upper level room and the stairs were quite steep so if you don't want to climb the stairs be more specific with your booking. Parking was available but as the hotel was fairly well booked out if you go there late you might not be so lucky. The room was clean and tidy. There was heating/air-conditioning and a small kitchenette for making tea/coffee or toast for breakfast.

The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom was quite large with a good shower and lots of hot water. It was very close to the main road into Goulburn and walking to McDonalds & a service station.

The WiFi was pretty bad and the walls/ceilings must be very thin as we were awoken at 6am by the people above us, being very noisy, sounded like they were all tumbling around the room.

The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and the linens on the bed were great. Had an amazing sleep and the staff were so nice. Even with a later check in, the staff made sure our stay was great. Loved it.

There wasn't a lot I didn't like, if not any at all. Only thing that would have been awesome if the restaurant in the motel was mentioned, as my partner and I would have loved to dine there for the night or grabbed some brekky for the morning.

An attractive characterful property that was still well configured with all modern amenities and facilities. The bed was wonderful - one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.

Our room overlooked the main road and was not very soundproof, so there was a noticable amount of road and traffic noise. It didn't bother us but might be an issue for a lighter sleeper or someone who wants a quiet room.
