Parkhaven Motel

Room was set out very well. There was plenty of room. It has a long bench on which to place things and to use for meal preparation. The fridge was a good size... small but certainly adequate. Shower was large and bathroom not cramped. Mattress was excellent and I had a good sleep. Nice good quality blue towels were appreciated instead of the awful thin white ones I have had at other motels. Air conditioner warmed room in no time and later on a panel heater turned on and kept room warm all night. Owner brought me a microwave to heat my tea. A lovely brown and white border collie greeted me when I entered the office.

There was nothing I did not like.

We had a room in the back corner away from the road so very quite at night. The Motel was under new management and the new owners had only been there 1 week but were very friendly. The room appeared to have been recently painted but no paint smell so good from that perspective. The room was warm when we arrived as the central heating was on. We would go back if travelling through again.

The bed was only a double so cosy

Although we did not stay for breakfast every other facility was of excellent quality along with a quiet room, good location and beautiful clean linen and bath towels. I would recommend this motel for anyone requiring a good value stay whilst staying in Goulburn for an extended time or maybe only transiting through. I did read previous reviews on the Parkhaven and I must say that my decision to stay here was based on a fair bit of those reviews.

The air conditioner was a little noisy but that's not that important as cleanliness and convenience of location and good pricing.

Although we didn't have a great start, the accommodation was perfect and just what we needed and I would stay there again. After a 10 Hour Drive the facility was clean and comfortable. I left my wallet and reading glasses behind when I left and received a call to advise that I left my wallet behind which I was appreciated.

No staff member available on arrival although we had advised that we would arrive between 9pm to 10pm via Booking.com. Advised by owner that I should have called to advise I was still coming. We waited over 30 minutes driving around to other facilities to see if we could obtain other accommodation for the night. Whilst driving around I continues to ring Parkhaven and finally owner picked up the phone and asked us to return. No the best start after a 10 hour drive.

The accommodation was very clean and roomy. The bed and linen really comfortable. Liked the water heater in the room as it made the room cosy. The bathroom and towels were spot on.

Just a minor issue. I found their drinking glasses too small. Only enough room for about 1/2 cup liguid.

We loved that it was very clean and comfortable. There were no stairs to climb (all rooms are ground level)-after a very tiring day this was a great relief.Parking right at our door. We really appreciated the lovely hot shower on our cold evening arrival.Thank you Parkhaven😊👍👍

Not a lot to report. I arrived late and slept well because it was quiet and comfortable. Great shower and easy parking. I left something in the fridge and the manger is going to keep it for me and I will collect it when I’m passing through. So I am appreciative of that.

This motel has all the essential elements for an overnight stay: particularly clean, comfortable bed, and good water pressure in the shower. It's opposite parkland and there's no traffic noise. Its position affords easy access back on to the highway. The manager was helpful and friendly. Funny that there's a toaster but no cutlery or plates, although this was of no concern to us.

Didn’t have breakfast. The location was perfect for me to get to church the next morning.

Nothing really. The ceiling fan was enough for my needs and the shower was very nice even though the shower curtain kept moving. For a one off occasion that wasn’t a bug deal.

The walls between the rooms were thin so I could hear my neighbours shower very loudly.
