The location is fantastic. We were able to walk into the shops, to the beach, and over to Salt Village. It's quiet and right on the river, so it's easy to access for a swim at the beach or the river. The view is amazing. It's so lovely to sit out on the balcony at breakfast. We have been coming here for years and will never get tired of the view.
We were in apartment 16, and it's starting to look a little worn. The carpets and blinds were stained and needed to be replaced. The bathroom, too, needs a refurbishment. Also, the couch has sunk and was very hard to get out of. The bed was comfortable, at least. But the whole apartment looks like it's long overdue for some care to be put into it.

Well located accommodation overlooking the Cudgen Creek. There is a boardwalk along the creek which is accessible from the complex. Easy walk to the main surf beach. The unit is well set up, modern and spacious with ample crockery etc. for self catering.
Every unit has a garage BUT you have to pay for a parking space in addition to your accommodation. There are numerous "visitor" parking spaces which appear to be used by other unit occupants for a second car. There is no adequate street parking so you have no choice but to pay for a parking space. At least we got to park in the garage belonging to our unit.

The overall cleanliness was not sufficient, the glass shower s were covered in soap scum, broken shelving in fridge, microwave sitting on uneven metal tray of some sort with electrical cord could have cut through, shutters in bedrooms broken, shelving in walk in robe broken and unusable, old blood stains on main quilt. Quality control of cleanliness very poor. Parking very hit and miss as a garage was $20/night ??? but couldn't fit car in it. I

The location is great. Walking distance to cafes ,restaurants and beach. 6km round trip walk to Salt and Peppers resorts. Views over the river from 2 bedroom unit. Unit is very spacious and comfortable. Heated Pool. Secure car parking.
Unit needed a thorough clean, not just a quick one between guests. Dust on window ledges, crumbs under couches and under furniture. Main shower needed a good scrub. Only able to watch free to air TV. Unable to login to Netflix on TV. A compendium in the unit would be good. Map of resort and where to locate things. How to work TV and video etc. Local places and eateries etc.

The apartment size is typical of older design ie very large and spacious. As per photos and as advertised. A great breeze all day kept us nice and comfy. Excellent views of river and bush close to an ocean and river beach. Lots of good inclusions like books and bean bag. Local coffee and Thai restaurants are good. Nearby Salt village has a huge choice also. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
Cost of parking is exorbitant and should be included in the overall cost. Resort main gate is permanently broken and insecure. It should be made clear that there is no aircon even though most days of the year it is not required. The small print advice is insufficient.

it was just fantastic the open plan living area was tremendous. a huge kitchen with ample cook ware glasses ect. a fantastic location right on the water with a walk in ramp are to access the water right out the front of the property. The building was well built, great condition, the appliances were top quality. overall it was a really great place to relax and have a break. It was so quiet you just kick back and relax. cook food and drink wine! ☺️

Location was perfect and had a great view of the river. We also had plenty of room for sleeping and lounging. The bathrooms were also roomy and it had good laundry facilities including iron and ironing board. Pool area was lovely with quick access to the boardwalk into town out the front. About a 10 min walk. The reception staff were we picked up the keys were friendly and efficient. Although dated I would stay again.
Needs an update and the kitchen utensils need to be gone through. Lots of broken items and things such as tongs missing. Lamps were broken and did not have bulbs in them or were unplugged and I would of had to get behind the bed to replug them in (I didn’t bother). Garage very small so they should warn travellers with large cars or 4x4 that they may not easily fit into the garage. I climbed over to the off drivers side door to get out. The garage cost is an extra $20 night. This should just be part of the accommodation cost not an extra. Quite ridiculous.

Unit on ground floor was perfect. Fully equipped & comfortable. The furnishings were very nice.
With regards to the cleanliness: Dirty towel left behind door in ensuite. Dirty tiles in ensuite shower. Empty toilet roll left on floor in ensuite as well as toilet lid left up in both bathrooms. No spare toilet paper in second bathroom with very little on roll. No bin liner in kitchen bin. The lid of the kitchen bin was dirty & had not been cleaned. The dishwasher hadn’t been fully unpacked. Two bedroom pillows were left on furniture in kitchen area. Second bedroom one pillow didn’t have a pillow case. Bed hadn’t been made properly with mattress protector all squashed up. If I owned this unit & I was paying to have it serviced I wouldn’t be happy with the job being done.

The location was excellent, walk to CBD and there was a boardwalk around to the start of the CBD. The place we stayed in was private and it is set in lovely surrounds. Also as a family of 4, the place was nice & roomy. Loved that it had a pod machine.
We have a regular sedan car and struggled to fit in the garage. In fact it looked like others did too because some parked in car spaces outside where they could fit. Unfortunately this made it harder to get in and out of the garage. Also, the place was generally clean i.e bathrooms, floors, and beds. However, there were some things that it was obvious had not been cleaned in a while I.e dusty bedside shelves and around the bin and around the edges of the dishwasher when you open it up. I spent an hour wiping these items and other such as fridge handles, switches and other handles. We expected that with Covid these should have been cleaned. The other issue was that many of the lights didn't work or were blown.
