Yes it was comfortable and it was good to come into to rest and all that. And it was good to have a lounge like sitting down for read when I did not want lay down. And it was good to have little table of I wanted bring food in. And air conditioner was great especially when it was hot weather...

I was confused about about door coming into the motel at first, but when I got help I did work it out. And one other thing I was wondering it you's have personal laundry to was dirty clothes or not. But far from that i did not had any issues the hotel room I stay in...

If and when there are little repairs they should be attended to and not neglected as the job can become major. For example my toilet seat was cracked at the back (the plastic part) but I was scared to sit on it every time thinking it will totally rip off although I am not a big made person.

The location was excellent, there was covered parking available and the room was much cleaner, more comfortable and modern than other reviews had led is to expect. It was a good value stay. We felt that other very negative reviews were probably thinking it would be a super plush expensive hotel standard which is not realistic for a Motor Home. The kitchenette was great and the bed was very comfortable.

It can be tricky to get good accomodation when travelling with four children. The family suite was exceptional! Loft room with four single beds for the kids and the downstairs all for the adults. Add a newly renovated bathroom in and you have the perfect family room.

The room was perfect for me and my family, if you are travelling with small kids though, the stairs may be a bit of a risk.

answering the phone to ask question would be a good idea. Also when first looked up prices on phone app it was it was cheaper than when I actualy booked it 1/2 hour later, and yet when we got there there, was rooms available $30 cheaper. NOT FAIR!!!

Room was very clean, location was excellent for our reason to be in Port. Showers were hot. Hole in the wire screen on the window was a bit off putting. Needs to be replaced and window coverings need to be replaced. The last two things let it down a little. Parking can be a problem. First in get a car park but if you use the car then you won’t get back in and then have to park on the street.

The carpet on the balcony was very shabby and the view onto the unit garden next to mine was very messy. Also, the pipes made a horrible noise after flushing the toilet at times.

Booked this for my parents last minute when they got stuck in a storm in Port Macquarie, paid over the phone and the staff were lovely and prompt. I wasn’t expecting much for such a low price but my parents were thrilled that the beds were comfortable, shower pressure was strong and hot (perfect after being caught in a storm), and although not a hotel, facilities were comfortable and convenient…. so much so that if they’re up there again for work they’ll book Excelsior by choice. A big thanks to the team for making my parents comfortable for the night!

The property is fine for its age. It presents in line with the price. Bathroom was dated but the bed was comfy, the room was clean except for banana strand dried on the bedside. For the price I was expecting a tired run down motel. Yes tired, but clean and tidy. It was a fair and honest price. I would have no problem staying there again. A three minute stroll to the Bandwagon Cafe for a beautiful breakfast.

Dried banana strand on the bedside table. Rude guests using two parks when there wasn’t enough parks as it was. I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like walking as it’s a short walk into town but there are taxis.

The room was lovely. Nice and clean with great amenities. Perfect location as it is close to shops and to the beach. It was a lovely stay and the staff were very welcoming and accomodating.

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were very hard. We only had two butter knives, two dessert spoons and one teaspoon with no forks. And there is limited parking which made it hard to park close to the room.
