OCEAN BREEZE MOTEL

Welcomed by the staff member (I forgot her name!) with amazing service, positive conversation. The room was small but it was all I needed for a quick overnight stay. Wifi, free parking, aircon.

This is all personal preference!! I was in the room right next to reception, and felt a little shy while in the room (e.g. using the bathroom, having the TV on etc) as it was right where reception and common area was. Also I drove for about 10 hrs and had an awful headache and the cleaning smell was strong and hurting my head however if I wasn’t ill, the smell wouldn’t have bothered me.

Great location, easy to find, quiet, staff were lovely and welcoming. Room was cute, clean and had a nice little balcony facing the water over the hill. I stayed here with my 2 year old on our way down to Sydney and on our return to Brisbane and would definitely stay again. Julie was so accomodating and checked in on us when we were driving back at night letting us know where the key had been left for us. Will be back.

I got lucky and got a car park out the back off the street but if those 2 car parks are taken, you have to park on the street. as a solo mum with a toddler, I wasn’t comfortable parking out the front but this was a non issue for us this trip.

We stayed in room 2. It was perfect exactly like the pictures. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable. Facilities were good had everything we needed. Lounge was comfy and outdoor area was quiet. Not to far from main part of town but far enough you don't have to deal with the noise pollution.

Sticky table. Was actually a funny thing because everything stuck to it. Not a dirty thing just the resin reacting with the chemical they use to clean. Nothing a table cloth wouldn't fix. Or sand it back and re stain.

A quiet, clean and modest room in good location close to beaches. The room size was great and had a small kitchenette. While the kitchen is not new (and I understand will soon be updated), everything is functional and works fine. I actually loved the fact that it had an old time feel but with nice modern touches. Bed exceptionally comfy and nice sea inspired decor. Again, the bathroom is not modern but hey, the shower was excellent with plenty of pressure. Overall I thought it was really nice. Plus a very comfortable lounge with lamps and coffee table. So basically for the price I think this place is excellent. Debbie at reception was very communicative and helpful throughout the stay. It's a Yes from me!

As it is a small motel I had to park my car out the front. Most other rooms did have space for parking. This actually wasn't a big deal as there is plenty of parking and my room was nearest to the front of the premises.

I left my electric tooth brush behind and after I left The Motel the Lady in The Reception called me so that I could retrieve my brush. Thank You to All of The Staff. I also liked The Gardens with The Water Fountains someone obviously takes pride in their work.

I thought that as A Health & Safety Issue The Outdoor metal Seats on the balcony were way passed their use bye date. They are extremely rusted from The Salt Air. I did not use them but I felt that they were an accident waiting to happen.

Great location, clean comfortable air conditioned room, easy access to Flynn’s beach and PM town centre, nice coffee from the coffee machine, cold filtered water.

Very noisy in the morning, no respect from staff or other guest to keep the noise down in the common area, which sounded like they were right at our door! Staff entered our room and put a magazine on our bed (area magazine) this didn’t sit right with us, we would have preferred it left at our door or given to us personally when we returned from being out. Very small bathroom, albeit clean and functional.

The property exceeded our expectations! With two separate bedrooms in the suite (one for kids with two single beds and another one for us with a double bed) and a lounge+kitchen room! All the rooms are freshly painted in blue and white colours, the furniture is brand new and in great condition! There's a lounge zone at the reception which resembles Bali hotels - couches, plants, fountains and complimentary tea/coffee!!!

Parking a bit tight but for vehicles up to similar size of X5 works fine. Bathroom and kitchen require renovation but overall in good condition, and with other rooms being so nice and beautiful you don't notice that bathroom and kitchen require renovation))

Good location close to beach and town. Lovely friendly welcome from Julie at reception. Quiet at night ( I had end unit) and comfy bed. Nice little private sitting out area. Very spacious unit.

Carparking was a bit 'tight' (Unless you had a small car) Cars parked at an angle so jutted out a bit. However, bonus was cars were under cover and right outside door. Place was a bit tired (although very clean) but I understand that they are in the process of updating the kitchens and bathrooms.

I loved the big TV, the comfortable Bed with beautiful linen, the Microwave, the cleanliness, the outside small area for a cuppa in the morning in the sunshine, a toaster, and extremely friendly owners. Whilst it is small, it is such e. Ellen’s value. We have stayed in many on our trip and this was really great. Highly recommend.

Would have liked a hair dryer but so understand people take them - and all I had to do was ask and it was there.

I was welcomed like a valued friend. I like that the motel is a little away from the main street, and walking distance from a patrolled beach. On arrival you walk through a really lovely communal area, with couches and a complementary coffee machine. I was in the single room and, while not spacious, it was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Having a microwave in the room was also a bonus.

There was a bit of noise in the evening from upstairs.
