Town Beach Beachcomber Resort

The size of the apartments were amazing. We came for a swimming carnival and the location was super convenient for us. The apartment also came fully stocked with everything you could need in relation to kitchen items (cutlery, kettle, plates, cooking equipment etc). We booked for two nights and required an additional third night. We called the after hours number and the staff member was more than happy to look into the availability and call me back promptly.

The shower floor needs to be changed so that water doesn't run out into the bathroom and flood the floor. There was only one satchel of dishwashing liquid and washing powder and for the length of our stay it would have been good to have a few more satchels available. The same with the towels replacing the towels would have been great as the one we had became used to soak up excess water in the bathroom floor. Only small things and it was still a great stay but also some things that could be improved.

Lovely property. Close to the beach and scenic walks. Spacious apartment. Well equipped and very clean. Check in/check out process was easy. Jackie was friendly and pleasant to deal with.

When we entered the apartment, number 8, it smelt very strongly of bleach. Even after trying to air the apartment, the smell was prevalent the next day. We are sensitive to the fumes of bleach and found this quite uncomfortable. Another thing we found unusual is that the toilet cistern is located right against a wall with barely any room to move if you know what I mean. The toilet paper holder is squished in too. Was a challenging experience. Shower over the bath tub was tricky to get out of without fear of slipping on the narrow step. Thank you.

The accommodation was immaculately clean, the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. It had everything we needed including modern appliances and a lovely view from the balcony. We wish we could of stayed longer but will definitely rebook again in the future.

We couldn't fault the accommodation although for a family of four the hot water ran out after my two children showered, leaving my husband and I to have cold showers. We come from a property with only tank water so know how to have quick showers yet it still ran out. A bigger hot water system would boost my rating from a 9 to 10.

Fantastic location right across from the beach and within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants you will need. Clean facilities with lovely staff. Apartments are large and comfortable.

There was only the one bathroom which was a surprise (no bathroom in the ensuite) but it had a spa bath so we were ok with that. The tv wasn’t a smart tv so we couldn’t log in to our Netflix or Amazon accounts. The casting function on the tv wouldn’t work so a smarter tv would be better.

The unit was clean with great facilities. I didn't use the pool or BBQ but if I'd been there longer, I would have. Weather was not great but that is not Beachcombers fault. Comfortable and relaxing. If I go back to Port I certainly would stay here.

No salt and pepper but that now seems to be the norm as other places we have stayed have not had them either. A suggestion is to install 1 or 2 power points with USB'S in them as they are now a vital part of most families to charge things.

Centrally located, clean, 2 bedroom apartment had plenty of space and was excellent value for money. Friendly staff to greet us and great communication re check in times and making keys available should we arrive late.

Number of flights of stairs from parking area to our room for my elderly mother-in law, she was also concerned re the possible slippery nature of the tiles getting in and out of the shower, ? need for non-slip shower mat in the bath to stand on when having a shower. We were unable to change the tv channel, not sure why, ? user error.

Apartment was spacious and well stocked with amenities and comfort. Location was excellent - easy walking distance to all you need in Port Macquarie. And check-in was very smooth and easy - collecting the key from a lock box, and check out equally smooth and easy.

Mattress could be updated, but otherwise everything was excellent value for money and no troubles with anything inside or outside the room - great night in Port!

The 2-bdr apartment we had was very comfortable and spacious. There were two terraces - one off the lounge area and one off the bedroom. Fridge with freezer. Location very good. The managers - Jackie and Andy - were so welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We had a great 2-night stay and would definitely stay there again.

The room was very spacious, we enjoyed the open plan living area and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the location of the property to where we needed to go. Great underground locked parking. Pool was lovely, and the wading pool was fantastic for our 2.5year old. We will be back again

Dishwasher didn’t work very well, noticed some mould on the shower curtain. We ran out of toilet paper late one night, only supplied with one extra roll. Shame there wasn’t easier access to the parking for taking luggage to rooms.

The room we stayed in had ocean views it was very well set out with a nice decor as well and it felt like home. The master Bed was perfect as was one of the beds in the 2nd room. The Pool and spa were fantastic and the sectioned-off part for little kids was brilliant as were the 2 BBQ areas. Jackie that greeted us at reception was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome

No lifts and 3 levels. if you have elderly or mobility impaired People just ask for a lower unit when booking. you won't be disappointed
