Narimba Motel

Nice room, clean bed. They provided a toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge and cutlery and plates which we used. We were very grateful for the extra blanket as it went down to 4C at night. The motel is close to the car ferry which is fun to watch and there was a beautiful sunset from the jetty. Make sure to walk around and enjoy the neighbourhood.

It is winter in Australia and the building is not insulated. There was a draft coming in through the connecting door and under the bathroom door. Please provide an electric heater during the winter as it is was uncomfortably cold in the room. I did not realize how cold it was going to be until around 2am in the morning and did not want to disturb management as this is a family owned business.

The one-night stay was comfortable. The room and facilities were clean and would have no hesitation in recommending the stay, albeit I had no face-to-face communication with any of the motel staff.

I was a little uncomfortable not seeing or meeting the Motel owner or staff. I felt a bit like an intruder, albeit, my reservation was duly confirmed. I was not greeted nor was any Motel staff member available or seen during my stay. (I must admit I am used to being met with a welcome and departure by Motel Staff. I found this a little unsettling!

Room was basic but it was clean and had all you needed for a comfortable overnight stay plus a deck with an outdoor setting. Great to be able to have my labrador inside with me. Parking at your doorstep, quiet and safe. Location was great - easy to access from the highway and steps away from the ferry and a huge dog park. Port Macquarie itself is gorgeous, especially the beaches (Nobbys Beach is perfect for dogs - as recommended by the managers).

I would definitely stay again as an overnighter but not more than that.

Lisa is a very friendly and helpful manager, the room was clean, bed very comfortable, had table & chairs, complimentary snacks, plunger coffee, location near the water, ferry, jetty and area for the dogs was great. Very quiet location. The Jacaranda trees are beautiful out the front. This is a true dog-friendly motel, which us pet owners really appreciate, thank you Lisa.

The bathroom we had was compact, and with a small basin it does make washing up a little harder, but not impossible (& I have seen others say that Lisa did washing up for them) however the shower was so good I would stay in the same room again. Minor maintenance required, however with the motel constantly booked out and trades hard to get, and the past few years with flooding, fires and Covid, this is completely understandable.

Very welcoming, Wayne and Lisa were very professional and friendly. Client care was exceptional. The premises were immaculate and tidy. I would recommend Narimba Motel if you are looking for comfort and a quiet location that is a little out of the hub of central Port Macquarie approximately 10 minute drive.

There is no negative feedback. Narimba ticks all the boxes for a great stay. The rooms were small, but still very acceptable. I would have liked to have stayed longer but I needed to return to the Gold Coast for work reasons.

Nice own access to the room with a tea corner. Parking infront of the room. The room was a bit small, indeed had absolutely everything you need as refrigerator, A/C, TV, teapot, hairdryer etc. Good for a stopover if you're going from Sydney to Brisbane and vice versa. Some complementory snacks in the room. Self check-in available with an access-code. Interesting to observe some rainbow lorikeets on the trees around.

No sidetables near the bed, so you can put your devices. Maybe it was a bit overpriced in comparison what you can get elsewhere.

This is a lovely little motel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Port Macquarie. The room was excellent value for money, clean and comfortable. It was a 3 or 4 minute drive to the local hotel for a great meal in a family friendly restaurant. We only stayed the night as a stopover to elsewhere (which is mostly what we do in Port Mac) so not near the beaches and busy town centre. We would DEFINITELY stay here again if we were travelling.

Not being very tech savvy, we couldn't access all the TV offerings.

We arrived on a public holiday so there was no one at reception, but we had received a text prior, with clear enough instructions about how to self check in, which was a very quick process. Loved the sweet little Cavalier who came up to say hi the next morning!! The room was very neat, tidy and clean.

The room was much smaller than what it looked like in pictures online with not much space to move in but sufficient for a night's stay!

Freindly greeting, room was clean & comfortable, & in a lovely quiet location. The parking was easy with all rooms on ground level. Complimentary snacks & plunger coffee were welcome surprises, as was large TV screen & decent shower. Lovely fresh clean linen, air con worked quickly & quietly.

A few broken/loose tiles on bathroom floor & a bit awkward using the tiny bathroom basin for rinsing/filling cups etc. No kitchen sink. Spare blanket in cupboard smelt a little doggy.

Single level accommodation, with parking in front of unit. Our own table and chairs on outside balcony area. Our room was comfortable, clean, bright and fresh. The decor was delightful. Attention to detail was wonderful: 2 bedside tables, with drawers; plenty of cutlery & crockery; bathroom was small, but towels etc were fresh & clean. Our room was quiet, in picturesque surrounds, easy to take a walk. While it was not in the centre of town, it was a very short drive to get to the main centre.

That we were only staying 1 night!
