Mantra Parramatta

A few things - Bed on the Apartment side was so comfortable as it was one bed and was a nice firmness. (I find a lot of hotels go for ultra soft and they are so uncomfortable). This bed was great. Nice clean room. I wanted to also say that your staff at this hotel were fantastic. I let the front desk know the next morning of my internet issue and they had me moved to a different side of the hotel to fix the issue. This room I was moved to was lovely with a lovely note and amenities left from the front desk. Great touch. I hope I get everyone's name right here as I wanted to make sure I wrote them all down because of the wonderful impression left. I wanted to call out to the hotel GM regarding some feedback - Andrew your Front Office Manager, Prajwol Front Office AM, Sai - C&E Manager and Shivani and Toshiba - front reception - (I am so sorry if I have miss spelled the names here or I got wrong- One lady with long dark hair and other with short hair and glasses.) All of these people I interacted with on multiple occasions over my 4 day stay were so wonderful each time speaking with them. So helpful and accommodating in all aspects. Great management and reception team. I hope they are recognised for the amazing attitudes and hospitality given. :)

Bed on the hotel side - 2 single beds together I don't really like as you end up sleeping in the crack of the bed. Firmness was ok. Rooms looking a bit weathered and could do with a bit of an update. I had issues with the internet on the hotel side so I was moved to an apartment side where the internet was much better.

Good location close to shopping/restaurants/transport. All pre-arrival room requests were accommodated (beds split to single share, rooms close together). Parking was discounted with Accor membership. Guest laundry facilities were easily accessible. Staff were friendly, efficient and professional on check in. Request for additional towels actioned quickly.

Some traffic and train noise from our 2nd floor, street facing room. No hot water on our last morning, reception unable to be contacted via phone and after my husband went down to reception to alert them and they said they would switch immediately to manual operation the problem was not resolved in the time frame given. No one to speak to re the issue on check out as early departure key return out and no staff at reception desk. Some updates required to building, lifts wee a little tricky.

Perfect location- only few mins walk to Parramatta station, Westfield, shops and bank. Great customer service- especially Andrew from Front desk. Andrew is so helpful and friendly, superb . Comfortable room- The room looks dated honestly, but I still like it because of comfy bed and spa bathtub. Parking- discounted parking for members, $20 for overnight parking is quite reasonable.

Charged $300 Deposit while check in - I suggest that hotel should charge $100 Deposit instead of $300. Many hotels do NOT charge their guests deposit and some of them charge $100 only.

Room was great, mostly clean (except we found a whole potato chip behind a curtain, which I admit, isn't a huge issue, but it speaks to a bigger problem about attention to detail when cleaning). Staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location is great, right in the heart of Parramatta. Close to food, shopping, public transport.

Bed and pillows weren't comfortable for us, the parking is quite compact and a little difficult to get into, even in a small-to-medium car like ours.

♤ Staff were really welcoming & friendly. ♤ Breakfast dinning/ music has the perfect setting / feels & wonderfully made. ♤ Would definitely recommend to families/ friends & book again in the near future.

♤ The size of the bedroom was a little too small but loved the comfy bed. ♤ The cooking pan on low heat was still too high that it burnt our dinner on the first night. ♤ Only the left side elevator from basement 1 would go to level 12 (right side would stop at level 9).

Clean and comfortable One Bedroom Apartment with kitchenette (Microwave and 2 hot plates but no oven) and very comfortable bed, pull down couch was also comfortable and convenient. Small balcony overlooking Parramatta and a view in the distance of the Sydney Harbour Bridge! Pool was cold but clean and nice, spa was lovely. Ask for a higher floor as it can be noisier lower over the weekend. Easy 5 minute walk to Westfield with 5 storeys of shopping and woolworths etc and heaps of take away food options close by as well as Restaurants - be aware the onsite Restaurant in CLOSED due to Covid. Easy, 5 minute walk to bus and train station, grab a train to Central and go anywhere in Sydney. Be sure to get your OPAL card loaded at the airport as it can be a bit tricky to find outlets to buy them later on and they don't seem to be available at the stations (weird!). Reception were lovely and greeted us each morning on our way in and out. Price was reasonable for a One Bedroom Apartment in Sydney. We were there for an event at Sydney Olympic Park - if you are too, grab a train from the station nearby to Lidcombe, then change train to Olympic Park - easy enough & plenty of trains, however an Uber is also super easy and costs around $21 - $35 depending on demand. Mantra Parramatta is very easily accessed by train from the airport, a short walk from the Parramatta Station....turn left as you exit into Valentine Ave and it sits across the road on the right on the corner of Parkes Street. We will definitely stay here again when we are back for events.

Others who stayed here while we were said the lower levels were noisy over the weekend. Ask for a higher floor. Restaurant and Bar was closed for Covid, although this seems quite strange seeing as we stayed in March 2022. Would have been nice to have a bar for a quiet drink at night.

The whole room was delightful . The bed was extremely comfortable. I really like having the little kitchenette. It was also very close to the shopping centre. The train station was also very close .There were also lots of food stores within easy walking distance.

The only thing I did not like was the noise of the electric cabinet adjoining my room which hummed into life every 30 mins and hummed for about 45 sec., it was a bit intrusive especially at night when everything was quiet . I had asked for a quiet room so I was a little disappointed.

I booked this hotel specifically as it has an on site restaurant; as a Kobe female traveller I did not want to be going out in the evening to eat. When I checked in I was told the restaurant was shut except for breakfast, this was quite upsetting as I do not know Parramatta at all and am not keen on takeaway food; your website needs to be updated.

Room position was great. The spa in the room was amazing. Bed was super comfy. Great nights sleep. Walking distance to where I needed to work and close to restaurants and shops. Ideal location. Secure underground parking. Second visit to Mantra Parramatta, will stay again for convenience :)

Toilet lid was left open, looked cleaned but had not been flushed (yellow). (Husband always says 'if it's yellow, let it mellow, but if it's brown, flush it down'). I prefer flushed either way. No toilet brush.

Friendly happy team at arrival had reccomdations when asked about the parramatta.area for both shopping and restraunts made us feel very welcome nothing was too much

The property is non smoking and respect that very much but standing outside near the entrance to smoke looks terrible it wasn't just us there was about 5 or 6 guests standing there a little embarresed at one point
