Edward Parry Motel and Apartments

Well appointed, self contained, 2-bedroom apt with spacious parking outside door. Is sited at back of motel so very little traffic noise. Short drive into CBD. Internal laundry with powder and dryer was welcomed. As were the biscuits. 2 TVs. Plenty of power outlets. Excellent communication and professional staff. Hot breakfast in room service was also good and on time. Plentiful quality white bath towels and face cloths. I like the individual soap tablets and shampoo etc. Highly recommended and would stay again. Easy online reservation. Good value for money.

In next renovation, maybe swap stand - up shower inside the spa bath for walk in glass shower? Will save water and is physically safer than stepping over low spa plastic wall. Wall connected hair dryer in bathroom is on the old side.

This motel is spotless. Was great to find a motel that services the room every day and not use an excuse as to why they don't. Lovely to come back after a long day to a perfectly serviced room. THANK YOU! Little to no street noise. Good size parking bays for larger vehicles. Nice to have in room fridge with a few nibbles to purchase if you get in late. Bottle of milk provided and not the terrible little long life capsules. Free arrival beverage was also a nice surprise after a long drive. 😉

Maybe check if your room has shower over bath as this was fine for us but may not suit older people.

We having been coming to Tamworth for many years and tried a lot of different places to stay and I have to say this will be where we will be staying from now on. We had a Very Friendly welcome on arrival with the offer of a complimentary drink, we have never had that before offered to us before and it was a lovely gesture. The room was a lot bigger than we expected and it was spotless, the bed was so comfortable and the linen was very clean. Air conditioner worked well keeping the room nice and warm.

Could not find anything wrong with the motel.

Michael was a friendly face on arrival and the complimentary beer went down a treat on a hot day! The motel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and had ample seating for eating and watching tv without having to sit on the bed. Wifi worked perfectly without glitches and the shower and spa bath had ample pressure and hot water making my stay very relaxing. The bed and pillows were quality and so comfortable. Everything worked perfectly.

I would have liked Netflix or Foxtel movies. TV is painful to watch

Firstly, this room smelt amazing! It reminded me of Mon Guerlain perfume. The fresh spiciness hits you as soon as you walk in the room, but it's not overpowering in any way. It's probably the best smelling room I've stayed in at a motel. The bed was very comfortable (about a medium firm) and the bathroom felt very modern and was equipped with a rather long spa bath. I was able to sit back in it and fully stretch my toes (I'm 164cm tall) which made for a very relaxing bath. The room was quiet with no traffic noise, and there is ample parking space outside, making it easy to move things in and out of the car. Overall we felt our impromptu stay was very good value for money.

Unfortunately the fridge was overcrowded with mini bar items which made it quite difficult to fit the stuff from our Esky into it (Juice, fruit, leftover containers etc). The tap for the shower was a bit oversensitive so getting the shower to the right temperature was a finnicky. The shower-bath did have a grab rail but no non-slip mat, which may be perilous for those who have trouble balancing or can't stand for long. There was a toaster but no knives to butter toast. The double room didn't have a microwave.

Michael & Lisa were lovely, very friendly, offer of complimentary drink on arrival, we were able to look at property before checking in, the 2 Bedroom Apartment we stayed in was impeccably clean, and quite (don't let the main road location put your off) very nicely decorated the bedding appeared to be new, very crisp and clean.

nothing really, if I had to pick, it would be having to drive to go somewhere for dinner, but Michael recommended several places, which were less than 5 min drive and great food

Michael and Lisa were so accommodating and went above and beyond to make us, our crew and littlest family addition very comfortable. Even though we were unsure of exactly how long we would need to stay, they held our room and remained flexible with our extra dates which was extremely helpful and much appreciated!! Our room was nice and spacious, exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfortable! Rooms are located away from the road traffic so we had no issues in getting a peaceful sleep and the guest laundry was very convenient for our extended stay A+

The bed was very comfortable, the service was excellent and the glass of wine in the evening was very welcome. Breakfast was hot and value for money while appearing right on time as I had an early appointment. I always stay at the Edward Parry Motel when I visit Tamworth as I am so pleased with the excellent customer service.

I wanted to settle my account, however the office did not open until 8am and I had an appointment on the other side of the city at this time and could not wait. This meant that the owner had to phone me and get my credit card details.

This is a great Motel. Located close to the city it is very quiet even though it is on the highway. The rooms are large and well appointed with a mini bar, toaster, electric jug, plates and cutlery. The beds are amazing, one of the most comfortable I have experienced in motels. They offer a free guest laundry and even supply the powder.

We had stayed before but new owners now and can say its even better! Very roomy with a bath, which I love!!! Very comfy bed, pillows, nice toiletries, fresh milk and good complimentary biscuits! Wine glasses and good size mugs! Stayed two nights and was surprised to have excellent clean for second night as we have found a lot of motels only do a half job or not at all but this clean didn't miss a trick! Motel full second night but rooms very soundproof and quiet! We will be back!
