Motel 359

Good, reliable place to crash. Beds are comfy and clean enough, TV's have hdmi ports and the fridge is very small. We always stay in the double rooms so others may be different. Simple breakfast layout with coffee, tea, cereal and toast. The brekky room is a good time if the other guests are feeling sociable. There's wheelchair access to the rooms every few metres. Plenty of places to park, ashtrays outside if you need them, washers and dryers available at certain times of day (just read the note on the door) and there's a vending machine with very reasonably priced cans of drink and snacks. Maccas and fuel are a few doors up.

I wouldn't actually change anything, it's a place that knows what it is.

Location and access to laundry facilities were convenient.

No heater or heat lamps in bathroom. As a traveller from North Queensland I did expect this would be standard, even for less expensive accommodation. The man on reception (perhaps owner) was somewhat gruff - I would not say he was rude but certainly not welcoming. Some of the reviews were far more glowing that what we experienced - one thought the inclusion of peaches at breakfast was quite special and so I was looking forward to fresh peaches but it was a bowl of tinned peaches to have with cereal!

Good value with breakfast and a reason I have chosen Motel 359, on other occasions. Room is not large but, was clean and comfortable. Suitable for my needs and had plenty of off-street parking. Staff were very accommodating and advised of possible rain that night and suggested that I would be able to park my motor bike under cover on the path outside my room. Close to the local hotel, Chinese restaurant, etc.

There is a suitcase stand but no hanging space/place.

The room was comfortable. Location was easy to get to. Not far to town centre to get dinner. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was perfect without going too far. Ample breakfast available if required. Great table and chairs to eat food and watch TV.

Air conditioner was very noisy and made strange noises each time it started up. Also sounded like someone was drilling in the room behind the one I was in.

It was good place to stay overnight, it was a good compact room with the necessary thing's needed. Great they offer breakfast, that's a great extra that not a lot of places do and staff were helpful. I will stay again, if needed.

Needed a bench or small table to be able to rest drinks ect on, extra cups to make at least 4 and glasses, but everything else great.

Price, and facilities.Room was cleaned every day,clean towels each day, clean cups each day.Bin emptied each day,Room was aired out each day.My belongings was not touched at all. Stayed 3 nights and 3 days,Bonus continental breakfast in the dining room.

As I was riding a motorcycle entering the property from Goonoo Goonoo road, you have to go over the gravel and pot holes before accessing the property/hotel. Again same as exiting the property to ride onto Goonoo Goonoo road,being very careful not to ride into the potholes.As there was some large ones.probably unnoticeable in a car or 4WD.Also the parking is a slight decline up hill, the further up the rear of the hotel rooms,makes it difficult for placing the stand down on the bike the angle, I found parking suitable for my bike between the rooms 1 to 12. Something to take into consideration if on a motorcycle. Also other travellers and noise after 10pm,people playing music through a portable speaker,placed outside the room.Is very disturbing for other travellers who need to rest.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was available as part of the price which was great.

Only thing that could have been better would be a desk or something similar to put your bag and either more pillows (was only 1 pillow per person) and better quality pillows. Other than that, it was a very clean and comfortable room and would definitely stay again.

Motel 359 was very clean,tidy and comfortable, the staff were welcoming, friendly and only to happy to help if we needed anything. The continental breakfast room between 7-9am was great and the price of our room for a couple of nights was very reasonable. I will definitely book with them again for any future trips to Tamworth

I have no complaints what so ever

The breakfast was definitely enough. Toast, cereal, juice, yoghurt, tea and coffee. Location was great for us within walking distance of the equine facility. Polite and efficient staff. No fuss. Great water pressure.

Bed was not particularly comfortable but pillows were not great. We had a small double which was small but enough for what we needed. A bit loud even down the back where we were. Light sleepers beware. Fridge froze our things.

Breakfast was available and was included in the cost of the room. The room was very clean and tidy and the hot water in the shower was almost instantaneous and there was plenty of it.

It would have been better to have a hand held shower head and the fridge was very cold so the milk and some of my yogurt was frozen.
