Tamworth Motor Inn & Cabins

The staff member was really friendly and helpful on arrival. The room was large, clean and well maintained. There was plenty of parking and it was quiet on the Friday night that we stayed and the location makes it easy to find.

The bed was pretty hard, which isn't my preference. The Louvre blinds let in a fair bit of light in the morning, so I would like there to be a curtain or blind to keep the room dark.

It is in a convenient location for attending an event at Scully Park - comfortable walk. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Nice wide car parking bay at your front door. The lady on reception was very welcoming and I would certainly return here.

As I had a room near the front, I did notice the traffic noise because it is on the main road. But I always travel with ear plugs just is case.

The location was very handy as we were there to do some renovation work in South Tamworth and it is conveniently located between town and where we needed to be. It was very clean and quiet and the rooms were very comfortable.

The rooms weren't serviced daily, which I found very odd. It didn't overly affect us, as fortunately we tend to hang our towels on rails to dry anyway, but I must say I was surprised to walk into the room after working hard all day to find the bed unmade. I would like to have been made aware that the room would not be serviced, it probably would not have made any difference to our choice to stay there, it just would have been nice to have known.

Easy check-in and a comfortable room with all the basics. The parking immediately adjacent to the room was a bonus.

No breakfast service. While one can appreciate there has been an issue on site that has impacted operations, the booking website should reflect the here and now...and not just what was 4 weeks or more ago.

The room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable and the hot water for the shower arrived quickly at any time of the day. Parking on site was excellent immediately outside the room and quite wide spaces. As the units are away from the main road you could not hear any road noise.

The beds had a doona cover which kept slipping off the bed.

Late check in was very handy, Staff were cheerful and competent. Facilities were clean and in generally good condition. Bed was comfortable

Some TV noise from nearby unit, pot plant at front door full of cigarette butts. Exhaust fan in bathroom probably needs replacing soon.

The location was convenient to access the the main road into town or if heading south. Access to the property was straight forward with parking available right outside the room. The staff were friendly and helpful too.

No complaints really but if you wanted to dine somewhere else, you need to drive there as the motel is on the south end of town and not within walking distance of the city centre.

This is the third time I've stayed at this motel. I've been going yearly for a sporting event and I find this motel to be in a good location, with easy access and good size rooms.

Shower rose dripped a little but no serious issues.

Very Friendly place. Very humble staff, nice spacious room, comfortable beds, excellent arrangements. Will definitely stay here when visiting Tamworth next. Overall Superb experience.

Jass and her lovely husband are the most hospitable owners I have ever met...Great motel, great food and great service 😀 Regularly stay in motels a few nights a week, but when in Tamworth this is my home away from home 🏡
