Stockmans Motel

Very nice well laid out room that also has a great bathroom. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There's a great restaurant onsite that is packed - every night - with people not only staying at the motel but with people from Tamworth or surrounding districts. The staff are friendly and work extremely hard. We've stayed at many motels / hotels in Tamworth, some of them VERY expensive, this motel is much nicer and much better value than any of the others.

It was all good, except for the whinging lady in the next room who complained that her breakfast was 5 minutes late.

The food was exceptional and the rooms are kept really clean. I enjoy staying here because of how quiet it is compared to the main part of Tamworth. The rooms are a great size and have lovely bathrooms. If you want to stay somewhere nice and clean that has that country comfort definitely book here. You can also book the motel to eat at their restaurant if you don't feel like going out of your way to find a place to eat,

The only thing is the meal sizes are quite huge. Other than that no issues at all.

the rooms were large and very comfortable and very tastefully renovated and decorated. the staff were friendly and helpful. our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived so we were offered a complementary coffee while we waited. Very much appreciated after a long drive. Dinner at Carmen’s restaurant was wonderful.

I couldn’t fault this property, there is nothing we didn’t like. we look forward to staying here again.

Location, we wanted to be just out of town. It was clean and tidy.

We thought we were in the old section. Didn’t realise there was a new building. It was very clean however bring what appeared to be a home converted it was a bit noisy and a bit too close with other people coming and going. Clearer information and photos of the options on booking would be good.

The place is maintained very well, room is very clean and comfortable size, parking is easy, staffs are friendly, and also it is affordable price. We tried dinner at the restaurant, food is yummy and service is excellent. We are very pleased to stay this place, definitely will stay again next time.

If the bathroom has more hanging rails will be more beneficial and convenience.

From the moment I opened the door I felt at ease. The room is large and airy and with a back door onto an extra balcony overlooking farm lands. This allows you to sit outside at any time regardless of the sunshine or rain. The layout of the room is excellent and includes a microwave which was certainly handy. Cleanliness was exceptional and the quietness of the air conditioner is also amazing. I utilised the restaurant both with room service and an inhouse meal and can highly recommend both. When interacting with various members of staff they always had a smile and a welcoming attitude. Don't forget the book directly with Stockman's as they have some fabulous deals.

Possibly a ceiling fan would be an added feature, although not really necessary. Just my preference over air conditioning.

Clean, neat and comfy for family of 4. Nice atmosphere and enjoyed sitting out on the verandah with a glass of wine in the evening. Nice location for us being just out of town.

A little out of town which made it a bit harder to get dinner when we had to check in at that time. They have a restaurant which provided room service and delicious food but more expensive than we would have otherwise chosen.

check in was easy, rooms huge, TV massive. love the pool and restaurant area, parking right outside your door, quiet. bathroom really clean. Had a microwave and little bar fridge. plenty of room for bags. very clean outside.

my boys wish it had a basketball hoop somewhere as it appears there is lots of room and they normally want me to choose one of the motels that has a hoop for them to use.

Spacious room; location-quiet, away from the main road, (unlike many others) but very convenient to the main attractions; lovely comfy bed; facilities-tea/coffee making, fridge etc. Great wardrobes space, clean bathroom. LOVED the beautifully clean swimming pool and the fact that the fabulous Italian restaurant was onsite-no hunting down places to eat. Staff were all beautiful. Oh...and the gelato/sorbet was awesome!

The overpowering sickly smell of cleaning agents/room spray(?) on entering the room made my allergies flare up. Thankfully when aired for some time, this smell lessened. Totally understand the "deep cleaning" re Covid though and appreciated the protocols in place.

Stockman's Motel exceeded our expectations. Clean room, great facilities (decent sized kitchen), a washing machine and dryer on the premises that we could wash our clothes. Great clean pool and playground for the kids. The Italian restaurant was also fantastic.

The WiFi was terrible, but it's not important. It meant that we spent less time on tech and more time bonding as a family and exploring the local area.
