Arion Airport Hotel

ROOM: The room was decent, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also okay. BED: The bed was okay, a bit too soft for our taste. BREAKFAST: We didn't pay for breakfast since we had an early morning flight. DESIGN AND SURROUNDINGS: The hotel is simple and clean, with two big parking lots. The option of leaving the car in the hotel for 5 € per day was extremely convenient for us since we only stayed there for one night before traveling further with a plane. The location is very near the airport. We used the shuttle transport to reach the airport and paid18 € for two persons. COMMUNICATION: The staff was nice and welcoming. The check in and check out process went smoothly. The wi-fi was good.

Everything was in line with our needs and expectations.

The breakfast area was very nice and met our needs. Our room was like a dorm-size bedroom, and we had issues with the AC, however, we did get it going. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are just there for 1 night to catch a flight, however, if you want to visit Vienna, then find a hotel closer to the center of Old Vienna, as this hotel is just too far.

There's only 1 restaurant within walking distance, so there are no choices if you want to eat out. They do offer Order In from a second option. We decided to go for a walk to that one restaurant that was within walking distance. This hotel is only good for 1 night if you don't have a car and this is the reason why.

The location is 10 minutes from the airport I choose this hotel because I had a 18 hours layover. I ordered a Uber ride and they took me to the hotel. The staff was nice and welcoming the room was nice clean and comfortable little small but it was okay beautiful bathroom. I only stay there for one day the breakfast was also good a lot of selections other than that it was a great stay also I visited the I believe it's called the city center is where all the tourist attraction was at I believe the Uber price was $20 to $30 to get there it took about 20 minutes you can catch the train but if you're having a layover over there is better to catch a Uber. Also the hotel offer transportation to the airport I believe it costed $20

Hotel is located quite close to airport in a calm place. Around hotel are some nice restaurants, in 10 minutes walking distance you can find a playground for kids, center of the city is on 15 minutes walking distance. Hotel room was quite large and nice as for family of 4. Not new but clean with all you need for 1 night stay. There is no elevator in hotel, but it shouldn’t be a problem if you do not have lots of luggage or health issues. I also liked breakfast that was surprisingly good as for a small hotel.

I have doubts about cleanliness of bedsheets. I noticed some spots on it and these spots definitely were relatively new.

The room, bathroom, bed stuffs are clean. Near the airport like only 7-10 minutes drive. Too many outlets where you can charge your mobiles. I love that they have an outlet near the bed.

Too far from the city center. 😅 Like 25-30 minutes drive. No near restaurants around the hotel so we end up ordering online. They have few options for breakfast. Otherwise foods served are good. No kettle or fridge. And also the first room they gave us wasn't the same as shown in the picture and the facilities mentioned for double room. No wardrobe or cabinets for luggages. Too small. And if it weren't for the damaged heater in the bathroom, we wouldn't be transferred to a bigger room.

We stayed 2nd time in the hotel. The breakfast was super and fresh, anybody can find some to eat. It has (few types of bread, different cheeses, omlette, baked beans, sausage, jam/butter, fresh tomato, pepper, various different cereals, cornflakes etc, and coffee/tea, juice and detox water). Free parking facilities.

We booked two double rooms, but when we arrived the receptionst told us that she can't find the our second room reservations, only the one and they have more free rooms, o it was a little bit shock us, but after a little bit conversations it was solved and everything have gone well.

The location is near the airport (10 min taxi drive), but not noisy from the planes. The neighbourhood is quiet, good for a short walk, several shops and small restaurants in 10-20 min walk. The room had an airconditioner - not that common in Austria.

The room was very functional for an overnight stay before/after flight, but as I stayed longer - I missed some shelves/wardrobe, fridge/minibar. I'd say for the price some more comfort and nice touches were expected.

The hotel was great for our purpose. We made a last minute decision to visit Wien, our first trip to a city that we really wanted to visit for a ling time. We knew we didn't need a fancy-schmancy hotel and we knew it was a bit far from the city. Just a clean place to sleep :) The hotel turned out to be much better! Breakfast was great, everything we could hope for and more, plenty of choices and was varied from day to day. The room was very clean, pristine bathroom, comfy beds. And the distance to the Wien wasn't really a problem. Only 10-12 minutes away from the train station and trains are on another level in Austria :D Bonus: walking through Schwechat, to the train station, was a beautiful prommenade in itslef, that place was so quite and clean! I literally carried the troller as to not disturb the amazing silence with the rattling of the wheels, lol. We would definitely choose Arion when we come back to Wien, even if we won't travel by airplaen

Nothing to mention. Seriously, we did not encounter a single unpleasant thing, especially considering our expectation and the price range we were looking for.

the breakfast was amazing

we've been told the room we initially booked was given away , that was frustrating , then we’ve been offered a different room where someone was smoking in the room and it smelled awful , then somehow the receptionist found the room we initially booked but she said it was booked for someone else , quite confusing, any way apart from the aircon which was a single unit installed in the room and was difficult to keep iy running as it was too windy in the room, everything was great. i do recommend but check the room availability with the reception first.

It is a pleasant hotel with very friendly and cooperative staff all around the clock. The rooms are kept to the highest standard in cleanliness and the airport shuttle is very well organized. It is a very good place to stay between flights and also if you are a pilot going for simulator in the training center at the airport. The staff arranged for the shuttle to take me for simulator session. The breakfast is also good there.

This is a quick stop hotel and it does the job perfectly. I am completely satisfied with facilities, staff friendliness and overall ambience of the place. There are no downsides I can point out. Since it is not exactly next to the airport, be sure to arrange the shuttle service ahead, so you can skip the taxi.
