acom-Hotel Vienna

I personally stayed at this hotel previously , my room was rather smaller then , this time was quite pleasant , breakfast for that price I must say quite satisfying , normally you’d get just two cups of coffee elsewhere for that price .. Hotel was located very conveniently for my purposes , bed so comfortable even more the pillows .. sheets , beddings and towels were so clean . I was on the 7th and to me my stay was so quite and nice .

Guess the easy chair could be a little softer and more comfortable ..

Paid 25 euro on arrival which I thought was refundable, apparently not it was for extras , no idea what. Paid 16 euros for breakfast was told if I booked in advance it would be cheaper. Booked last 5 before going into breakfast on second day but no cheaper. Did not have time to argue at checkout had an early flight. Brother in law booked in Ibis hotel cheaper but little difference in rooms.

Very comfortable, really close to metro and bus stations and only 1 stop away from the airport by train.

Before arrival i was sent a link to do the checkin online and in order to do this i was asked for my credit card and the entire amount for the accomodation was blocked on my card as a deposit. It doesn't say anywhere on booking that you have to pay a deposit of any kind. To ask for a deposit in the amount of the entire stay it is a bit too much especially when you are not informed about this before.

- staff at the check in desk was very helpful and friendly. - superb breakfast - there is an option to leave the luggage in the secure luggage room after checking out. also we were allowed to put your stuff to the fridge at the hotel bar - coffee points on each floor - spacious room, quiet good room insulation

- no fridge in the room - quite outdated bathroom with no hand soap, low quality body/hair cleaning products provided for the guests if considering Azimut as a 4-star hotel

All of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful and very good at their jobs. All of the reception staff (day and night) were welcoming and helpful, brilliant at their jobs, and I would like to mention in particular Marlies and Emmanuel, who were just great and felt like friends by the time I was leaving. The breakfast staff too were excellent, working tirelessly, and the domestic staff serviced the rooms to a high standard. The hotel is within easy reach of Vienna's excellent transport system, serves a great buffet breakfast that caters for all tastes, and my room was spacious and quiet. One of the best hotels I have stayed in, which helped to make my stay in Vienna so very enjoyable.

It's difficult to find a fault. I really cannot think of anything negative to say.

The location is very convenient near Central Train Station . With good options of getting to airport. The staff on the reception is nice and welcoming . The hotel is clean and with good facilities . The breakfast is usual for these kind of hotels, nothing special , but really enough for starting your day. A coffee/tea facilities on the floor near the autmatic machine of drinks and snacks. A little bit loud , if the window is open , but if you close them, the sound isolation is great. Air Conditioning is working properly .

For my opinion , the bed and pillows are too soft, but it's me. No toiletries except the shower gel , probably for all purposes,

Breakfast was excellent, staff were polite, mini kitchen was handy and the location by the train station (and the mini supermarket in the station) was of course useful. Very clean and comfortable and great value for money.

It's a slightly odd layout facing away from the train station which means you have to walk right round it every time. There are not many restaurants in the area although there is a street nearby with a couple on, which the reception staff didn't seem to know about. The hotel doesn't serve dinner which is inconvenient. There are a few fast food places in the train station

It's super close to the main station of Vienna. The staff is there round in the hour, which is perfect if you need something out of the blue.

The walk from the main station to the hotel in winter is cold due the wind. The streets in this area build a wind tunnel which is horrible. The internet connection at some points was not so good, but it could be due to an infrastructure topic (big walls reduce the radio). I was in the 6th floor, where you kind find a clothes ironing station which is always ON (not really eco friendly).

This hotel is value for money. The rooms are clean and simple but spacious and comfortable with an en-suite bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a 24-hr reception service reached within walking distance of Vienna main railway station. Despite the proximity to so much traffic, the area and hotel are quiet. There is also a small gym without any extra cost which has a cross trainer, an ergometer, a treadmill and some weight systems. For those wanting more comprehensive sports facilities, one should expect to pay more. In any case, there are additional sports facilities nearby.

There was a lingering odor in the bathroom.

Hotel Azimut absolutely exceeded our expectations. Staff was heplful and pleasant, room was clear and there was a sort-of kitchen on our floor with complimentary coffee and tea. Breakfast (8€ per person) was amazing and it provided us a lot of energy for walks around the city. :) We found a parking spot near the hotel, which was great because the parking is free during weekends. Metro station is around 7-8 minutes away from hotel. We would definitely come back.

Everything was excellent.
