The room is big and the location is good. 24 hour reception. My room was on the top floor and didn't hear any noise. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel but my colleagues said the food was pretty good.

For some reason my card never worked. Had to talk to the reception everyday to get a new card, which stops working in a few hours. The staff explained that the connection between the card-lock and the online access system is bad - I don't care so much about the reason so just hopefully anyone from the hotel reading this review will fix the problem. When I checked in the reception asked my for not only my passport but also my visa, which was a bit weird though. Have been living/travelling around in Europe for 4 years and this was the first time the hotel asked 'we need to check your visa or residence to make sure your staying in Europe is legal'... :/ The room is in general pretty clean, but it was full of bread crumbs on the chair. I guess they just forgot to wipe it.

Very affordable hotel for Vienna standards. Although rooms are quite plain, bed was surprisingly comfortable. Room is also very spacious. There is a Billa supermarket right next to the hotel.

Receptionists didn't seem very professional and kind. Room doesn't have a hairdryer, but you can get one at the reception if you leave 20 euros deposit. On the other side, there is no iron in hotel, so they should get some or at least room where guests can iron their clothes. Bathroom space is very poorly organized. Toilet, sink and shower cabin are all separated (even they could be easily put together, because room space allows it) and there is no privacy when you are taking a shower, because it's in the room and there are mirrors all around.

It was an excellent trip and the stay at the hotel was very good. The staff dealt with us nicely and provided assistance at any time. We thank all the staff and assistants, especially the reception staff, for their good treatment and understanding, as they speak most languages ​​such as Arabic, English, German and French.

In general, nothing I did not like, but maybe in the breakfast there is no renovation. We stayed in the hotel for a whole week. The breakfast was the same, unlike the Ibis hotel in the French city of Nice. Every day was a different and multiple breakfast. It is just a note that does not detract from the value of the hotel in terms of comfort, safety and excellent location. and high-end services.

Second time in this hotel and again it completely satisfied my needs. They are what they say they are, they don't pretend to be anything they are not. It's an excellent 2* hotel and they are a great value at that. Excellent heating, very clean, helpful and pleasent staff. I haven't had breakfast so I can't rate that, otherwise big thumbs up, I'll book them gladly again! Cool mood lighting and controls that are reachable from bed. Slick ;)

If you are aware that it's not a 5* resort, I believe you can't say anything bad here.

We are using this hotel since 2002 because is very easy to arrive by car (from the highway), has a very good location - the subway Gasometer is 5 min walk, with connection to the center - is a very good rate between conditions and price, is very clean and the services are very good. It can be used the parking from the hotel - which is a little expensive - or it can be used the public parking 5 min from the hotel (the price is much lower). In this second options it can be used the Billa parking to take luggage from the car and - after that - to go to the public parking)

The price for the hotel parking - 15 Euro/night - is to expenses!

Ibis budget Sankt Marx has excellent connectivity to Wien Linien network and local bus lines. It is quite near the Gasometer station which has a decent light supermarket for basic groceries shopping, as well as food outlets, including an American-based fast food outlet, a cafe and a pizzeria. The free wi-fi connection is satisfactorily fast. Most of all, I like the fact that the entire hotel is tidy and clean. No fancy frills but it does the job.

Ibis budget could have provided complimentary in-room ironing facilities. Alternatively, a common ironing room. Another option is to offer paid ironing equipment on short-term rental basis. After all, just like me, there are guests who stay on a business trip.

To charge 20 euros to borrow a hair dryer was a bit over priced,and the Gentleman who is the manager has no manners to speak with a guest....very rude,no patience at all. I did book trough booking,and I was not sure if I had paid or not,so I asked the desk to wait to check my emails to make sure I hadn't paid,because I did book few months ago with so many others hotels for the trip,so I wasn't sure,and he was extremely rude explaining me I had not paid,he didn't consider I was travelling with a 4 years old girl,so I need time to check and give her attention at the same time....he definitely needs to be trained to deal with guest,because I had my rights to make sure about the payment

This Hotel has met my expectations. Let us consider all the pros: -Staff: they were really friendly. -Check-in/out: the check-in took not even 2 minutes. The check-out was self-done by putting the key into a dedicated box. -The Hotel: it is situated a bit on the outskirt of Vienna. However, I chose this particular hotel for its vicinity to the Gasometer where I had a concert to go to. If you plan to go to a concert in Vienna at the Gasometer, this hotel would be the perfect choice for you, i.e. I was able to walk to Gasometer. If you plan to go and do some sightseeing though, you have also several ways to reach the city center (e.g. bus and U-Bahn). -The Room: it was really nice, but very basic. Comfy bed. -Price: very low price for a very well-maintained hotel.

Let us consider all the cons: -Location: even though it is very well connected with public transportation, it will still take you about 20 minutes to reach the city center. -Miscellaneous: it still baffles me that in 2023 there are still hotels with rooms without a hairdryer included in every room.

It was a good value for money. Necessities were nicely fulfilled, breakfast was great as well. The bed was comfortable too. Hygiene wise it was top! The lady clearing the dishes was super kind and patient, other staff were really nice too. Also, the smart lights in the bed were super cool! \(^_^)/

The pillows could definitely be better. They were too soft/under fuffed in the sense that when you put your head on it, you feel it hit the bed rather than being supported by a pillow. A few more hangers would have been nice too since it was a two person room and there wasn't any closet (which for us was okay since budget hotel wise we don't expect too much as we pay less too). In our room the curtain was also broken (didn't go up and down smoothly and was stuck the whole time).

Bed was OK. Rooms are very basic. No closets for chlotes. Bathroom block in the room.
