Hilton Vienna Danube Waterfront

Location next to River and city bypass road , and the view were nice . Big comfortable room , very tasty breakfast ,avarage restaurant menu , great service

That was my first stay in this hotel but I felt like a second categogry customer . On each corner guest is reminded that they prefere the frequent guests from their loyality program . Parking spots under the roof, tables next to windows reserved for diamond members at the breakfast ( needed to explain my child why things like that happen) . But the worst thing i will remember was the water issue. I booked a water front room for a business stay but traveling with my family. I was suprised that the water in the fridge was free just for frequent customers , others must pay (4€) . In the hotel that level that was just sad.

This is one of the best hotels when travelling with the family to Viena for multiple reasons: it is not located in a crowded area, it is right on the Danube, has a great executive lounge, up at the last floor, the subway station is to five minutes walking, rooms are really big and comfy.

A little to crowded at the breakfast

Sauna, Jacuzzi and pool were busy but nice.

Breakfast was a disaster. The breakfast room was crowded and when we were outside we were attacked by swarms of bees. I would recommend to eat breakfast at the Stadion Shopping Center instead.

Spacious Room, Nice River View, convenience Parking .Good Location for car users .

The safe in the room did not work well as it seems a problem in all rooms (need to be replaced in all rooms). The Breakfast area needs reorganization since it seems very crowded and people crossing and bumping into each other.

Pros: * Location on the river bank, the air was better than in the center; * Spacious room; * Breakfasts were superb; * Fitness room very OK, just would be great with more of the fresh air. * Staff was amazing.

Cons: * Conditioner was almost dead, and when it worked the air felt dusty. You will surely need AC if your room would be facing city. * Trimming of the room could be somewhat better, particularly cleaning of the floor, there still were soil residues at the entrance after room cleaning; * The food at the restaurant apart from the fab breakfasts was either horribly over-salted or somethings else, only lunch snacks were OK to eat. * No proper space for yoga/pilates, which could be easily arranged in the hotel premises, especially outside on the bank.

The hotel is Waterfront so it had a great view to wake up to ( as long as you booked Waterfront view), the staff were super helpful and were quick to help. Stadion station is a quick 5 minute walk so we had easy access to public transportation system, made it easier to get around.

The hotel itself isn't close to anything, you can't walk a few minutes and access many food spots. The a/c is basically nonexistent, doesn't help with the heat wave happening. The cleaning staff did basic cleanup, sometimes we found the dirty towels still on the floor after cleanup.

We chose this hotel because it was the closest 5 star hotel to Ernst-Happel stadion, where we went to a Rammstein concert. We expected more from this hotel. We liked the lobby and the terrace on the Danube waterfront. The food was decent, but not great. The breakfast had enough options to choose from, and was good.

For a 5 star Hilton hotel, I have to say that we were disappointed. The bathroom needs an urgent renovation. The room was too worn. I did not see ramps for trollers when coming from the parking lot, not to mention it for people in wheelchairs. And there were a few stairs to climb... Paying around 18 euro for 2 bottles of still water seemed in a total disagreement with what this hotel has to offer.

The family room we booked had a great size and was really a nice experience for the 3 of us. The hotel is right at the water front of the Danube, which is very relaxing. Restaurants, Breakfast are good, staff very frindly. If you have excecutive club access, you have drinks in the evening and a small buffet included.

The room was huge and very clean. We got an upgrade to the waterfront side because the hotel was being renovated. The breakfast is varied. The staff at the reception is nice and friendly.

The staff working at the bar of the hotel is quite unorganised. That night there was a huge concert at the stadium nearby and a lot of guests were staying at the hotel. The staff could have guessed that a lot of their guests might want a drink at the bar after the concert, but that didn't occur to them. There was a huge queue at the bar and the people waited for a long time to be served so better organisation is needed when such events are happening at venues near the hotel.

Room was cosy, large, silent with super view to the river, We used the sauna and sport facilities during our stay which we were satisfied with. The bar offers wide range of drinks, good quality snacks. Appx. 5 mins walk from Stadium metro station, so quite well located. Easy to park the car next to the hotel and use the public transport. However, parking is not cheap in the garage / parking areas of the hotel: €24/day.

Breakfast: restaurant was quite crowded around 9:30 once, we even had to queue to get in. After 9.30 quite many things were fully consumed but not or very slowly refilled. Bar area: some of the furniture is old and not comfortable. A smart tv in the rooms would be a better fit to Hilton quality.
