Vienna Sporthotel

The room was quite big. Big closets. Close to the metro station. There is a fridge in the room which is fantastic 😀. You have a minibar in the room.

I could see these little hairs in the bathroom 😬 I'm sensitive to small hair! Like it wasn't clean enough! Also not really close to city center, like 40 min walking. Also you don't have kettle in the room or lobby! You can't get hot water and you should buy it from the restaurant of the hotel! To get a spoon, you should put a deposit of 10€😂and when I wanted my 10 back, another person was there that didn't know what I'm really talking about! So remember the name when you pay!

Breakfast was delicious and varied, in the Austrian style. The room was well soundproofed and the windows open. It was great to use the sauna and the pool (21 degrees when we were there), which is included in the room rate and open early till late. Everything was very clean. Location is easy to reach central Vienna in 15 minutes by U3 and also easy to Uber to the airport. Local restaurants were good (Ni Jo and Trettoria). Helpful staff spoke English well.

Mattresses were a bit hard and not enough pillows. The sauna was shared between men and women and the custom is complete nudity, which may not suit many visitors (the women's sauna should be operational and advertised so women know they won't have to share).

The room is spacious and has almost what you need. There is a laundry room (washing machine and direr) in the ground floor which you can use while staying. That was really convenient. The location is good, close to the U3 train station and also some other light rail lines.

Wish the breakfast could have more choices. A electric kettle in the room would be nice.

Exceptional management and staff service - friendly kind and helpful. Good facilities like cafe which opens till late, complete with lunch and tea offers. Loads of sports facilities although I had no time to use them.

Although there were steps to my room and I had an injured knee, the manager and staff were really helpful. They asked the receptionist staff who helped me with my luggage. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me find a room to extend my stay for a 2nd night (she actually called me on phone when 1 became available).

Everyone was just really, really nice and accomodating. Also, the place is not the most modern so we expected it to feel old, however it was stunningly clean and every surface and material was kept exceptionally well in shape and clean over those years. It almost felt like it was built do look old but was new. The beds were great, the showers gave hot water right away, and the service in the restaurant was good, as well as the food.

Considering you know in advance that this is not some architectural delight designer hotel, but a place with a few years under its belt, there's really nothing negative I could say about our stay.

The room was nice and offered a selection of tea & coffee options. The staff was friendly and the check-in process was hassle-free. The location is very convenient for arriving by car.

During the booking process I was searching for a room for three people, and I was specifically looking for a room that has three actual beds and not one normal bed and a pull-out sofa. Either this detail slipped my attention before confirming my selection or the information shown on the room details page was misleading. Additionally, the central vacuum system they use for housekeeping is very lound if the socket isn't closed correctly. This resulted in a less than ideal first night (morning) of sleep. Luckily, we discovered the "culprit" on our second day and the noise was almost eliminated.

The hotel is well located not far from the airport and also not far from the center (by metro 10 minutes to Stephansplatz - that is underground station which is really in the center of the old town. Choose this hotel because of the pool - located in a quiet courtyard and after a long day you can feel like relaxing (like resort) and sunbathing and swimming. But the swimming pool is not heated and can only be used in hot weather.

Although the rooms are large but the windows are small and face either the street or the opposite wall. The overall hotel is not new (but offers a variety of facilities for sports)

The hotel has a swimming pool. After 4 days of cycling it was perfect ending hanging around the swimming pool. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. It has lot's of sport facilities like fitness gym, swimming pool, tennis court.

The hotel is a bit outdated but none the less it was clean. Not really something to not like just to be aware of it the toilet is separate and not in the bathroom with the shower and sink.

The hotel reception was informed to take a quiet room away from the sounds and the Do Not Disturb card was hung on the door from the outside, but unfortunately the cleaners and room customer services were laughing loudly, which annoyed us a lot.. Please respect the customers more.. There is no water heater inside the rooms, if it was available it would have been better ...Thank you

Everything was great: room was very big and comfortable, bathroom was clean and the staff has been very nice and kind in satisfying all our requests. The hotel is not so close to the city centre, but it is very easy to reach it by underground.

I would have expected a little bit more choices of food at breakfast, but still breakfast was quite good.
