The location was great, less than 5 minutes walk from St Stephansplatz with its shops, cafes and underground station. The hotel is small and the rooms are located over 10 floors. The room was a good size, as was the bathroom. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

When the booking was made it was advertised with free breakfast. However, when we arrived we were told breakfast was not included. Unfortunately I was unable to locate any documentation at the time that showed the offer of breakfast, lesson learned I will take a screen grab in future. Breakfast is charged at 20 euros per person per day. We do like to have breakfast at our hotel, but opted to eat out each morning. We found lots of cafes close to the hotel that offered a good breakfast for two of us for under 20 euro in total.

- Excellent location right in the city centre (Stephansplatz). We were able to walk to most attractions without taking any form of public transport. - Great room size and very clean. The design/ aesthetic of the rooms is also amazing. - Very comfortable beds. - Great air conditioning that we were able to keep on even when we were away. - We were able to store our suitcases for a few hours on the last day in their storage room, which was excellent. - The staff were very, very friendly and even gave us a parting gift :)

- Breakfast was tasty but more variety would've been amazing. - Would've been nice for the hotel to give us bathroom slippers. - Takes a while for the bathroom ventilation to do its job especially if it's very humid after a shower.

The location is perfect (it was our second time there). The staff is friendly and helpful, especially towards little children. The breakfast is very diverse, tasty, fresh, and elegantly set. The place is very clean and tidy. After checking out we could leave our luggage for an entire day with no extra charge and with a generous smile.

There was a problem with the shower head - it was a bit leaky, a five minutes work for someone with the right tool (and simply replacing it would have done too). We informed the front desk on the first day and they told us they'd sent the technician, but it hasn't been fixed during our entire eight day stay. It was no big deal though, and we haven't mentioned it again to them.

Our choise of Elaya Hotel Vienna City Center (Ehemals Arthotel Ana Amadeus) was especially successful. The location (3 min by Stephanplatz), the U-Bahn stations (Stephanplatz U & Schwedenplatz U), cafes, restaurants, shops: all nearby (5-20 min on foot). The room was spacious. Cleanliness, quietness and staff service was friendly. We particularly appreciate the assistant of the receptionist Mr. Franck Ilunga who was always willing to assist us (Flexible Week Tickets, Boarding-Pass printing, etc.). We shall always be happy to recommend your fine hotel.

The Amadeus Hotel could not but he in a better location right in the heart of the Central district with St Stephens Cathedral a few minutes walk away and yet is located on a very quiet street with no traffic noise. From the moment we walked through the doors the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need and a large window making it bright and airy. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and the room is warm and cosy. Housekeeping is included with fresh towels every day. Coffee machine is provided with tea, coffee and milk replaced each day. Powerful hot shower with endless hot water. Breakfast provides a good selection of food and drinks to set you up for the day. Free coffee and tea are available throughout the day. Taxi service is available for pick up and return to the airport and can be arranged at Reception through your stay. We will definitely highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends for any future trips to Vienna. Excellent service and perfect location.

The Receptionist (Frank) was extremely welcoming and helpful and attended to our every need. We could not fault him. He booked everything we requested with a smile on his face. It was a nice touch to get afternoon tea and biscuits. Also to be able to ask for coffee at any time even though there was a coffee machine in the room. The hotel is very central. If you imagine Vienna as a Spiders Web the hotel is in the very centre. Public Transport is very easy to use and cost effective but everything is within walking distance from the Hotel.

The room was excellent and large. We loved it! The bathroom was huge, and the bathroom counter was enormous, we could place all our things very comfortably on it. The location was wonderful, super close to the cathedral and all the central city activities, and there was a metro station a couple of blocks away so we could go to other interesting places. The best thing about this hotel was the staff. The manager was very helpful and friendly. Excellent service, beautiful hotel, super clean. We loved it.

The decor of the room sums up Vienna the city....the location was amazing-central to everything and safe in the evening for a solo traveller. Front desk were helpful when I had questions. I arrived early in the morning and they were able to accommodate me immediately to my room.

Not a deal breaker but breakfast was a small selection of things. I saw that other guests had croissants but there were none left. The service could have been a little better at breakfast - you have to ask for hot drinks rather than they come and ask you if you need anything.

The hotel was lovely, situated well. Breakfast was more than adequate and always topped up as things ran low. All staff were friendly and also the hotel was very clean.

We arrived late and the person checking us in was a little abrupt and unfriendly and we had problems working out the heating and air conditioning in the room. It did not cause too much of a problem though. Coffee was not replenished in the room and when we asked, the person didn't understand us and delivered more sugar. The fridge was on the floor and as there was underfloor heating the fridge stayed warm.

Staff at the reception was really kind and helpful! Hotel smells fresh and clean! We loved our room. It's was super clean! Everything was tidy. They have Nespresso machine and you can have a coffee for free in the room. We suggest you to stay in this beautiful and cozy hotel! Very close to St. Stephen's Plaz, Albertina Palace, Opera House etc. Love love love it! Thank you guys!
