Hotel Rocentro

The staff is extremely helpful. I arrived early at the morning and my room was already empty so they offered me to early check-in so I can get some sleep!! Also after the check out I left my bags and took a day trip then when I was back again they said I can use the toilet and stay to charge my phones till my bus time!!!! Thanks to staff I had a wonderful stay ❤️ Also the location is super, its right in the center few steps away from the trap to the central bus station. The view from the room balcony was lovely, Difeintly I will come again👍🏻

Nothing except that the bathroom needs some renovation but it was clean so no problem!

The room was very nice with comfortable beds. The bathroom had the necessary toiletries and was cleaned regularly. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions, luggage storage and calling for a taxi when asked. Breakfast was good, with a varied selection of both savoury and sweet items. I don't know where they get the chocolate bread thing, but I need more of it!

A little bit noisy due to the tram station right in front of the hotel, but that's to be expected if you want your hotel to be in a good location.

The location of the hotel is great! You can walk to most tourist attractions from there. Breakfast was really excellent and the coffee was the best I ever had in a hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful!

Because of the central location of the hotel, it is a bit noisy but you can solve the problem with ear plugs, as I did. Also, the location and number of the electric sockets, is not the best. There should be at least one socket available near the desk. The internet was better than last time.

Great value for money! Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with great coffee. Comfortable beds and clean sheets. The hotel is located very close to the center of the city and everything was easily accessible. Serdika metro station is very near and there are a lot of stores and restaurants around. Tip: There is a great Chinese restaurant near the hotel on Chiprovtski St. 1, called The Two Lions, with great food, huge portions, excellent service and prices and authentic tastes.

More power outlets are needed in the rooms and a satellite connection on TV would make a big difference, because the local channels dubbed all the voices, so you only hear Bulgarian on TV. Room was a bit noisy because of the traffic and the tram. WiFi speed was low at times and often disconnected. Overall, I believe that the good points of the hotel, overweight the negative ones.

I really liked the location of the hotel and the receptionist who checked us in was really nice and forthcoming. There was a radiator in the room that could be adjusted so you are comfortable with the temperature. We liked that they changed the towels after the first night and added more soaps and shampoos.

There is mold on the ceiling of the room next to the windows. This is a serious health problem which should be resolved as soon as possible. It is probably due to bad windows, as you can feel the cold air drifting in from them when they are closed.

Location was great, 15-20 mins into city center, right by metro and trams. Fabulous restaurant just around the corner called Balito. Friendly staff, breakfast was continental and ok. The hotel was good value in my opinion, but an upgrade of pillows and duvet would be beneficial . would return again if I came back .

Pillows were lumpy, and only one each. Little noisy in the front of hotel with trams going past but with an Ok view though.

The location is great. Just 5-10 minutes from the main street of Vitosha. Sofia Mall is also a 5-10 minute walk. The breakfast was good/decent. It's a place where you can stay for a couple of nights as it is very cheap. There is access with a lift to all 6 floors. It's very basic really with a receptionist 24/7.

There are no kinds of facilities in the whole hotel or the rooms. It definitely needs full renovation, especially the rooms and bathrooms.

HOTEL WAS LOCTED IN A CENTRAL SITUATION ONLY 10 TO 15 MINUTES WALK FROM THE CITY CENTRE, IE., VITOSHA. THE HOTEL ROOM WAS A REASONABLE SIZE OVER LOOKING A NEARBY SQUARE. THE BREAKFAST WAS VARIED AND SUFFICENT FOR A GOOD START TO THE DAY!

EVERYYHING WAS PERFECTABLY ACCEPTABLE. HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE A ROOM OVER LOOKING THE NEARBY SQUARE, BE PREPARED FOR SOME NOISE, ESPECIALLY FROM TRAMS - EARLY MORNING AND LATE AT NIGHT.

A good choice for a short stay. Close to the city centre and easy to reach, this hotel is located 5 minutes on foot from Serdica Metro or 15 minutes walk from Sofia Central station. The decor is a bit outdated but overall the room was very clean and the bed comfy, the wifi worked well. Staff speak a bit of English and were polite and helpful. Breakfast was ok, although the selection was a bit limited. This is a budget hotel: you get what you pay for and I can't complain, I would return again.

Great location, despite the busy area, the room and the hotel in general, were quiet. The room was clean and of good size. I did not have breakfast, so I cannot say anything about it.

There was an issue with the air conditioner in my room. The receptionist was kind enough to change my room, but again the AC did not work correctly. I was ready to leave the hotel and find another one because my main requirement was the AC due to my health problems. The guy did his best, and the AC in the third room was working perfectly.
