Charles Central

Can't emphasize enough how friendly was the staff. Very accommodating with special requests. The Welcoming Wine, Water and fruit plate was a very nice touch. We appreciated it very much. It made our 9th anniversary a bit more special 😉. Room was great and spacious. Outside man playing the flute, made our experience there even more enjoyable. Location was SUPERB! I recommend it to everyone. Grocery stores, big and small at our fingertips. Cafés, restaurants, bakery, jewelers, etc right outside. Awesome Phó place next door. Train station 30 feet away and No noise! How wonderful is that!!. Bus/tram right at the corner to take us to city center, although walking there was not far. We found hidden gems walking in the area. We'll MOST DEFINITELY stay here again

The location is perfect if you want to go to city’s center by the train. More kindnesses stuff i didn’t see it till now. They are always there and willing to help. The housekeeper Oksana was the nicest person, she was keeping our room clean on a very next level. Thank you guys, till next time.

The stuff was absolutely great. Location is right beside metro station. Building is old but rooms were reconstructed and I need to reccomend it. Bottle of wine for free in the room. 😁

Big shout out for Zung!

Room was quite spacious for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenage children). Location was very near underground and tram stations (which was convenient although slightly noisy) as well as restaurants and supermarkets. You could walk into the city centre (approx 40mins) but public transport is so good and reasonably priced that we used public transport extensively. My wife had her birthday while we were staying and the hotel staff kindly left some gifts for her and a little card to celebrate her birthday. Staff were very helpful at all times. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options available. Furthermore, we were given a takeaway breakfast bag on our final day because we had to leave before breakfast was being served.

It was a bit noisy being so near to public transport stations. Also the hotel is over 7 or 8 floors with 1 small lift (2 people capacity) so if you are not very mobile then you might want to request rooms on the lower levels.

Charles Central Hotel was a great find for our trip to Prague - slightly outside the city centre so you find a lot of nice (& cheap) restaurants etc. but the city centre is reachable in 10 mins on subway or tram. Staff are beyond friendly and helpful, a class act in hospitality and Oksana was great with cleaning the rooms and providing us with all the extra towels that the girls needed. Rooms were very cosy and the bathroom was nice and spacious.

Very minor… one windy night, there was a lot of metal on metal banging - I assume pipes or gutters off the balcony’s maybe!? Whilst it was loud, it didn’t stop us from sleeping or wake us but if you’re a light sleeper, it would be annoying. Hotel did provide ear plugs though which I thought was unique - I now know why. In saying this, it wouldn’t stop us from going back to stay here again.

This hotel had the nicest staff. Everyone worked hard to make our stay there as comfortable as possible. Khang, Kate, Eduard and Irada - Thank you, thank you!! The room was comfortable and the beds were large yet cozy. The room was always very clean. The dining room was small but the thoughtful dining staff worked hard to keep the buffet full and the tables clean and ready for new people. Parking was nearby and convenient and the hotel is next to a metro station (don't worry, you won't hear a thing). This made it very fast and easy to get around Prague. We took advantage of the cute, 2-person elevator, as needed, but sometimes it was faster to use the stairs. Did I mention the comp bottle of wine upon arrival? Excellent!!

More restaurants in the neighborhood. When we arrived, all the neighborhood restaurants were full - we had to walk a bit until we found a place to get dinner. After that first day, we used the Metro to just go into Old Prague and eat.

This is an old fashioned but comfortable hotel. Everything in the room was spotless, the staff were helpful. The heating was excellent. It is directly above a metro stop and so very convenient to travel around the city. There are many restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity

I don't think this hotel is very accessible - there are around 10 steps up to the lift, which is quite tight - 2 persons max in lift - and for the shower, you must step over and into the bath, which was quite high. This would not put me off staying here again personally, but may not be suitable for older or mobility impaired folks.

The location of the hotel is great. Easy to reach by car. Park nearby. They cover the parking costs. Then it is just 2 or 3 stations by metro to the old city. Metro is right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a lift. But you need to go up 10 steps to reach the lift . For some people this might be difficult. For our family this was no issue. The rooms are a bit dated. Acceptable for sure. Also clean. Just in a few year i guess it really needs a bit of a makeover.

During the stay, everything at the hotel was great. There was good communication via email before we arrived. The best part about Charles Central is that the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everybody at the reception desk gave us tips on where we should go (the view at Panorama Cafe was fantastic). Irada and Eduard were very nice and kind in the restaurant. Oksana made the teddy bear feel comfortable :) Our room was very clean and was cleaned every day. The hotel has a perfect location - it's near the subway and trams, with great restaurants nearby. It also provides parking for your entire stay, which is located on the next street. The breakfast was great and very generous, and there are comfortable beds in the room. The city is beautiful and we will return.
