Pentahotel Prague

Nice spacious room with shower cabin. Perfect for a city break. Super delicious breakfast with variety of food. I faced a situation when a sports team came to the breakfast area (ca. 40 people at a time) and the staff did manage (bravo!) to keep the bar full of food. Very well equipped gym with top class machines, plenty of space and possibility to turn on additional lights and control volume of music which I very much enjoyed. Wifi was fine although in my room I had small issues with coverage. Interesting atmosphere in the lounge, actually it looks more like a club with a big bar, offering drinks and relaxation area including billiards. Convenient location, 100m from nearest metro station. A grocery store just in the next building availavle.

Although as I mentioned the atmosphere in the lounge is more bar-like, at the check-in it might be a bit overwhelming: music, dimmed lights, lots of people, drinks being made... and you do the check-in at the bar. Second cons that I can think of was the glass wall in the shower area which is simply too small and makes the water splash around everywhere over the bathroom, but not much can be made around this. Still, overall experience made my stay highly appreciated - thanks!

The room design was really cool, the lights control took some time to get used to but it was ok after the first day. The room temperature was perfect while the bed was super comfy. Also the room was very spacious which is something really nice. The breakfast was quite complete, I did not book it in advance, just paid on the go, and had it twice since the offer was very complete and mostly, tasty. Overall it was a good experience, never had a hard time with the staff, they were super friendly, and... there's 24 hour pizza available (yes xD) Location wise, it's in Karlin (Prague 8), it's not super close to downtown but not super far away, (it's a 5 min trip by Uber and 15 by tram approx), the neighbourhood is calm, and mostly surrounded by offices so there's no nightlife to disturb you if what you need is a good rest after a long day. There are several restaurants around that can cover the food offer if you don't plan to stay at the hotel for dinner or lunch.

The shower splashed everywhere even trying not to, but other than that it was good.

Room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The hotel is located right next to a Lidl which was open long hours. It was only a block from the subway in a quiet neighborhood away from the throngs of tourists. The breakfast looked good, but I did not partake. The lobby has a lot of comfortable seating & a pool table & a bar.

Apple maps sent me to the wrong location. It was the correct street but about 4 long blocks away. Only when I called the hotel and they told me to look for a Lidl and a Mercedes dealer was I able to find them on the map. Just a heads up. It wasn't the hotel's fault.

Very good breakfast, though it gets busy and can be hard to find a table if you don't get there early. The 24-hour bar is a nice feature for traveling friends/colleagues. Good hot water and pressure. Great location too, Karlín is a nice area with good bars and restaurants, and very easy to Metro or tram (or 25-minute walk) into the historic center if you want.

No fridge in the room and only one chair. There's really no lobby, it's just a bar—so relaxing and sharing a beer from outside, for example, is not welcome. They want you to hang out at that bar and buy their drinks. There can be some street noise from the tram going all night, if you're on that side.

I liked everything in Pentahotel Prague. Location is perfect - nice and calm neighborhood, vicinity of metro station Križikova (only two stations to city center), city center can be easily reached on foot in 20-25 mins. Hotel has a stunning lobby - beautifully decorated 24/7 bar and breakfast room. Rooms are very spacious, beds are big and extremely comfortable. I had a great balcony in my room, overlooking quiet inner yard, and a very nicely decorated bathroom. Everything in this hotel is clean and cozy and provided me with the sense of comfort and relaxation. There is a complementary bottle of mineral water in the room, which was regularly replaced, as well as a tea and coffee maker (instant coffee, including decaf, regularly replenished) Breakfast offers solid selection of food (vegetables, fruits, pastries, eggs prepared in all imaginable ways, variety of meet and dairy products, great variety of bread, sweets, cereals and so on and soon), food is very tasteful and coffee is great. Hotel staff is extremely polite and friendly and also very professional. I had a room reservation made by my company and booked a room on my own for additional 2 days. Upon my request sent by email, hotel staff kindly arranged me to stay in the same room. All in once, I cannot think of anything to dislike in Pentahotel.

The room was clean and tidy. Good selection of different things for breakfast. The bar area was nice and open all the time, so ideal for a few drinks after getting back from a night out

I booked a twin room and made a note on the form, but this wasn't communicated to the hotel. Luckily they manage to change our room from a double to a twin. The décor in the hallway was very dark, gave an initial impression of being a bit down market, but décor in the rooms was fine.

Breakfast is really good, a lot of choice, everything fresh. Good coffee. Maybe a bit crowdy, some People were seating on high chairs which can be not 100% comfortable. However quality of food and coffee very good.

Check in and check out (especially) is quite time consuming. I know that`s not a fast food and Employees are doing their best, but it is taking a lot of time. Also I have booked my room via booking.com and price was different on Invoice than I have paid. I paid less than on invoice but from some accountants point of view it can be complicated. I don`t want to write that Employees are slow, rather software or I don`t know...but this is just one issue.

It had a really cool vibe with friendly and helpful staff. As a last minute option I was very pleased and got good value for money. I got the feeling that it could be good place to come to again when needed.

Parking and breakfast were a bit overpriced, the room was nicely designed but with small malfunctions which could be easily fixed: lamp with no on/off switch (I had to pull it out), plastic wall piece that wasn’t really held properly on the wall over the work desk.

Clean hotel, well located (fast connection to the center), nice staff, lots of things to choose from at the breakfast buffet, pool or table football available fir when you have to wait or the weather is bad, water with lemon available during the day at the reception

Breakfast truly is crowded, also at the end of October, but the staff are doing a pretty good job with refills. The hallways are dark, which is a pity, but not a major issue.

This hotel offers a 24/7 reception with a convenient bar for guests. Additionally, it boasts a prime location, being situated just 5-10 minutes away from the closest underground station. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to access public transportation and explore the city efficiently.

For me, the oversized bed :-) relative to the room's size made it difficult to move around comfortably, and though not excessively small, the room felt rather narrow.
