ibis Clichy Centre Mairie

The hotel was good value for the price. As expected from Ibis it has been budget and small, clean, simple, informal. Fine for the short stay. Hotel staff was very friendly. 5 min walking from the metro, from where 15-40 min to the city center (depends which part of the city you go).. Mairie de Clichy with the covered market closby in the weekend was quite worth 15 min of our time to see life of Quartier Clichy, why not. So, it was a good experience for us.

I rarely leave reviews but thought Ibis was definitely worthy of one. We arrived and the staff member (a man - I don't know his name, unfortunately) was very helpful and friendly! Staff all speak good English (and understood my broken French!). The room was clean, comfortable and modern. There are several reviews complaining about the size of the rooms but I thought it was just fine for two people - we were out exploring all day anyway so spent little time in the room! The beds - extremely comfortable. I had what was possibly the best afternoon nap of my life there. Location wise - central Paris and all of the big monuments are very accesible by the metro (there is a metro stop a 3 minute walk away from the hotel). The area is bustling during the day with markets/ local businesses. There is a great shop right across the road called Casino for any snacks etc you may need. However, it is very quiet / a little spooky at night (as is expected in all big cities + we were two young females) so we were home in bed for 11pm both nights. All in all, it was a fantastic stay. I'll be back if ever travelling to Paris again.

the location was amazing and the staff was wonderful. the price overall was reasonable and it was the perfect size for a solo traveller. they especially helped make me feel safe!

the bathroom was slightly dirty in those hard to reach places but nothing terrible! also, the elevator is sized for 2 people which makes it slightly difficult for the residents but a staircase is available!

I liked how friendly & welcoming the gentleman was when I checked in I was a little apprehensive as I know the bare minimal of the French language but he spoke English which was a huge relief.

I didn't like the tiny lift. Also my companion wasn't allowed in for breakfast one morning as it was stated breakfast was between 6.30-10 so I was told on reception he was refused at 9.30.

Great location, the room was quiet. The breakfast was excellent and the lady managing it kept everything stocked and clean. She was also very friendly and helpful.

The room’s main surfaces were clean, but the perimeter of the room hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Housekeeping probably needs an additional person to have enough time to clean properly.

The hotel is very nice. The kindness of all the staff os incredible. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast, even if it wasn’t included in the price of the sojourn, is very good. The metro is near the hotel. We will return!

Hotel near to the Metro Mairie de Clichy 5 minutes walk and from there you can get anywhere, staff helpfull

The room on the 6th floor was beside the elevator, I could here it everytime, the lift is also so small , and the room was also small

Location, cleanliness and friendly staff.

The only criticism & reason why I scored it a 9 not a 10, was you could do with 2 x towels per person. The rooms are small but as it’s a base for a busy city break this didn’t impact us. Thank you

The staff was very polite and hospitable. Many thanks to people who work at the reception. Even after eviction from the room, they allowed to leave the luggage for storage the whole day. The room was clean and had everything necessary and view from from the window was great.

The hotel is very close to the metro station. It is a quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and shops are nearby.

The air conditioning in the room is in very poor condition. The room is very small. It would be nice to be greeted with a bottle of water and a glass in the room.
