The whole atmosphere in the hotel, it gave a really nice feeling. And it’s really closed to the Metro station. The staffs are amazingly nice, also the lobby it’s also great with all the facilities; coffee machine; water machine…

the double room is a bit small but it was fine

The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful, not too big, but good sized for Paris standards; the room was comfy and beautiful, equiped with an electric water boiler, some instant coffee and infusions for free. Location was amazing, although not in the city center, it's super well connected by metro and bus and the neighbourhood is really charming and full with shops, restaurants, cafes, etc, with local prices and excellent service (unlike touristic places in the center), so if you can eat around the hotel instead, you'll save some money, get to taste delicious food and be treated really well, like a local ;)

I go to the Boris V. for a number of years now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Regarding the rooms, I suggest you book a superior room as the standard ones are really small (like everywhere else in Paris) I like to stay on the 6th floor to have a nice view over the Paris rooftops.

In some rooms the bathroom can be rather small but very honestly, it is ok. The breakfast area is underground so I prefer to have breakfast outside, there are plenty of options in the neighborhood.

Perfect hotel for a short trip to Paris. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly, and they were able to provide anything we asked for from adapters to sewing kits to umbrellas. The reception/common area was surprising lovely, with hot drinks facilities, a bowl of pastries each day, lots and lots of books to read, tabletop football, a piano and more! The location is great, surrounded by many shops and restaurants and a metro station a few minutes walk down the road. Highly recommend Hotel Boris V and I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Paris!

My friend thought the mattress was quite hard, but this is down to personal preference and I didn't have a problem with it.

We had breakfast included which was the same dishes every day but you had everything you needed, for all tastes. We didn't stay long in the hotel but that short period of time satisfied us enough; the room was cleaned every day and the receptionist was always willing to help us. The subway station was very close which helped us a lot in the conditions in which we did not have a car. Also, besides the hotel there are all kinds of shops; from both vegan and normal food to cosmetics and personal care.

The thing I did not like instead was the interval of hours in which breakfast was held: From 7:30 to 10:30 on weekdays and on weekends until 10:00. Really I'm not a morning person and that's why it might just be a problem for me.

The room was clean and comfortable. the air conditioning and the wifi worked just fine. I had little contact with the staff, but they've been friendly and helpful. The room had many surfaces for me to spread my stuff, which was great. For one person, the bed was spacious (larger than a single bed). There was a big window to the street in my bedroom that I loved! There were a few sockets in the room, a light switch near the bed. Breakfast was hearty and varied. The hotel was a few minutes away from the subway and there were many markets and restaurantes in a 5 minute range.

I prefer harder matresses, but I think in Europe it's quite rare anyway. For two people, the bedroom would be really small, but I was alone and it suited me perfectly. Since it has only a curtain separating the shower area (which was small), the bathroom got wet. Even calm, the street can be noisy with the window open.

The location was great and I lived the fact that free coffee and water was available at the lobby.

Most of the staff were great, but on one occasion we asked the person at the reception for recommendations to have a nice dinner nearby. And the answer was: “I don’t know, I don’t live around here. I just work here.” :D i think the staff should know at least where the nearest pharmacy is or a coffee shop etc. and if they don’t, they should ask for their colleagues for help.

I really like how vintage the elevator was it was a very unique touch to the hotel. I liked how we were so close to the metro station and how the property was located in a very clean area of the city. I also loved how welcoming and friendly the staff were - they really made me feel welcome and made my stay more relaxing.

the bathroom was just too small for my liking and the showing could be updated as it was difficult to maneuver within the shower but other than that I think with more improvements to the finer details this place could become exceptional!
