Disney Sequoia Lodge

We had 2 Golden Forest club room with wonderful lake view, recently decorated. Both rooms had excellent cold mini fridges, where we could cool our drinks. Ice machine was a few doors down. Kettle & Nespresso machine. When we reported problems with our rooms twice both maintenance staff & a duty manager promptly arrived. Golden Forest Lounge has a lovely calm, cosy atmosphere & it has an extensive breakfast. Complimentary cans of soft drinks & hot drinks from 12pm until closing available in the lounge. Redwood bar is fabulous, with great staff & great cocktails. Staff in Golden Forest reception & concierge were both helpful & professional. Hotel has a fantastic position on Lake Disney with about a 15 min walk to the park.

The hotel room & Golden Forest Lounge are far too hot - mid Dec & we had to have the window open. Lack of plug sockets & some were broken, luckily we had brought a multi socket extension lead. Safe handle was missing, so it was tricky to open. One of the beds mattress was exceptionally hard.

The staff was very friendly, the the hotel was clean and they give you a variety of pillow types for the bed. I enjoyed the character selfie Spot in the hotel and the ability to have my packages sent from the park to the hotel store store. We had a drink in the bar and it was very good.

The bed was a little hard, comma and for the price I would have expected a few more amenities in the room.. We did not have even a coffee maker and the shower was equipped with only one small bottle of conditioner and the combination shower gel shampoo dispenser. And there was only one small bar of soap in the bathroom.

Overall I think this Hotel was great for the area in which it was located. Easy walking distance to the other hotels, Disney Village, and both parks. I liked the all-you-can-eat buffet and the luggage hold area. The staff was wonderful, especially at the restaurant. I loved the theming throughout the hotel it felt like a true cabin feels and was gorgeous and decorated for the Christmas season.

My only complaint would be that the hotel does need some updating room-wise. The beds were very hard to sleep in for me, though my husband liked the very firm bed. The amenities are lacking, and there were limited plugs to use for charging phones for multiple people. The room temperature was very hot and only being able to open one window of the five available in the room was unfortunate.

We travel to Disney maybe 3-4 times a year and we love Sequoia Lodge, its so close to the parks maybe a 5 min walk. The theme of the lodges were nice, it was spotless and cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The staff are absolutely amazing. It has a very relaxed atmosphere.

The Sequoia Lodge was incredibly well-themed and peaceful, especially after enduring Paris during the protests. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and in a tranquil, beautiful space. We loved being so close to the Disney parks and being able to make the short walk around the lake over to Disneyland Paris!

The rooms are a little dated and the bathroom felt small and worn. We were also frustrated by the limited number of outlets in the room and their placement. My partner and I both use CPAPs and there were no outlets by the beds which was quite frustrating. Thankfully my partner had brought an extension chord because otherwise, we would have been in trouble. I really think that a refresh and the addition of more outlets would go a long way in making this resort a more comfortable stay.

The outside of the hotel is beautiful, we enjoyed the bar and the deck, the beds were comfortable, the pool area is nice (but could use more seating), and the location is convenient to the parks and is truly what you pay for.

The room decor is outdated and really needs a fresh renovation. The hallways smelled funky. There didn't seem to be a way to eat at the hotel without paying for the buffet. There was a ton of mold in our shower as there were no exhaust fans and our sink did not drain properly.

The location is amazing and the Woodland/Forest theme is really well done. The rooms were really clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for a family of four.

it could do with a way out of the hotel at the rear for walking to the parks with buggies. there is an accessible elevator that is really small and hard to fit a double pushchair on and as it’s a family hotel there are numerous people waiting to use this one singular elevator. A walkway/ramp at the rear of the hotel would help this massively.

Rooms are beautifully decorated. We slept 3 adults in one room and we had plenty of space and undisturbed sleep! Views out of the window were lovely, very green. And the atmospheric songbirds around the grounds were delightful. Meet and greet in the hotel was an absolutely wonderful experience - especially since it was the first time in a long time we could hug the characters.

The drinks vending machines were out of order and miles away from our rooms. Our room was also a bit of a hike to the main facilities which was fine for myself, but not so great for the "more aged advanced" members of our little party! Especially in the rain!!

lovely and peaceful, initially I was dismayed at being in a lodge (in the furthest away room possible from the main building) but actually it was fantastic, no noise, no kids running past our room screaming, no people! - always a welcome but if respite from the Disney Parks! Shout out to Chris in the Bar at Sequoia who was also celebrating 30 years at DLP having been a cast member from opening day - what an asset to the company.

would have been nice to see some outdoor seating areas where you could enjoy a drink in the sun - always good to take advantage of good weather!

the location was great, we were able to walk to downtown Disney and Disneyland the trials around the hotel was fun for the kids pool they X-ray the bags before entering the building for safety breakfast was okay, it was buffet style, a little pricy but a decent variety

the property could definitely use some remodeling. the furniture is outdated. the rooms look outdated. hallways have a musty smell. carpet in the room had visible stains. grout in bathroom was dirty around the tub. low water pressure when using shower head.
