Explorers Hotel Marne-la-Vallée

The breakfast was the perfect start to our busy days at Disney. Fresh fruit, crispy croissants, eggs to order, hot coffee and more.

We ate the buffet style dinner one night and we were not satisfied with the food quality or the price.

Very family friendly, lots to do in the hotel for kids.

The shuttle bus to Disneyland is far too busy. People fighting to get on the bus and it was often full by the time it got to the hotel as ut services 5 hotels. For the number of guests the hotel should provide its own shuttle bus to and from the parks.

Plenty of facilities for the kids, this hotel has a great pool with slides and a separate play and gaming areas. The bar served a good selection of drinks and cocktails and stayed open until reasonable times and the pizza served in Narcos was fab! Rooms were clean and kids loved the themed bunk beds too.

The staff member we had during check in was very disengaged as we only spoke English and not french. We noticed he interacted really well with the family who spoke french who he checked in before us but when it became our turn he didn't interact with us or the kids very much at all. Also the food selection at breakfast is continental but it is also quite basic. If you want a cooked breakfast you have to pay extra which I found disappointing.

We needed a room big enough for 5 and this was the best value that could accommodate us. Regular shuttle service to the Disney parks all day/night; the kids loved the swimming pool & slides which were open 8am-11pm so used by us daily; indoor soft play and a great outdoor play area; a few different food options for different budgets; the room was cosy but there was a door that separated the bunk beds into another room which was spacious and handy; breakfast (although unsurprisingly samey) was plentiful and well organised. All in all, a good hotel and we'd happily stay again

Often had to wait quite a while for the lift which was a bit of a pain with a wheelchair but that's the only slight negative and really not a big deal

Pool was clean. Good choice of breakfast, Staff were friendly and helpful.

Soft play was ripped and could do with some updating. The travel cot was dirty/stained on the netting.

Staff very friendly and always helpful, amazing pool for the kids.

Clean and spacious bedrooms…the bunk beds were a huge hit with the kids. The facilities were fantastic. The pool was the highlight of the hotel…it’s like a mini water park with slides and a pirate ship in the pool. Also there is a soft play area, another pirate ship, a games room and a 6D cinema(this is extra). There is a large playground outside as well. Great location…only a 6 minute shuttle ride to Marne la Vallée station and Disneyland. Breakfast buffet was basic but nice and plentiful. There are a few options for dinner…the buffet, a pizzeria and another restaurant. The bar is well stocked but pricey. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The hotel could supply more toiletries and the coffee/tea/creamer was never replaced after day one.

So many facilities and all good condition. Water park great after a day in Disney. Breakfasts fresh and lots to choose from. If you want a cooked breakfast for a few euros you can enhance your meal. They also offer evening meals which looked great but we didn’t partake but with hindsight we should have. A lot better quality and value than Disney. Room was lovely for a family with a separate room which was perfect for nanny! Separate toilet too again good idea. Lots of entertainment for all ages. Very regular buses to train station and Disney, we never waited longer than 5 minutes. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Beds very hard, but we overcame this by sleeping on top of the duvet. However this would be challenging during colder times. We were disturbed 2 nights by staff talking below our window at about 1am, probably when their shift finished. However I realise I should have called reception to sort this out. It isn’t obvious how to sign out and I waited about 30 mins in a queue only to discover you simply drop off the room cards, I did wave them several times at the receptionist in the queue but no reaction. No air conditioning.

Our stay in Explorers Hotel was truly exceptional. The staffs were so accommodating, helpful, and kind. We were so tired from our previous trip when we checked in but THAIBUT who works on the reception area greeted us with so much joy and positivity. This made our check-in stress free. When it comes to the hotel facilities, our kids enjoy the pool, this was a plus during our entire stay. The room was also spacious for 6 persons, which we loved it so much. On the other hand, the breakfast every morning made it more extraordinary. MOHAMMED and AKEEM were so accommodating. Mohammed was very friendly, helpful and made sure that we were happy and satisfied with the services. Thank you so much. We will definitely coming back in this hotel.
