Disney Newport Bay Club

The room was amazing, massive, great location, bathroom was great with a shower and bath. Beds were super comfy. Disney character meet and greets in reception

We were woken at half 2 in morning by drilling and hammering and walky talkys in room above us and went on for about half an hour. Not enough tea and milk in room, when I asked for extra man at reception looked on computer and said but you had some put in room, left it and next day after arriving back after park it hadn't been topped up while room was cleaned so ended up ringing housekeeping for more. For price I paid I didn't expect to be challenged over asking for some extra teabags.

the hotel is huge and very nice. nice rooms with a water cooker , coffee and tea and a decent bath.

Disney is Disney. although the hotel is nice - I would normally not spend the price they are asking for . if you do a real 1 by 1 comparison between this hotel and other non Disney hotels somewhere else you would say it is totally overpriced - but as long as people are willing to pay - they will ask those prices.

Beautiful hotel with a relaxed atmosphere, nice 15 walk to the parks through Disney Village. Wonderful views of Lake Disney for lake-view rooms. Amazing swimming pool to give your feet a rest before or after a long day in the parks.

The price is too high for what you get. No usb plugs in the room. No plugs next to the bedside table. I called reception to ask for a bathrobe and they had me waiting for 1 hour.

close to Disneyland and Disney Village, nice pool, beautiful decor

Thin ceilings. People upstairs were running around at all hours.

Location. Pool hours and opening hours. Coffee and ice machines. Kettle in room. Decor was nice

Price of food and drink very expensive. staff unhelpful when looking for alternatives even though options 5 mins away. 2 bottles of water provided for 4 guests is unacceptable. Very little lounge area. Most hotels include breakfast in price of hotel.

All Staff members were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to help, we felt very welcome and very sad to leave! Our room was comfortable and a good size, the layout of the bathroom was excellent. Separating the sink and vanity area was a brilliant idea, we could still use the washing facilities and get ready to go out even when the bathroom was occupied. The breakfast was excellent, we all miss it now we are home! We also loved the buffet restaurant in the evening, lots of choice and fantastic quality. We ate at Cape Cod one evening which was amazing. Lovely communal area, and lovely outlook on to the lake.

If pushed for one small negative it would be that a minor refurbishment in the rooms might be in order, but it wouldn't stop me from returning as it the whole experience was absolutely brilliant!

Newport Bay is a fantastic hotel for everyone visiting disneyland. It's a perfect location onsite allowing access to parks 1 hour earlier with magic passes. Really fantastic facilities with indoor and outdoor pools. The staff were very friendly and there was a great happy atmosphere in the hotel. A really happy place and very safe.

We stayed in superior room which was lovely but I didn't have a fridge. The only other down side was there was only 1 small lift from ground floor to 1st floor which does not serve the volume of people in the hotel

This hotel is amazing. I have been able to stay in most of the disney hotels and can easily say this is my favourite so far. It's easy to navigate as long as you know which side of the hotel you are staying in. The walk from the hotel to the disney village/parks is easy and we found ourselves doing this instead of using the shuttle every day. I can highly suggest this hotel for anyone although if you want the hotel to feel very disney this would not be the one

Personally the only thing I didn't like was that the shuttles weren't as frequent as could be (so when trying to get to the train station instead of the parks we couldn't get there without having to walk through the village and having to go through security with our suitcases)

Excellent location, extraordinarily beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. Soft beds, a pleasure to rest after a day spent at Disneypark. The bathroom and wardrobe are large and clean. There is a hair dryer and clothes iron.

There is no refrigerator! A corner for tea and coffee is provided, but they were only the support and not the teapot. It would be better for the image of the hotel if they provided some slippers, shampoo and other small items for the bathroom.

Very friendly lady on check in, no queue at all and let us have our room early. Great location for walking to Disney and view over the lake to Disneyland. Pool was lovely. Had room service which was nice.

Could have been a bit more for kids to do when not at Disneyland, a small playpark, games room or something. No where to buy food could do with small shop to get snacks and drinks. There was a boutique which sold a few drinks at a very high price. We didn’t try the restaurant on site as very limited menu and mainly fish which we don’t eat. Air con in room was freezing the first night we were there and couldn’t turn temp up or turn it off. Cleaners kept coming into room while we were still in bed in the morning. Hotel was very expensive for what it was but I guess you are paying a premium for being near the Disney parks. All TV channels were in French would have been good to have a couple in other languages.
