Hotel Le Saint Gregoire

Hotel staff are wonderful. They are friendly, attentive to guests, and helpful with every aspect of our stay. The hotel is in a great location to see Paris, whether by taking public transit or walking. The rooms are clean and comfortable, as well as spacious which is rare in Paris. The Double Room is large and the Terrace Room has a lovely outdoor patio. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Overall, we had a great stay. There were a few concerns. It is a classic building so noise travels easily throughout the hotel. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend earplugs. The bathroom is well-equipped. The shower could be more convenient if the shower head was on a holder that bends, instead of being fixed to the wall. The showerhead must be used as a handheld. Lastly, the Wi-Fi connection can be spotty / go out. These were small issues and did not significantly impact our stay.

Everything! First impression was the staff, they were so kind and polite. Next was the reception area, it was clean and tidy, they also have a coffee machine (which is really good) and a tiny backyard to spend some time. Reception staff were able to arrange an early check-in for me as I arrived earlier and provided me with a city map which was helpful. The room was very fresh and clean, everything was there. Bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable to sleep in. We wrote a note that we wanted a room on the top floor and they were able to arrange it for us, so we enjoyed the view of the top of Eiffel tower in the evenings. The location was very livable, there are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby, a shopping centre is 7min by walk and Luxembourg park is 10min by foot. Although, there many places to eat and drink, the street is always quite, no noise at all. We have a wonderful stay there!

We don’t have a thing that we don’t like there.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and the location of this hotel is great. Local restaurants, cafes and bars within 3 minutes walking distance. 15 minute walk from Bon Marche and excellent metro/bus connections. There is a lovely lounge area with a fire in the winter where you can relax or have a glass of wine. The rooms were spacious for Paris with excellent facilities and wonderful beds and bedlinen ! Also, fantastic air conditioning which was essential in 34 degrees heat. Very quiet street as well. Plenty of storage space for clothes.

There was nothing we didn't like but would like to suggest the addition of a mini fridge in the room.

The staff were helpful and location was great for food and metro.

Our view was into a wall and courtyard. Air conditioner was not working properly and the cupboards were old and not functioning properly.

The hotel has a charming lobby and coffee area. Our room was fine, an older carpet but decorated with flowered curtains and paintings, even a real orchid. The breakfast area is a little strange - down in the basement. The staff felt a bit distant. It is weird that you have to give them the key to your room and pick it back up when you return. The 6th floor room we stayed in had a little sliver view of the Eiffel tower, that we noticed at night.

The staff could have been a bit more friendly and more inviting with the space. It was not clear if you could hang out in the lobby or whether you could help yourself to the espresso machine in the corner.

Charming small hotel that felt like a home away from home. Not super close to the main tourist sights (around 20 mins walk from Eiffel Tower etc) but very well located for metro and bus, and several nice cafes, restaurants and shops within a couple of minutes. It was nice to be in a not obviously touristy part of town. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, cozy lobby area where our kids hung out after checkout while the husband and I ran a last-minute errand before leaving for the airport. Our rooms on the ground floor were spacious and right next to each other, overlooking a tiny green courtyard.

This was a great hotel; it is tucked away in back streets of Paris with lots of bars and places to eat around it. There is a Metro station and bus stops only a 5 min walk from the front door. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast was a great start to the day in the cellar room. The bed was the best, it was very comfortable and was hard to leave in the morning. Staff arranged for a taxi for us and told us exactly when he was coming to collect us. The rooms are decorated with Parisian flare and just make staying there all that more special.

Nothing to complain about.

Amazing place to stay at the heart of Paris. Subway, great cafes and main sightseeings are right after the corner. At the same time hotel is on the quite street, almost without traffic. Parking is nearby too. Cozy, warm numbers, simple but very tasty breakfast, amazing people who work in this hotel makes you feel like at home. Also it is allowed staying with animals. So, our dog feelt himself comfortable and welcome. Special thanks for Liliya (lady who works in the hotel) for help and great conversation. Definetely would like to come back in future!

The hotel is super well located and extremely charming. It's clean and simple but with some nice touches/aesthetics that really make you feel like you're in Paris. Staff are super friendly.

No fridge in the room but reception were happy to keep my medications in a fridge downstairs. One staff member charged us 5 euro for a small bottle of water. The night after we realised the other staff member could just give us different branded bottles of water that were free. All in all, no big deal.

I felt very well looked after, thank you to the team at hotel Saint Grégoire. I was offered a choice of rooms which was nice. And the option of a fridge in my room was great. The decor was lovely, the hotel felt cared for and loved. I'm gluten free so wasn't able to eat breakfast. Hard to find a good gluten free croissant even in Paris! I had fun searching.

I'd love to come back. It was at the top of my price range and that may be tricky depending on season, but I will come back I hope.
