Bonséjour Montmartre

Very friendly and efficient staff. Room was cleaned every day. Location was excellent if you want to be in Montmartre. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast all 4 mornings, of coffee, tea, eggs, yogurt and an abundance of baked goods.

The rooms are small, but not unexpected. The only issue we had was a frosted window from the bathroom lit up the room if one used the facilities during the night. It was odd to have a window there and totally unnecessary.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and speak fluent english. Our room was clean and neat with all the basics (kettle, coffee/tea, soap, towels etc.). The location is great, close to the Montmartre cathedral, with infinite restaurants in the vacinity.

There is a bar across the road that was a bit noisy at night with the window open. With the window closed it was fine, but a bit warm, we only discovered the fan in the closet as we were leaving.

Nothing of major consequences. The safe needed batteries n the gentleman on reception didn’t help. If you have a safe it would be nice to use. However I felt hotel was secure n safe. Extractor needed cleaning but the rest of the room was VERY VERY clean. Small Light in bathroom didn’t work. Like I said trivialities. No a/c but huge windows n 2 very good fans

The room was bright & airy & we were lucky to have a balcony with a small table & chairs. We used the balcony to have dinner & drinks a few times & it was a nice outlook. The wifi was a bit slow but did work. They let us store our bags until check-in time at no extra cost. The hotel is in an excellent location with plenty of cafes & restaurants 2 minute walk & the choice of 2 train stations about 5-10 minutes walk away. Sacre-Couer is also only about 10 minutes up the hill.

Below our balcony on the opposite corner was a small pub. The patrons stayed here until after midnight & spilled out onto the road so it was quite noisy.

This is a very good budget hotel. The rooms are small (though I've stayed in smaller in Paris!) but have everything you need and good facilities - shower, bed and tv all very functional (although note the tv doesn't have much in the way of English-speaking channels!). The location is also really nice, just enough off the beaten track while easy to get around, not too busy and with a great pub across the road. It took about 20mins to walk from Gare du Nord.

Whilst the pub across the road is a lovely place to hang out in the evening before (or after!) dinner, it can be noisy late into the night!

The Staff is very friendly and Check-in went well. We arrived about 1100 and very much appreciated being able to store our luggage, while we went out and started our sightseeing. The room was surprisingly located behind the reception desk. The nighttime street noise can be a little loud, but we all agreed that we still managed to sleep well. The Abessess and Blanche metro lines are easily accessible from this location. There are lots of stores and restaurants located on the streets adjacent to the hotel's location. There is a mini mart located right across the street for purchasing of snacks/drinks.

There are no irons/ironing boards in the rooms, which is fine. We had to iron in a little room, that was a bit cluttered. The bathroom was tiny, but doable. Also the opaque glass window in the bathroom wall, might not be to everyone's liking.

The location was perfect for us! I wanted to be in Montmartre close enough to walk everywhere and Rue Burq was perfect. We loved watching the neighborhood activity from our balcony. The staff was always friendly and helpful😊

We had a problem with the lights in the bathroom going out. They tried to address the problem while we were there but they kept going out.

The location was amazing and you are around the heart of the city. You step out and look to your left or right and what a decision you have to make. The housing was just fantastic and not expensive. I mean not expensive. It’s Paris

Nothing ! The location was on point, and fantastic. It’s Paris and have fun. Cheaper than a Motel 6. Please have fun.

Great hotel in a wonderful neighbourhood! The room was clean, cosy and nice. The staff were so kind and polite! Outside you can feel the spirit of Paris and it so pleasant! Great location near the metro! We have excellent 4 days there!

May be a little bit cold in the night.

The hotel is in the middle of Montmartre, a beautiful neighborhood with a rich history of artists and writers. It's close to Sacre Couer, which is a must-see (go early to beat the crowd). The hotel is near a bar which is noisy at nights. It didn't bother me since I don't mind city noise, but if you're a light sleeper, download a noise app.

The rooms weren't anything special, but good enough for the price/neighborhood. Street is a bit noisy at night but that's hard to avoid anywhere in central Paris.
