Hôtel Beauquartier Moulin Rouge - Ex goldhotel

Usually I don't write the reviews, but just had to make an exception this time :). I stayed in the hotel with my son and wife in Aug '23, in a triple room on 1st floor. We all easily agreed that this has been our best city break experience so far. Everything related to this hotel simply exceeded out expectations, The location is just excellent, right in the middle of Boulevard de Clichy, just across The Moulin Rouge and metro station. Before the trip we had our doubts related to staying at Paris red light district, but we quickly figured out that we were wrong. All the time during our stay we felt very safe, even during the evenings and nights. Sure, there are some sex shops and strip bars, but you should just treat them as part of the history of this place. The boulevard and neighboring streets are crowded with bars and restaurants which are full of tourists and young people having fun, but we couldn't here any of the noise in our room. The room was not spacious but also definitely not cramped, and it had everything that you may wish for. It had three large, single beds which were very comfortable, and was equipped with huge smart TV, fridge, safe, coffee maker, excellent Wi-Fi, and even a wireless phone charger. Bathroom was comfortable and clean, with a shower and hair dryer. The room and the whole hotel were very clean and tidy, bed sheets being changed daily. Initially, we didn't plan to have breakfast at the hotel, but we decided to try it out on the first morning and were pleasantly surprised, so we decided to keep having it for the rest of our stay. I won't go into much details, but just say that it was delicious, probably the best option that you can find around. Finally, I have to mention the hotel staff which were all very pleasant and eager to help us in any way they could (they didn't hesitate to speak English with us, which is sadly not always the case in France). Overall, the hotel is simply 10/10.

The hotel elevator is probably the smallest one that you will ever encounter in your life. It literally has enough space just for one person and a suitcase :). This didn't really bother us since we were on the 1st floor, but I assume that it could be a problem if you are staying in one of the top floors (3rd or higher).

Very good location. Too close to Moulin Rouge and Montmartre. The room was rather spacious (I compare with Parisian hotels there you can have a room super small). Breakfast was also good.

The room 114 was just above the breakfast terrace(terrace was on the 1st floor, the room was on the 2nd floor). The temperature was extremely hot. There was no conditioner in the room so one decision was to open the window. And every morning at 7 am we heard the serving of the table and voice of personal and people who came for breakfast. The view from the room was on backyard with breakfast terrace and walls (photo attached).

the location - metro, bus stops, taxi stand, varieties of good restaurants, fastfood & coffee shops were all around the corners of the hotel. their room was very nice & clean with complete & clean facilities. the staff were very friendly & accomodating from receptionist to housekeeping. plus, we appreciate much their unlimited free coffee with variety sorts - capuccino, etc. & tea! they have a beautiful cozy lounge & a very decent, nice & clean smoking area for smokers just inside the hotel so you dont need to go out.

nothing but please keep in mind to come at the stated checkin time if you dont like to wait because this hotel is always busy. but whats nice is that they can keep your luggage in case you come earlier. there's a lot of nice places beside & around the hotel anyway to hang out with or do sightseeing walks while waiting for the checkin time.

It's very simple but very comfortable for what travelers needs a good sleeping nights in a clean bed and hot showers. Great location just beside Blanche metro station so you will be anywhere around Paris in 30 minutes. The differential is.the staff very friendly and helpful. For turists on a budget this is the place.

We stayed here from 1 till 2 august. We where happily suprised by the service and the comfortnes. Afterwards they told us they where just open for a week now, we where in shock because nothing seems like they just opened, they run the hotel like its there second nature. Its also a verry nice place in front of the Montmartre en the metro station, we highly recommend this hotel if you want to have a comfortable stay in Paris☺️

Room was very clean, staff were very friendly on reception. Location close to Blanche metro station to access Paris sights, easy access to Montmartre on foot (if you don’t count the steps). Dead opposite Moulin rouge in Pigalle so mix of busy bars and restaurants interspersed with sex shops! Location felt safe though.

Room was small but late booking and good price explains that.

The location of the hotel is great, there were lots of cafes, restaurants and bakeries around, and also the metro station is so close to the hotel. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. I could rate the hotel 10/10 because of them.

The room is a bit smaller than expected, and could be cleaner.

Very close to transport. Although noisy outside - when windows closed -was very quiet

Could only get French speaking TV. Sometimes even on holidays it’s nice to come back and relax and watch a bit of TV. Not all tourists speak French so would have been nice to at least be able to use English sub-titles

Property was very clean so close to Moulin Rouge, so close to the metro station and fabulous food and drink places. Staff were 10/10

A little hot, the hotel did provide a fan. Air con would have been a dream. A little noisy outside, the hotel did provide ear plugs. Can’t help it due to location.

Great location and a nice clean modern hotel, helpful and friendly staff! I was able to store my luggage for a few hours after checking out so I didn’t have to carry them around all day.

No complaints for a one night stay.
