1. The staff is friendly and very helpful. 2. Breakfast is quite decent, but I only had it once. 3. The location is quiet even though there are 2 bars on the block. 4. Walking distance to Garnier Opera, Musée du Louvre, Latin Quarter, and St Michel. 5. The Korean restaurant across the street has great food. If you get hungry past midnight, walk 12-15 minutes to restaurants that are open late. Use your Google map. 6. If you need to get to Gare Lyon, the easiest, cheapest, and fastest way is to walk to the Pyramide metro station and take the metro heading to Olympiades. Get off on the 2nd stop at Gare Lyon. 7. Buy the weekly metro pass for €22.50 8. I highly recommend the Musée du Louvre. If you want to see the Mona Lisa, there usually is a long queue. I also recommend booking the Eiffel Tower tour with a lift. The 1st lift takes you to the 2nd level. Then you'll have to switch to another lift to go up the summit. If you are able, take the steps from the 2nd floor. Lastly, see the Château Versailles. Have lunch in the town and don't forget to get dessert from one of the patisseries. The best train to take is the L train from Saint to Lazare. You will need to buy a separate ticket to Versaille for <€3 one way.

1. Though I didn't mind, the elevator is like a capsule. Don't use it if you are claustrophobic. It only fits one suitcase and 1 normal-size person. 2. The walls are not sound-proofed so don't be surprised if you hear whatever is going on next door or upstairs. 3. The drinks in the fridge are not free. The price list is on top of the fridge. 4. My room only had 1 electrical socket so make sure your charger has surge protection and multiple ports.

The room was not the one shown in the pictures, it was much smaller and with a tiny window. Disappointing. Booking should show the actual room one will get and not just a random photo. Also, no apertures nor mechanical ventilation in the toilet, which created a bit of discomfort. Hence, considering all that, it was a bit overpriced.

Super central, very clean and room warm and quality furniture and bedding. I had a great sleep one morning until 9.05 without realizing! Receptionist guys are also helping with suggestions and not at all formal, that for central Paris is not usual. Top is the Korean restauruant (suggested) just infront of the hotel (20 mt) which you must go to, outstanding dinner, but book in advance. Also there is a gym at 30 mt where I also got a yoga class only for 10€.

fantastic location, cosy room with working heater.

size of the room to the small side. we have to squeeze space to open up our 4 luggages. communication need to be improved. we thought the taxi fare was to be paid to the driver, we passed to the driver and he thought it was his tips! luckily when we asked for the change, he said the fare was to be collected by the hotel. imagine if we did not ask for the change , I will need to pay Euro 85 to the driver and hotel .

Very comfortable beds, and the location is superb! About a 2-3 min walk to the metro, then you can get most places in city center in 10-15 min. My room was spotless and good value for the money. Nice little mini bar complete with mostly non-alcoholic beverages, plus 2 beers. The staff was wonderful! Very welcoming and accommodating. I arrived around 11am and couldn't check in until 3pm as my room was not ready but they stored my luggage for me while I went for lunch and wandered around. My French is limited, but they all spoke English. The night before check out, the concierge called to ask if I would like to arrange a taxi for transport in the morning. Such wonderful service! I would definitely stay here again!

The best part was the location and the staff. Super central, 2 minutes away from lane 7 of metro. In walking distance from the Louvre. The staff offers recommendations eagerly, prints a little list of nice places to go wine and dine at. Very lovely view from the rooms too. We got a corner room, it was fantasticly romantic! And the heating is working perfectly, we were visiting in February and felt nice and cozy in the room.

We've noticed quite a lot of dust on the hair-dryer that was quite disgusting to touch. It's a quick fix but would elevate the overall picture. The furniture in the room is a little worn around the corners because of age.

A 3-starts hotel in Paris is always a jump into the unknown. This one is the exception confirming the rule. Beside the curiosity of having the smallest lift I have ever seen in my life, (look at the picture!) the room was big, comfy, well equipped, with a double big, comfortable bed, clean. Bathroom brand new, clean and well equipped too. Safe brand new and easy to use. Reception guys nice, efficient and smiling. What else?

The window room was to an inner court, then not very clear. But since this is the building structure, the hotel cannot help a lot on improving that.

I loved the staff & the location. They were very friendly & helpful. The hotel was a 15 minute walk to the Louvre but the area itself is full of restaurants & shops. The air conditioning was GREAT! If you are plus size the shower might be a little tricky getting in & out but the water pressure from both the wand & rainfall were wonderful. Make sure when you visit Europe (Americans) that you bring smaller compact luggage. Many times the elevators are tiny because they built them in between a winding staircase.

I asked for a feather free room & one pillow was feather. That's the only reason to knock off a star.

The hotel was really central to everything. I was able to walk to most of the major attractions and Opera station was around 150m from the hotel with great access to all forms of public transport that was very easy to use too. The room was lovely, great lighting, coffee machine, fridge and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was lovely, so well appointed, great size and the shower was great. The staff were lovely and friendly at all times. The lift was bijoux, it is tiny, but it is an old building so I choose to view it as an attraction rather than an issue. I felt completely safe staying here as a solo female traveller. There is a little supermarket on the same street, really helpful staff in there too. Had everything you need.

Nothing, it was all great.

Location: very convenient. Central location and walking distance to Musee du Louvre, Notre Dame, Lafayette etc. Close to the metro. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The room is spacious considering it's in Paris where rooms are usually small. The staff there are all very helpful and friendly.

The elevator is very small and can only fit 2 people so we took the stairs instead of taking the elevator most of the time. The carpet is quite outdated and can see stains on it. The washroom arrangement is a little awkward. The toilet is on one side of the room with no sink. And the sink and bathtube/shower is on the other side of the room. So every time you finish using the toilet you have to walk over to the other side of the room to wash your hands. lol
