Hôtel France d'Antin Opéra

I liked the fact that the room color scheme was lovely, it was high up with view over the quiet street, there was a ledge to sit out on, there was a bathtub, a good TV, not much noise from other guests, a den below street level with good exhaust and air con where you can take your breakfast to while watching the BBC news, and enjoying a cigarette after with your morning coffee. The elevator is tiny but fun to use, the staff assisted with anything you needed. There is a very attractive breakfast room with many nice things to fill up on, yogurts, cereals, fruit, juices, cappuccinos, fresh pastries and bread with 3 different jams and nice service from the attendant present. Is that enough info to encourage a visit? I hope so

There was nothing I didnt like.

The location was very handy to the Opera area and metro lines but easy walking distance to so many large department stores and shops. The staff were truly exceptional. Nothing was ever too difficult and everything was with a smile. They made us feel totally relaxed and helped us with directions, taxis etc. The two person we dealt a lot with were at the service desk and the breakfast room. The two main people there They were so friendly and really caring. They spoke English exceptionally well and showed real interest in us

The room lighting could ideally have been better as no central ceiling light only two bedside lights and a pedestal lamp .

Excellent location - this was the most important thing! Staff is very friendly. Comfortable room. Good breakfast at an accessible price (although not self-service / buffet, the table service was OK - there is a pre-defined menu / sequence). Most hotels in this area do not offer good breakfast, so we were pleased with what was offered.

Small room, old building, with some noises from the street. Nevertheless, we loved our stay! Again, the hotel has an awesome location - very close to the Metro / subway (lines 3, 7 and 8), so you won't have problems in finding your way throughout the city!

Great location, very clean, nicely decorated rooms with good quality products (l’occitane shower gel-shampoo). We found a handwritten welcome note upon arrival together with two bottles of water and some lovely macarons. Kind and helpful stuff were a plus. Totally recommended for a cozy stay near the opera!

The sofa in our room was a bit small even for a 5yo and the mattress not of great quality. However it was clean and the housekeeper had installed a bed guard to prevent our son from falling off the sofa during the night. Just a little thing for parents to take under consideration but everything else was great.

Friendly and helpful staff since day one. Helped us with taxis and with informations about the city. Really nice location and close to some attractions and different metro station lines, what was quite helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and also have a good space for two. We got a room with windows towards the street what was nice. Has a small lift that helps with the luggage.

The are one room per floor that stays really close to the stairs, don’t know how it works with the noise of people going up and down. The hotel room has carpet, but seemed quite clean. Bedroom keys obsolete.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel as it was situated near to the areas we visited. The hotel was clean and inviting. The woman that takes care of the breakfast is an absolute sweetheart! We missed her on her days off. Her replacement was far from friendly and never got out juice and tea request correct.

We were unaware that we charged for our afternoon hot chocolates until check out. Given the amount of money paid for the ten days stay it seemed a little excessive to charge us for a few beverages.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially the receptionist on night duty (Epaulet?) who had to manage reception, oversee the bar and also helped us with an issue in the room. All were done with a positive attitude and a big smile. We received some complimentary confectionery as it was my husband's birthday so that was much appreciated. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very classy and although it was quite small, all space was made use of in an elegant and effective way. The breakfast was simple but very nice. All pastries and bread, tasted fresh. The location was excellent.

We would have liked a better selection of TV channels so there was at least one channel for kids, or Netflix. There was no kettle in the room.

Adorable room in Central Paris, far beyond our expectations. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, we arrived a few hours too early so our room was not ready yet but the reception took care of our bags and made sure they got to the room. Cleaning was spotless and the cleaning staff were so sweet especially to our little baby. I'm not sure but think her name was Fernande who was the sweetest lady ever. Travelling with a baby can surely be stressful we came to realise however the staff made us feel very welcome and not at all like it was an issue being a family in the hotel. Bonus for Christmas period, the little lobby is gorgeous with Christmas decoration

The hotel is pretty small, of course there is nothing that can be done about it, however the elevator is super tiny, old buildings are quirky that way. Not a major issue as we could leave our stroller in the luggage room so have no complains about it, but booking asked for something negative and that is all I could come up with so all in all... not a bad place for a weekend in Paris

Everything! The location, the bed, the pillows, the towels, the bath. Most especially though, the staff. Sebastian, Alexandra and Louis, as well as the night shift fellow whose name I forgot to ask, were great! They were very welcoming, warm and engaging. You can tell that the interactions were not forced nor scripted because each of them had their own way of making guests feel welcome and at ease. I felt like whatever I needed, they were there to help. The rooms were cleaned everyday, fresh fluffy towels daily, and the toiletries were divine (L’occitane). I just loved my stay so much This is my sixth time in Paris and I’ve stayed in as many hotels. And by far, this is the best.

If I had to nitpick, i have to mention the noise from the adjoining rooms. Also, to get to my room, i had to open a main door which leads to three or four different rooms. Everytime someone comes in through that main door and closes it, air is sort of sucked in causing the doors to rattle loudly, enough to wake you up.

Wonderful stay, I highly recommend the hotel. All the staff, from the reception desk, to the breakfast staff or the cleaning staff was wonderful, nice, warm, highly careful and so, so friendly. Every one was very keen to resolve all our questions and demands, welcoming every morning or afternoon with a smile and a good word. If you want to enjoy and experience the French Touch - from the elegant rooms very tasty decorated (we have 2 junior suites), to the very French Breakfast (the breakfast is continental: with croissants -delicious, pain au chocolat, baguette,jam), Hotel France d'Antin Opera is the perfect place. Around the hotel you will find many nice and delicious Japanese restaurants, but also a lot of other restaurants (French Cuisine, Chinese, Korean and a Breton creperie). The hotel is located very close to Opera, Grand Boulevards), Musee du Parfum and my beloved Rex cinema. If you want to taste Parisian style, Hotel France d'Antin Opera is a perfect place.
