Hotel style is different and staff were lovely. Location was well connected and you have great views of the Eiffel tower from the end of the street. As expected in Paris everything is quite small and compact but it met our needs and was OK value for money given the alternative.

Breakfast was in the basement which was actually a bit sad on a sunny day. Its the thing that let our stay down and we wished we had just gone out to a cafe. There was a strange TV channel on all the time and hostess standing with nothing to do. Kind of an uncomfortable atmosphere for the very small room of 4 tables and food was basic.

The front desk staff were incredible. They were understanding and patient while I sorted out payment issues on my side. They also let me have an early check in as I had just arrived from a long flight from Shanghai.

The breakfast room's atmosphere is strange. There is someone lurking behind the blinds in the kitchen. The room doesn't seat many people so you need to make sure you get there super early. I arrived about 20 minutes after breakfast started and the guests / staff just stared at me as there wasn't an obvious place to sit down. There was one woman sitting at a table for 4 that refused to let me sit with her.

The man at reception greeted us warmly and told us our room was ready before our check-in time. Everything was explained well about getting to the room, breakfast, etc. (All staff we encountered at reception spoke English well--much better than our French.) The elevator was small but adequate for two people and luggage. Our room was the same. It was compact, but the space was used well. We had all needed amenities, a comfortable bed, and a good breakfast. We even had a window that opened to a quiet area so we could get fresh air and see the buildings on the adjoining street. Most important of all was the location. It was in a wonderful area of the city, just around the corner from delightful restaurants and shops. A few more steps away, and we came to the museums and beautiful plaza with views of the Eiffel Tower. The area was lively, friendly, and beautiful, yet the hotel was quiet and restful.

More space in the bedroom and bathroom would be nice, but the room size was typical of European hotels. The shower stall was tricky to enter and exit safely.

I would like to leave a review for this hotel. My child and I checked into the hotel on July 17th for two nights. Today we spent a day in the hotel and I have something to share. First, the staff at the hotel is very friendly, pleasant, always help and prompt. The hotel administrator is a professional, he was able to help with many questions remotely even before check-in! The hotel itself is small, the room was also small, it was not very convenient in the toilet, but we managed to adapt. Towels and linens were clean and smelled good. The room was clean. There was a lot of soap and products for the body and hair, it pleased. In other hotels where we were on the soap saved. Regarding breakfast, the room where breakfast is served is also small, if you want to retire, it will not work. Everyone sits close to each other. From the hot food was: scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. Sausage cuts, cheese, vegetable salad, yogurt, muesli, bread, buns and croissants. Tea, coffee, juice, milk. In principle, breakfast is normal, it is a pity that there were no vegetables: cucumber, tomato and pepper. The buffet has very friendly staff, there was a girl in stylish round glasses who smiled and always helped when something was not clear to us. I was surprised by the Russian channel on TV TVRUS. In conclusion, I can say the following: the hotel is good. Internet for 12 points, cleanliness - 12, amenities - 12 (within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe). I am satisfied with my stay in this hotel. If you are not looking for a luxury hotel and large apartments, you want to spend the night, relax and go for a walk in beautiful Paris, then this hotel will thrill you. My recommendations!

The staff was friendly & helpful. They made us feel welcome & were attentive to our needs. It was a great location on a quiet street with a convenience store nearby. The beds were comfortable & the rooms were clean. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The shower/tub was tall & hard to climb in & out for someone with a disability. However, we had 2 rooms & the other had a step in shower. Be sure to request a room based on your needs.

The closeness to major attractions and good restaurants and the metro. I also liked the family style of the property. I stayed at the property thirteen years ago and came back because of the experience we had.

The garbage pails were so small that they filled up too quickly. I had complimentary breakfast when we stayed there back in 2010 and thought that I would get that again this time. but heard that we would have to pay for it so we did not partake of the breakfast at the property.

The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to both Trocadero and Etoile. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The room was too warm overnight and the air conditioning seemed to be stuck at 19c. Although we were on the ground floor, we decided to open the window which opened fully rather than partially. I would suggest having some sort of secure fixing put on the window.

Definitely, the staff. Especially, the house keeping and “breakfast” ladies. Super friendly and ready to help. The bed was quite comfortable and it was made daily for us. The breakfast was delicious and had quite a good selection.

Everything was mega compact (i.e., super small). To be fair, like most things in Paris, however, you expect your hotel to be your home away from home. In this case, it was difficult for me as I could barely fit in the bathroom (rather tall and with a few extra kg), so even going #1 was a complete odessy.

Location is in the expensive Trocadero area of Paris between two main streets going towards the Eiffel tower. While not 'deluxe' by any means this place can be considered a 'bargain' for this high-end area. Small, basic but comfortable room in a narrow building with elevator. Up to date bathroom facilities but a very small shower cubicle with a hand-held device. Breakfast in the very cool basement was full, very good, but not cheap. A Carrefour mkt. down the block for odds and ends. Brasseries and pizza places - both restaurants and takeaway -nearby. Cheapest eats is a sandwich shop on Kleber about a block away which has baguettes, coffee and pastry for 'normal' prices (Pom a Pan?). Considering the Sofitel Hotel is listing a room for 750 Euros a night around the corner (though of course. that is in a different league), whatever you pay here is a great deal for the location. Nice, friendly staff. Small and recommendable. Ideal for solo travelers. Oh and the bed had reading lights!

I wish the breakfast was cheaper, but by this time I was watching my centimes (long story). Recommendable all the same. This small hotel might not be for those looking for a pure 'bargain' or large family groups.
