Hôtel Raphael

Very nice family room — connected with 2 living areas. Lots of room for our family of 5. 3 kids stayed in room with double and they brought in an extra bed. the extra bed was comfy instead of a cot or sofa sleeper!

Their “breakfast” is lacking. I would not pay to include the breakfast again. It only includes hot drinks, cereal and pastries. Anything else is an additional charge so we ended up paying an extra $160 for the “included” breakfast to get cold cuts and fresh fruit daily.

The stay in the Hotel Raphael was a great experience. This was the gift to my parents, I wanted them to feel the atmosphere of Paris and they did. I informed the hotel staff that it was a gift to my parents and asked them to select the best possible available room. When we came we were surprised in a good way: the hotel welcomed us with the bottle of champagne, marmelade, fruits and French cookies.. This was so sweet! The hotel has antique furniture of Louis XV and Louis XVI periods and the atmosphere was very French indeed. The rooms were wide and had lots of space, everything was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in a very center: in 5-min. walk to the Triumphal Arch. So these are the memories which will stay with me and my parents for a long time:)

The location is excellent. The hotel is a block away from the Arc de Triomphe. There is a Metro station right in from of the hotel. The hotel decor is rich and elegant. The breakfast buffet had many choices of great food. The last time were stayed there was before the pandemic, and this time it seemed the hotel had been well-cared for. We had a great suite consisting of a bedroom and a sitting room, both elegantly furnished. We can’t wait to go back.

The wood-framed elevator was squeaky going up and down. We actually though it was amusing and took videos of our “journeys,”

I told the hotel that I was proposing to my girlfriend in front of the Arc De Triomphe and they went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcome, including putting us in a beautiful room facing the Eiffel Tower and leaving flower petals on our bed. Incredible staff and a wonderful atmosphere that feels truly Parisian.

The location is perfect, plus you need to travel Paris via the metro, easiest and cheapest way to get around, there is a metro stop right outside and another around the corner on the Champs Elysees (George V). Another amazing benefit of the location is walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, some amazing and very reasonable restaurants too. The hotel itself is palatial, my room was perfect, (executive suite), everything I could have wanted and more, lovely bottle of champagne awaiting for me on arrival too; the staff were excellent and friendly, exceptional staff and a beautiful hotel, would stay again.

the staff was so friendly and informative! They made me feel extremely safe and were so accommodating. Truly enjoyed my stay and even celebrated my birthday upon arrival. Would definitely come back again .

I loved everything about this hotel. Just make sure if you don’t want housekeeping coming in daily , don’t forget to put the sign out front. Otherwise, they will definitely knock to come in!

The Raphael is a wonderful reminder of what hospitality is meant to be. Our suite was not available when we arrived, but the receptionist more than made up for it by treating us to champagne at The English Bar while they sorted it out. Once we got to the suite, we were blown away by how spacious and beautifully-appointed it was. We were welcomed with a personal note, a fresh flower arrangement, and French macarons which went very well with the complimentary capsule coffees. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The bathroom is designed in the classic style, but with modern conveniences. We loved the Bottega Venetta amenities and the exceptionally plush robes and towels. The true showstopper is the terrace, which gives us views of both the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. We treated ourselves to room service breakfast on our last morning and brought the food out onto the terrace where we enjoyed the view and the cool Paris air. Everyone - from the concierge, to the doorman, to the receptionist, and room service staff - went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and to assist us with our needs. Kudos to the Raphael team. It was a truly special stay that was worthy of our first holiday since the pandemic started. It is not cheap, but they made us feel that every euro spent was worth it. We will definitely come back, and will definitely want to stay in the same suite, albeit during the warmer seasons.

Minor issues, such as the hot water being unavailable for a few hours due to maintenance works were handled well by giving us advance notice, so we were able to adjust accordingly. These hiccups do not take away anything from the positive experience of our stay.

Everything is great! I would like to go back as soon as possible.
