Hôtel Joséphine by Happyculture

The hotel has an exellent location, close to all Paris sights. We walked every day to the direction of the Louvre, Sena... This is a Montmartre area, so there are many restaurants and cozy French bistros, Starbuck's. The Blanche subway station is in the corner of the Blanche Rue. You can also visit Gustave Moro Museum with the amathing painting exhibition, which is located in this neighborhood. This is a convenient location for tourists. The staff was very friendly, and you can find a receptionist all day and at night too. The breakfast was good and so French! You can choose cheese, omelet, sosidges, croissants and pastry.

The very-very small room! The bed takes up the entire room. We couldn't go to the window. It was tight for the two of us. This Blanche street is overcrowded, so it was noisy at night.

Great location (3 min walking from Blanche station, bus stop nearby, we took bus 30 (pigalle) on our way back from the Eiffel Tower, 3 min walking from moulin rouge. Great area to walk around in the evening/night! Very comfortable bed, lots os pillows and blankets were very soft..great shower and body wash/shampoo/conditioner..very clean room! Staff was very helpful! Lots of places to eat around the area: cafes, burgers, bakeries and a grocery store. There’s a kettle in the room that you can take complimentary coffee/tea, there’s also a coffee and water machine downstairs that we use to fill up our water bottles all the time. (Has also the option of sparkling water). We got a really nice welcoming gift waiting for us at the room: a note and some really nice chocolate. After checking out we just wanted to have breakfast around the area before heading to the airport and they safely stored our luggage until we got back. We really enjoy our stay! Will definitely come back!

Everything was great!

The staff were exceptional - I had a chat with all of the staff, mostly to practice my French, but they were smiley, engaging, I felt at home from the second I walked in. The decoration is superb, reminiscent of a classic Parisienne boutique or something. The location is great, very close to the Moulin Rouge and subway stations and coffee shops neraby.

The room was quite small and I had problems with my large suitcase. The shampoo was empty when I arrived - not normally an issue but my suitcase was delayed and I had no toiletries of my own! Also, the shower didn't close properly so the bathroom floor got a bit wet.

The room was spacious enough for 3 people, 2 adults and a child. The bathroom was spacious, too. The shower was amazing. Towels were changed daily, and beds made too. Free coffee and tea in the foyer of the hotel. Staff were more than helpful. Breakfast was good value for money.

1st floor room with window facing the street, but even then, the window had a blind so we could see outside but nobody could see inside. The street was not too loud either. Air conditioning was quite loud. We left it on during night, as it was unbelievably warm, and it woke us up several times.

Everything about this stay was amazing. From the staff, to the room, to the warm welcome, to the breakfast. A big thanks go to front desk team that we got to meet Fallon, Hamza, Swel and to Haneen from the breakfast. They made our stay unforgettable and they made sure always that everything was on point. Also the location of the hotel is very close to the metro which made it very easy to move around. Highly recommend, 10/10!!!

We would have appreciated more light in the room, yet it didn’t effect our great experience.

The trip was my birthday treat and the staff gave me a lovely welcome. They were friendly, kind and gave good advice when I asked for it. I loved the character of the hotel and the location. The downside was that despite doube glazing the noise from the streets was at times deafening. Also the walls are thin and that kept me awake a bit. BUT you know I was on a high and I had the most amazing trip. I hope that should I return - and I will certainly look to go back to Hotel Josephine - I will get a good deal.

Noise reduction would be good.... landing was tight.. Walls thin so noise travelled - I'm sure someone's closet was right next to my bed! The wallpaper was starting to peel off so a little bit of TLC wouldn't go amiss. I noticed that the Hotel Kipling had a lot more of food on offer in the coffee area.. don't know if it was complimentary or not. ALSO the bedding was too hot - I think it was hollowfibre and uncomfortable.. Took time to get to sleep but pillows and mattress were good for me.

After arriving in Paris we went to a hotel we had booked prio to our stay and we were bitterly disappointed - went onto the booking.com website and found hotel Josephine and could not have been happier! After arriving within minutes of the booking we were warmly welcomed. The staff knew who we were and had no trouble booking us in. The room was spacious and comfortable, the amenities were great, the shower perfect! There is a water and coffee machine in the lobby and you have a kettle and herbal tea in your room. Breakfast was great and the staff here were also very friendly and helpful. Located within walking distance of the Moulin Rouge (but not so close that you are kept awake by any noise) you can also walk to the eiffel tower, notre dam and the lurve all from this location. We did walk to the cemetry where Jim Morrison is but it was quite a distance. There is the Blance metro close by so Paris really is at your finger tips at this hotel

Other than getting down to breakfast earlier so as not to be waiting for a seat there really isnt anything they need to do to improve

Comfortable atmosphere at the lobby where you can have a cup of coffee/tea 24/7 with a famous Croissant (if you are lucky to grab one 😉). Very good service at the reception by Receptionist ladies and THANK YOU TO FALLON who made an attention of that we came to stay for Birthday in Jan weekend that a delightful surprise waited in the room 😊 Lovely small, warm room and comfy bed with all you need to stay for a short break...just a few minutes walk from Moulin Rouge that was an advantage for a short walking distance in the late night. Staff were so friendly and accommodating at this hotel. Once we got our bearings, we found the hotel to be in a great location. Really close to the moulin rouge but also good walking distance to Montmartre. So, you are close to many patisseries as well as cheese shops, small wine stores, chocolate shops and cafes. We had a great morning exploring Montmartre wish we had more time in this area. If you are looking for more retail shopping, the Galleries Lafayette is a 13 min walk straight down the road. All in all, it is a lovely hotel in a great location with very clean rooms and very helpful staff! Would definitely stay here again!

Our air con was a little noisy, but we were so tired by the end of the day we didn't notice it much once we were asleep.

I really like the staff's kidness, they are ready to help and answer any questions - there was no single problem. The location of hotel is near Moulin Rouge, the area seems safe and you can find many good restaurants nearby. I really liked the design of the hotel and rooms, it's all colorful and burlesque style.

Room appeared a little shaby compared to picture and there was a foul smell, unfortunately it gave off a feeling of dirtiness.
