I recently stayed at a hotel for 5 days and I must say it was a great experience. The hotel had an excellent location with plenty of interesting places within walking distance. There were numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes in the vicinity, providing a vibrant atmosphere. Although the rooms were small, they were adequate, clean, and comfortable. Despite the limited space, I found them to be cozy and well-maintained. The bed provided a good night's sleep, and the amenities in the room were satisfactory. The breakfast offered at the hotel was decent and sufficient. It had a good variety of options to choose from, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience pleasant. Considering the price, I highly recommend this accommodation. It provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay, with its excellent location, cleanliness, and overall value for money.

The room was very clean and it had all the things we need for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had all the things we needed. It was bigger of a room than what I expected. The location is very good as it is 30 min away from the main touristic attractions, 1h from the airport and the metro is situated right next to the hotel with 2 lines to chose from. There are a lot of food options and small food stores nearby, which made it very easy to get what we needed. I also liked that we were really close to Sacre Coeur and we got to enjoy the neighborhood by foot. The staff let us to leave our luggage at the reception which was great to explore more of the city before check in and after check out.

When we went there was construction ongoing and it was quite noisy during the day. The breakfast didn't have that many food options, it was quite simple.

Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel is small and the breakfast room is cramped but they serve a REALLY GOOD BREAKFAST. We really enjoyed our stay in Montmartre and found the location (Place de Clichy) very good for all major attractions - Tour Eiffel, Louvre, Pantheon and even Disney (via RER line A). Very good value £1200 for 4 adults for five nights with Breakfast inc). Separate note the toilets flush cleanly with no bad smells. There is strong air-conditioning and their is in-room wi-fi

Small restaurant and no downstairs reception space.

Bed comfy, clean linen and pillows, bathroom was clean. Drinking water available for free in lobby. Drinks available to buy from lobby. Perfect location with excellent transport links. Good value for money.

Shower didn’t drain brilliantly, en-suite space was really tight. Elevator is tiny. But all of this is related to staying in a historic building in a great location so on balance this is minimal. I was woken by neighbours arriving at 2am and taking shower. Doors bang really loudly, could do with soft closing hinges.

To our surprise our room was much more spacious and nice than we thought, for what we paid. Given the usual high price of some hotels in Paris we were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel at a reasonable price. The staff were very warm and welcoming, with a reception open 24 hours a day. Our room was cleaned every day and it was well designed, equipped with a bathtub and heater. The hotel is close to the Metro and bus stations, so even though it’s not really in the center in only takes 20-25 minutes by public transport to reach the center.

Be mindful that there is no AC in the room - we traveled during the fall season so that wasn’t a problem for us. The TV didn’t work but we didn’t complain so it wasn’t fixed, we also did not need to use it.

The hotel's location was precisely what I wanted for my stay in Paris. The room was functional and clean, and I enjoyed the breakfast (not included in the room price). I teleworked during my stay at this hotel; whereas the wifi connection was not super fast, it was sufficient for my needs. The bathroom products from L'Occitane were lovely.

The windows were not well insulated and I could hear some noise from the street at night (the hotel is located in a busy area). On the Booking.com website it is stated that this hotel accepts American Express cards, but this is not correct and should be updated.

I like my stay at the Modern Hotel montmartre. The location was top if you would like to be on Montmartre or in the center of Paris. The room was big enough and the stuff very kind and welcoming! The shower was very good and also mattress of the bed is 5*!!!

I did not like to stay in the room on the ground floor because if I want to open window for fresh air - anyone can look into the room and even come in and it was not very safe feeling. Also in the bathroom - there is a window but no certain that makes it easy watch at you from outside. Also when I arrived - I felt lot od smoke from cigarettes in my room and it took about 1-2 days to get rid of it with open window.

It has a Metro station very close, which helps a lot to get connected to any point in the city. In addition, if you decide to walk to the city center is a very good option this hotel, because you can enjoy of the streets of Paris from such a strategy location. The Sacre Cœur church is too close by walking (around 15 min.) and actually Parc Des Princes was only 45 min. away in public transport. Definitely, I would come back if I need to go to Paris again.

The room was comfortable, but it had a little and weird smell, sometimes it felt like tobacco, sometimes I couldn't decide what exactly was.

We have loved residing in Montmartre during our stay in Paris and would recommend any day this area as a base to visit the city. Hotels in Paris are not cheap, and as budget hotels go, Modern Hotel was a good option and it felt like good value for money (to be in Paris). The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the Moulin Rouge at the bottom of the hill in a bustling location. We were given a room facing the back garden and noise was not an issue for us and actually we slept very well. The bed was comfortable. The room was on the small side but it worked for us since we were out most of the day and essentially just came back for a night sleep. The hotel is clean throughout and rooms are done up every day to a very good standard. The staff is very friendly and very personable. Cannot fault them and we felt very welcomed.

Facilities are a bit old and that shows. Spaces, particularly the bathroom and the shower, could have been designed a little better (shower really screams for a little more space). Breakfast was nothing special, but it’s the cheapest option you can find in the area so we went for it anyway. Depends on your budget really. If you can afford it probably best to go to one of the bakeries nearby. As others have mentioned, a kettle in the room would be a good idea.

I like how the room was so clean and bed was so comfortable. The hotel provided l'occitane products such as shampoo and shower gel which is a bonus.

We were soaking wet when we came in as the rain was pouring heavily outside. We have greeted the lady in the front desk who didn't bother asking on how she can assist us, just ignoring us while we stood in front of her...no client service orientation at all. Unfortunately we didn't get to know her name, as the rest of the staff who took over were much more polite and hospitable
