Hotel Monterosa - Astotel

Good location. Nice staff. Small rooms. Comfortable beds. The breakfast is good. The hotel is part of a chain, which allows you to treat yourself to snacks throughout the day at the various member hotels. In a city where coke costs about 7 Euro, this was much appreciated.

Tiny elevator (1 person + 2 bags) makes getting upstairs a challenge. On the first night we were placed in rooms facing the street below. It was Saturday night, and there was substantial noise from scooters and motorcycles, and from drunk people. We asked to move to rooms facing the other directions and were able to do so. This resulted in three quiet nights. There is little insolation between the rooms and one night a guest smoked in his/her room and caused the fire alarm to go off around 1am.

Location was a determinant for to chose this hotel. It was close to where we wanted to go. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I mean it. There is always something available for guest to nibble on at the entry room which becomes a meeting and relaxing point. The stairs to the floors are wide and spacious. I loved that.

Well, something hard to be changed: the hotel has one small old style elevator. We could not fit in our luggage at once. Yes, we were on a long international trip. We had to do several rides to get everything to our room. But other guests were very nice and some even used the stairs.

Free snacks in the lobby! Big room for Paris standards.

Room a little bit dusty in places but nothing bad, otherwise very clean

Most of the staff were very nice, especially the help desk(the lady that was responsible for the breakfast- not so much) we were on ground floor, so the room was quiet We really liked the fact that we had some drinks and snacks for free 24/7, it helped a lot breakfast at cost of 11€ was good too.

The room is small; we knew that before. The toilet’s door is dragged one, and it’s heavy, so you have to work hard for that privacy, also it doesn’t lock or closed good enough...

Location was amazing. Walking distance from La Fayette shopping malls & a train station. Staff were really helpful. Received my deliveries til I arrived. Snacks were on time and available through til night time. I never made it for breakfast as I was out early each morning before it was served.

14m2 is quite small for a room. Bathrooms small so the shower was a bit tight to get in & out off. Tried to upgrade to the other sister hotels for a more spacious look but all was booked out

The location was wonderful! a 5 minute walking distans to the Mulin Rouge, 15 minutes walking too the Monmarter (beautigul!) a metro station that took us everywhere we needed 5 minutes walk, and we even took a long walk (30 minutes) to the Tuiliri gardens, Gallery Lafayatte, There are a ton of coffe places around, and everything you need to get by The hotel itself is small and cute -lovely staff, a nice breakfast to start your day - Hot and cold dringks, baked goods and snacks in the loby all day long for free! the rooms are small but comfortable and super clean

Excellent location and great value for money. The smaller size of the room was expected and was not an issue. Friendly staff and smooth check in and check out. I might consider this again next time I visit Paris.

The place is a bit noisy in the morning. There was some construction outside which seemed pretty intense and woke me up. Together with room next door opening and closing - this was so loud it seemed someone was slamming the door of my own room.

Everything was perfect! All e staff are extremely friendly and nice. Room is good size, clean, with everything you need in it. Bathroom is nice and big. Drinks from mini bar are free + there's a kettle in the room for tea. Breakfast is buffet based. food is various and tasty. There's an open bar from 2pm, with coffee, tea and snacks, which you can use in any hotel from the Astotel hotel group. We used this all the time. Location is pretty good, near Monmartre, but also close t the city center. We usually went to the city by foot (~30min), and used metro to return to hotel later in the day. This hotel really deserves a recommendation, they're doing great job!

I liked everything.

Breakfast was delicious. They had fruits and vegetables, pastries, etc. The staff was very helpful whenever we had a question. And the best part is that in the afternoon there is a small selection of snacks and drinks the guests can take.

They supply soap and conditioner, but no shampoo.

Very cozy clean and fresh hotell, helpful reception staff. Ok location. The room was nice, quite, good AC and bathroom. But the room was too small for two people. No problem if you would be out all day. Simple breakfast but good enough. Great with free sanks , drinks, and alkoholfri minibar.

The breakfast area is mall and can gets very noisy when full and especially when the kitchen staff is cleaning around. But nice and quite in the evenings.
