Hotel Thoumieux

The staff who were not less than perfect and professional especially the lady managing the breakfast as well as the reception team. They were extremely attentive to details and take immediate action to make our stay joyful, easy and comfortable. A lot of cafes, restaurants, patisseries and supermarkets. The design of the hotel and the rooms was artistic and fantastic. The Brasserie underneath was great and the food was so tasty! We will definitely come again and we highly recommend it!

Nothing! The hotel did not have lifts but this was not a problem for us especially that the staff helped us with the luggage.

I love this chic charming comfortable PRISTINE little hotel. a wonderful attentive kind staff who really made me feel at home- My cozy room was perfection- the most comfortable bed with crisp fresh beautiful quality linens- a wonderful shower, an air conditioner that really really works (!!!) - GORGEOUSLY decorated (truly inspired creativity!) I was sad to miss the restaurant ( it was closed for summer vacation) but I’ll be back ASAP .. Once it’s reopened I won’t see a reason to leave the property( just kidding.. sort of!) Thank you everyone for giving me such a nice stay- a tres bientôt j’espère ! ♥️

The flight of stairs upon entering the hotel are a bit of a pain with luggage ( definitely not suitable for anyone disabled) but the fantastic staff is always available to help. Its absolutely worth the hassle!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in early April. The location of the hotel in proximity to everything is excellent - lots of restaurants, bakeries and bars within walking distance. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night we arrived and it was also good. The room we stayed in had an inner courtyard view and was on the 2nd floor above the lobby. The stairs were pretty narrow to get up and down with our bags but you are in Paris, after all! The room and hotel itself was beautiful - the branding was thoughtfully woven throughout the entire experience (even the door handles). Our room had nice big bathroom with a nice shower and soaps etc. A mini fridge and bathrobes allowed us to enjoy our time spent in the room (which wasn’t a lot).

The only real negative is just that the ceilings were quite low so it felt a little claustrophobic at times, and for the cost of the room it would have been nice if breakfast had been included (more amenities). But with all the bakeries nearby, it wasn’t an issue! The price was on par with other hotels for its excellent location.

Great location, walking distance to most sights. Loved the quirkiness of the room! The hotel is on the first floor. Rest, absolutely loved it, my kids loved the room decor and how easy it was to walk to everywhere.

Only trouble was, breakfast was included and all the non English speaking lady got was juice and bread and butter.

The location is fantastic. Not too touristy, yet close to the sites. We walked to most of our destinations. But there’s a metro nearby. The hotel has a very cool vibe. Artistic and quirky interior: very unique! The staff is incredible and the breakfast is a must!

There’s nothing negative to be said about this place. If you have to be picky: maybe a clearer sign where to enter the hotel. It’s a small door on the same side as the restaurant. But it’s really to be very difficult, honestly.

A boutique hotel with character and a fantastic restaurant downstairs. Comfortable large bed, robes and nice toiletries. We had a large shower but I understand other rooms only have a bath with a handheld shower head. A bit noisy (could hear other guests and housekeeping in the hallway) but not too bad considering the central location our room faced the street. Staff were very helpful with check in and assisting with requests. Complimentary water on the first night was appreciated.

Sound proofing could be better. No lift but only a few flights of stairs.

The location was excellent: walkable to good restaurants and bars, step onto the street and see the Eiffel Tower right there, which is walkable, too. Close to two subway stops. The bed was comfortable, too.

The shower was annoying to use as a shower. It was a bathtub with a handheld shower handle. No option to hold the handle up high. The curtain also forced you to either spray water all over the floor or have it stick to your body the whole time. The only effective way to bathe was to use it as a bathtub. There was also no elevator (standard for Paris), and the twisting staircase made it a little more difficult to carry up luggage.

Thoumieux was such a beautiful boutique hotel with exceptional staff. Our two adjacent rooms were divine. Both had large comfortable beds, a well-stocked mini bar, an espresso coffee machine, ample space for our luggage and were decorated in a tastefully eclectic style that only the French could master! The tall double windows opened out to the beautiful street below, with a direct view of the well-stocked patisserie across the street and a side view to the Eiffel Tower. The clawfoot bath in our main room provided the perfect place to soak after long days on our feet, while the second room had a generously sized shower. The hotel is a short stroll directly down the street to the Eiffel Tower with plenty to see along the way. The metro line is a 5-minute walk in the other direction. The hotel is well-positioned for Paris exploration and dining. We will be back!

The larger of our two rooms had a beautiful bath but no shower - only a handheld showerhead with no high mount. Fortunately, we had a large shower in the second room; however, if only one room had been necessary, this would have been a little tricky.

Great location, minutes from the Eiffel Tower and some excellent restaurants. Close walk to everything else in the area, including the Metro station. We had a great time.

No elevator.

Very comfortable bed, surprisingly quiet room with double glazing (except on Champions League weekend when I needed ear plugs! as it's above an Irish bar ;-) ) Great location near the river and close to Eiffel Tower. Spacious room, small shower but very clean and new. Best thing was the long marble topped table that ran the length of the room which was great to put your luggage under and put lots of stuff on top. I find there's always a lack of surfaces in hotel rooms, but this was great! Had a coffee maker and kettle and small fridge and was directly opposite a fabulous boulangerie for croissants on the morning and very close to a couple of small supermarkets. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and pleasant. I would definitely book this hotel again when in Paris.

There was no lift, but that was ok for us. Staff carried our luggage up the one flight of stairs.
