Hotel Muguet

- the location is great (there are supermarkets, restaurants, metro/bus stations, d’Orsay and Rodin museums, all within 5-15 minutes walking distance) - the lobby is really stylish - they offer a locked baggage room in case you arrive earlier/leave later and want to leave your luggage for a while there

- the rooms were not sound proofed, you could hear everything from the hallway - the elevator had some issues - there were no slippers or toiletries (except soap; so make sure you have anything else you need with yourself) - the sheets were not changed during a 5-night stay - the furniture is rather old and has some paint coming off in various spots - no mini fridge All these details normally wouldn’t have been important but the price was rather high compared to other hotels that didn’t have these issues and were far better value for money.

The room, although small, was very nicely furnished, and had a comfortable bed and clean bathroom with shower. The hotel itself has a very good location if you are on a sightseeing tour of Paris. A small, but nice feature is the actually usable wardrobe for your clothes. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is not that great. There is not much to choose from and it has an emphasis of storeable foods rather then anything fresh. Also there is usually only little food placed on the buffet tables, so everything is constantly running out, and you usually have to ask for it in the kitchen. That being said, the quality of the food is good, and there is freshly squeezed orange juice which was a great plus.

The hotel was really good. I loved the room and the eiffel tower view. The shower was EXCEPTIONAL, loved it. And the room was really clean too. Really nice location. The Sérgio receptionist was really funny, helpfull and spoke Portuguese. He gave us tips and recommendations about Paris. He is really a nice guy!

The room size could be bigger. They do not provide slippers or bathrobes.

Hotel was in a great central location on a quiet street. Exceeded expectations.

nice hotel with all the basics in a great location for exploring all that Paris has to offer. The staff are always available. The rooms are small, but comfortable.

The wifi is terrible, do not rely on being able to use it. The lift is tiny and can only fit one person and one suitcase at a time. There are rules against eating in the room as well, which seems absurd!

The staff were super friendly and so helpful. Sergio, in particular, was super lovely and kept us informed with train strikes prior to us checking out. As the hotel prefers guests to leave hotel keys at the front desk, this wasn’t an issue as Sergio was efficient with returning our key every time we came back to the hotel! The room was so spacious and the showers were huge. Beds were also super comfortable.

This is a small charming boutique hotel just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower, cafes, and local shops. We had the 3 twin bed room with 3 adults and we were comfortable. Bathroom was updated and modernized. The staff is amazing and so helpful with navigating Paris. Sergio helped us figure out the best metro pass to purchase, kept us posted on train strike threats impacting our day trip (which went smoothly), helped figure out transportation to a very remote location for the second part of our trip, and gave the most amazing restaurant recommendations that were a perfect ending to a long day.

The elevator is small and the stair case is small and spiral but really wasn’t a problem for us, just pointing it out. I’ve seen these small elevators in large major hotels in old cities.

The hotel is located in a very quiet street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fairly priced (not always the case in Paris…)

The smaller rooms may be a bit tight for a couple with seizable pieces of luggage. Although this doesn’t impacted me (I was by myself in a business trip), I thought it worths mentioning so other travelers can book/plan accordingly.

It was so beautiful and clean! Very close to everything.

No fridge in the room.

The room was pretty, very clean, and quiet. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was huge! The location was fabulous, less than a mile from the Eiffel Tower, around the corner from Les Invalides, and near two metro stops as well as shops and restaurants. Breakfast was included. The day staff was enormously helpful and kind. Sergio, the weekday concierge, was especially helpful when the airline lost our luggage, advising us where to shop and helping us fill out a claim form online.

Eating is not allowed in the rooms. It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator to bring back leftovers from the restaurants and fruit from the markets. The room was on the small size (the big bed took up most of the space).
