Hotel La Comtesse

The room was just as I desired, a small boutique European room. There wasn't room to sit, but the bathroom was very spacious, tub/shower combo great; lots of power and hot water. And the view was glorious, looking at the Eiffel Tower never gets old. The tower is also within walking distance from the hotel. There is a nice little market across from hotel for quick pickup items. The staff were so kind. Truly, you just can't beat this place.

Wish there was a place within the hotel for a quick sip of wine.

I really enjoyed my stay because of the strategic location of the hotel, the comfortable room and the wonderful view from the room's balcony. Truly value for money. The hotel is just within walking distance to the metro and the Eiffel Tower. There are plenty of cafes and shops (e.g., convenience shop, souvenir shop) nearby. Furthermore, the staff were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel especially for couples who are planning for their honeymoon.

It would be great if the hotel could install a bidet but bidet is not commonly used in Europe.

We booked rooms on the fifth floor which have balconies that we would often sit out of and have our morning cup of Nespresso and croissant while gazing at the Eiffel Towel so close by. It was especially magical at night when the Eiffel Tower sparkeled and we were in absolute awe! Daniel and his staff are so welcoming with greetings at all times and quick to provide local suggestions for the best of Paris!

Wish we could have stayed longer!!!!

- If you get the full Eiffel Tower view rooms, the view is unbeatable. It was amazing to wake up with seeing Eiffel Tower from your bed. - Superb breakfast. Really loved the variety in breakfast (which you can get in the room to have with the view) and the quality of the food + available drinks in the mini bar. - Clean rooms & comfy bed and comfy bathrobes provided for extra comfort. - Hairdryer & iron in the room, umbrellas available in lobby for daily use. - Front desk staff was kind, friendly and helpful at all times. We were very happy with them

- There is NO SPACE to put your stuff in the bathroom. Just a giant sink with no side counter, which is problematic for travellers with toiletries, perfumes, make up, even toothpaste. I had to put my curling iron and hairdryer on the floor daily while working with it, cause there was literally not an inch of counter space next to the sink (and only mirror is there). I hope they renovate the rooms, it's a huge design mistake that really annoyed me. - For the front Eiffel Tower view rooms, I get that they sell the view, but we found the price too high for the comfort compared to other properties in Paris that we stayed, I would expect the rooms to be more luxurious and larger for the price they charge. Hardly any space to open up the luggages.

This property was great and the view of the Eiffel Tower at night was beautiful. The room was small but perfect for a solo traveler and I never felt cramped. Property location is quiet and within a 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and plenty of restaurants. As I was traveling around a few different countries, I was happy to see the laundromat across the street. There is also a convenience store across the street in case you do not want to pay for the items in the mini fridge (which include sodas, lemonade, wine, and champagne as well as snacks). There was a brief blackout during my stay. Everything on the street was out but the Eiffel Tower glowed brightly in the background. I wished I’d stayed longer.

The elevator was so slow at times that I thought it was not working so I took the stairs. Stairs are narrow and spiral. Be careful!

Our room was on one of the upper floors and included a wonderful side view of the Eiffel Tower. It was pretty spectacular! Hotel was in a great location for easy walking to a number of Paris landmarks, restaurants and attractions. The room included a small balcony with a bistro table and chairs. The brasserie downstairs offered a great breakfast buffet and a was also nice spot for an afternoon glass of wine or espresso. Loved the charming and elegant decor. Great service by all from check-in to check-out. Friendly and accomodating!

Room was quite small. With two large suitcases taking up space, there was very little room to move around in. It was okay for our three night stay (where we spent very little time in the room).

The room on the fifth floor had a wonderful view of the nearby Eiffel Tower. Sitting down for a glass or two of wine on the balcony watching the tower light up was a memory that will stay with us. The staff were exceptionsl both at reception and in the restaurant. A good selection for breakfast. The omelettes were especially good. The location is superb, not only for the view, but also its proximity to the Eiffel Tower, good quality restaurants and the major attractions. All in all La Comtesse was the perfect place for the two of us to spend our anniversary.

There was nothing that would prompt a negative comment. It was not a cheap break, but you have to pay for excellence.

The Hotel enjoys a wonderful location in close proximty of good restaurants, a nearby subway station, and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel and our room were all very clean. The selections at the breakfast buffet were excellent and varied and I’d recommend it to all guests. Above all, the service provided by the concierge staff was exceptional. In midstay, they were able to accommodate my request to change rooms to one with a facing view of the Tour Eiffel. I experienced some phone trouble and Emilie and Isabel were incredibly helpful! In particular, they provided exceptional assistance with a sense of urgency in making my bookings at the Eiffel Tower and Palace of Versailles.

A few times during our 5 day stay we had to wait for the lift to arrive on the 6th floor but it was a minor inconvenience.

The room was quaint and accommodated all our needs. loved the coffee machine and the entire staff's focus was for us to have great experience! We had a great view of the Eiffel Tower and it was a joy to sit out on the balcony and drink an espresso while taking in the scenery. I can't wait to return!

The room size was small, but accomodated all our needs. These are older buildings, so this is probably an issue with other hotels. But, if you are in Paris to stay in your hotel than you probably shouldn't go.

Staff was super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were always clean and smelling good. the bed was comfortable ( I’m 1,9m tall and fit me well) , shower had an good pressure and the sink is large and comfortable to use.

If you try to rest during the day, it can be quite noisy ( just stuffed noises). And if someone is cleaning the room on the side of the bed you can fell a bump in the wall sometimes. During our stay the fire alarm went off twice in the morning ( it’s incredibly loud), fortunately enough was just a mistake. ( idk if it happens frequently, bc was the one time that we slept a bit late).
