Delice Hotel - Family Apartments

The staff was very kind and helpful, and the room was pristine when I first entered and was cleaned every day. The position was also very convenient for my work trip, and it is also very easy to reach on foot from the nearby subway station.

The pillows could have been more comfortable, and breakfast options could be improved with very little effort. No hot milk was provided (very easy fix), and fruit was also limited and on a slice-it-yourself basis. Adding a hot milk jug and a couple more fruits (possibly pre-sliced for lazy people like me) would be enough to make breakfast basically perfect.

The hotel is conveniently situated on the route to the airport, allowing us to enjoy a restful night's sleep before catching our train. The proximity to the airport terminal was a major plus point. The night receptionist greeted us warmly, and our room was spotlessly clean. We were surprised to find a cake on the dining table. We only discovered its purpose after inquiring with the receptionist. A welcoming note explaining the gesture (a New Year’s eve tradition), especially for families with children, would have been great. While the beds were comfortable, we found ourselves a bit chilly, with only two blankets provided for five people. After a long day of travel, the ambiance of the hotel felt somewhat outdated and dimly lit, particularly the dining area located in the entrance, reminiscent of old Parisian flats from the 1960s. An update to the decor would enhance the overall atmosphere. Additionally, a more spacious bathroom would be preferable, particularly for taller individuals who may find the narrow space challenging. Although the presence of a restaurant at the foot of the hotel added convenience, it also contributed to some noise, which could be disruptive for families with children. Overall, our stay was satisfactory, but not the best we've had in Athens as a family. The atmosphere felt somewhat impersonal.

We stayed one night in an apartment room, and it was huge. With a full sized kitchen, a big bathroom, great bed and living area as well as a large sunny deck overlooking the street. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, they allowed us to check in early after dropping our hire car, and kept our bags for us the next day before going to the airport. Great restaurants next door and across the road near the park, very close to the train station, and opposite the National Art Gallery. The breakfast was also excellent, I would definitely stay again.

Delice Hotel has been for us a great reference point for a first step of our trip in Greece. We were in Athens for three days before leaving towards Ciclades islands . Breakfast is a continental one, really satisfying with some greek touch. Good WiFi. The hotel is near a metro station, the best way to move around the city. Very near the hotel there are quite nice restaurants we appreciated. At the same we came back at Delice at our return for one day. In both stays we had apartments very comfortable, wide, clean. The staff was "marvellous" solving some hard problems due to some public transport strikes we met in during the days in Athens. They booked taxi directly very efficiently, and we found it at Piraeus. At the same time informations and help were always given professionally and with great kindness. Thank to everyone of the Delice Hotel staff. Surely we came back.

They serve traditional greek spinach pie and basic breakfast

Breakfast - I just hope they have more selections and variations. The scrambled egg was mixed with the bacon so we requested for a scrambled egg to be cooked separately (since we are muslims) but the attendant did not granted the request. There was only one person who appears to be managing the whole breakfast area

The family apartments are in a rather good area, close to a metro station and several bus stops. The rooms are huge, and allow you to cook during your stay, and have space to work / relax. Directly in front of the hotel there is a small shop & the staff is nice.

The breakfast is terrible, bordering on inedible. Stay with the greek yoghurt and the coffee (not good but not terrible). The windows let through all sound from the street, so if you cant sleep with noise, you wont sleep.

It was located close to food options and a local supermarket; the tram and metro stop were also close (5-7 min walk); safe neighbourhood; property was stylish and clean; the elevator was cute, fun and different to any I’d used before; staff were friendly and helpful; and room was spacious, stylish, with great aircon, a kettle and a fridge, and the desk was huge.

Not a great view from my balcony (just the wall of the building next door) but I didn’t spend much time in the unit, so that didn’t really matter.

Close to the centre of Athens, 20min walk to Syntagma, close to Metro too for travelling further. 24hr reception with vending machine for water and snacks were good, plenty of instant hot water.

Water came back up through the drain in the bathroom when showering soaking the floor, asked for a quiet room but noise from some sort of generator outside the room as well as the lift being noisy, only for a few nights thought so not too much of a problem. Coffee, sugar and milk weren’t refilled on any of the days.

Dear Delice Hotel team! I have to be honest you've surprised me so much. Apartment was bigger than I expected and we had a lot of space to enjoy the stay in Athens. Also what I loved so much during summer days, is perfectly working air conditioning units installed inside of the apartment (especially when was +37C outside!). In case if you need to grab som cold drink there is a vending machine located near reception and small kiosk (open until late hour) in front of the hotel. Also your receptionist team is just simply professional and very nice! We've appreciated it a lot. Hotel location just few minutes of walk from the metro line with the easy access to the city center. Also near by to the hotel is a HopOn HopOff bus stop. Not far from the hotel you can find Panathenaic Stadium, Lycabettus Hill (with stunning view of the whole Athens) and War Museum. All of it worth of visit. Thanks a lot for the great stay!

The hotel is very nice. It is located close to the metro station, from where there is only a couple of stops to the city center. Our apartment had a living room with a kitchenette and a bedroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and the whole atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant.

It would be nice to have slippers and a bathrobe in the room.
