Hotel Lozenge

After small water problem in our room they have moved as in the best apartment they have. Best staff, best location, excellent breakfast... Everything was perfect

Location. Staff at reception. Comfortable beds. Rooms cleaned daily. I liked the bar, sitting outside. Good vibes to the street.

Rooms are ran down, need a good renovation. Lots of marks of use including in the bathroom. The water in the shower was not constantly warm, it changed between warm and cold. From the window and balcony, a dark terrace. Breakfast started at 8 which was changed to 7.30 during our stay. Breakfast ok but nothing outstanding. Unfortunately the rooftop bar was closed. Very kind and helpful staff everywhere, big plus to them.

Amazing and exceptional staffs. We were upgraded upon arrival to a room with balcony. The location was good,really friendly staff helpful and nice especially Giota she was of great assistance. Also my partner had a surprise birthday present many thanks Hotel Lozenge we would definitely visit again and would highly recommend.

Nothing at all

We have being staying at this hotel every year for the past 6 or 7 yrs (short stays, on 2 occassions). It is convenient to everything, staff are lovely and very helpful, especially the gentleman on night shift. Food is very good and the area around is very safe. The beds and pillows are amazing , so comfortable. Lovely restaurant next door called "Jimmys" with excellent food also. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely stay. See you next year,!

View from our Room 105, also Room was a bit small. We had a nicer Room on our second stay on 2nd Floor.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Lozenge, a superb boutique hotel in an upmarket party of the city. The hotel is located in an upmarket neighbourhood with Gucci and Prada shops for company! It is close to many attractions and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and stylishly decorated, with all the amenities we needed. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, who really cared to make our stay outstanding. They gave us helpful tips on where to go and what to do, including providing helpful maps to get us there. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with fresh and local ingredients. We'll be back!

The hotel is in a great location very close to Syntagma square where we could take taxis or the metro very easily, or just stroll right into the Plaka area. The room was very clean, we had a lovely lady doing daily housekeeping. The hotel staff are friendly and eager to help with questions, they even helped us out to keep our cabin luggage after we did our checkout, as we had some time to spare before the flight. The breakfast was excellent it consisted of pastries, varied egg omelettes, vegetables, fruits, cheese, salmon, coffees etc. We enjoyed it. What we liked the most is that the area is quiet even though it's so close to the center. If we are in Athens again we will definitely book this hotel!

The soundproofing was not very good in the room - however I think people should be more educated when they reserve rooms, have the decency to keep quiet after certain hours, we had some screaming neighbours:)

They have upgraded our room from Deluxe to Junior. We had a great terrace with sun until like 4 pm. The room was big, clean. They gave us water and some sodas from the house every day. We had a coffee machine in the room . The street where was located the hotel is silent and right behind syntagma square. I have read some comments about a soft bed. It is true. I hate soft beds, but somehow on this one my back didn t hurt at all, actually it was great. The pillows were also good. The bathroom is big, clean. We had a great stay there. And the stuff was very frienldy, helped us with every question we had, even deciding on a day trip. Accepted a dellayed check out.

The AC is a bit noisy if you need it on during the whole night. The center of Athens is noisy because of the clubs. Even if the street was very silent, you could here the noise from distant streets. But that is the case for all the center. This hotel is on a silent street, so a plus for that. The breakfast was good, but the variety of food is not so great. They could work a little on that too.

Enjoyed the location in Athens. Walking distance to nice eateries and shopping. The breakfast buffet included with our room fee was a pleasant surprise. The food and the service were better than some full service restaurants that I've been too. Fresh baked pastries and eggs cooked to order was the perfect way to start the day.

Didn't realize that the hotel isn't accessible by car. The Taxi driver dropped us off at the closest corner and we had to pull our luggage down the uneven brick pavement to the middle of the block to reach the hotel. My husband felt that the room was a bit small for the price. Outside of the U.S. I always expect the rooms to be small. Our room in Hotel Lozenge was bigger than our room in Paris.

Lozenge is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Athens close to all of the attractions and main shopping district. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. The room itself is well appointed and extremely comfortable especially the bed. And very quiet too. They have a fantastic restaurant in which a beautiful buffet breakfast was served and the food was fresh with lots of choice between hot and cold food. This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Lozenge and each time it gets better and will continue to book in future.
