We always stay here for the family NYE holiday trip to Athens as it offers a great location in the heart of the city. The hotel is cozy and warm on winter while the beds are a dream to sleep on. The staff is always helpful and friendly. As it concerns breakfast, it is fine.Nothing to go crazy about, but it filled out needs.

Prefer to book the rooms facing Ermou str. They seem to place booking.com clients in the back rooms, which are smaller - especially the bathroom. The view on the back rooms is building walls with lots of aircondition units making noise if you keep the window open. This is what happened to us this year as we forgot to ask for the front rooms.

The location of the hotel is in a nice area of Athens. There are numerous restaurants to choose from nearby. The hotel was exceptional clean & we enjoyed breakfast, lunch & dinner there on a few occasions. As it was our honeymoon the check in staff kindly arranged for complimentary wine & fruit to be sent to our room, which was very kind of them.

We have a few little points: We had to ask room service for teabags, coffee, milk & cups 3 times during our 7 nights as housekeeping had not replenished them or left us any cups. We did not like having to ring room service as we knew they were short staffed & we had to wait a while. My husband noticed the shower gel ran out twice. When we checked in we were told breakfast was served until 11am at the weekends, we were there for 10:45 & were told breakfast was finished. I told them it was only 10:45 & they got us something to eat as food had already been cleared away. We were made to feel very uncomfortable.

Wow, I honestly don’t know where to begin! This was my first abroad as a solo female and I don’t think it could have gone any better and this hotel was a large part of it! I felt safer here and in Athens in general then I have in ANY American city, including my own. Staff: 💯, when I tell you they were helpful and kind that’s an understatement. From printing off paperwork, to fielding emails from my worried Father, to arranging transportation. They exceeded all expectations! They answered every question and even followed up the next day to see how their advice went. Location: 🥳, there are several sister properties in the city and I ended up walking by all of them at some point and this is definitely the best! Right in the center of every thing and easily accessible. Also, down the street from parliament and has police posted at the corner almost every hour of the day. Shopping, food, sites, taxis, buses, trains all with in minutes in every direction. Breakfast: 🤤, so good and filling! They provided coffee anyway you like if and the juice is delicious. Plus the view of the acropolis is stunning! It was a great experience eating and soaking up the sun every morning. I will also always remember the Greek yogurt and spoon fruit! Whatever they are serving us in America is a sad lie. Room: 😶‍🌫️😴, hot shower with excellent water pressure and a comfy bed with black out curtains. No complaint here! I booked the smallest room since I was alone and although there wasn’t a view for the price and comfort I’d do it a hundred times more! The walls are thin so sound does travel a bit but that’s standard in any hotel. I originally booked this place because I was nervous about my first trip alone and saw all the comments from elderly white Americans and knew that if they were pleased then it was probably a safe bet and I was beyond impressed! So please take this advice from a black millennial female, BOOK HERE. I will honestly never book anywhere else in Athens.

I honestly can’t think of one thing I would change except maybe offering covid testing on-site but in full honesty it was less then a block away and still very easy!

Location: not just in the center and easy distance to the main sights and public transport, but the street outside is pedestrian zone. Much better to step out from the lobby than to a narrow sidewalk, blocked by cars. Staff was really helpful, doing more than expected. Roof terrace with Acropolis view is nice, but not unique.

Small bathroom can be quite uncomfortable. Drinks at the breakfast are served, must be agile to be served in time. Many rooms have a small window looking at the rear yard, back of neighbor buildings, packed with ventilation appliances making significant noise and kitchen smell. AC in the room is also noisy, so if one is sensitive for noises, can be a really disturbing issue.

Very good location walking distance to everything. The breakfast was amazing!! Best breakfast of the trip.

Be aware!! There are three locations all owned by Electra. One called Electra Hotel, Electra Palace, and Electra Metropolis. I thought we had booked Electra Palace with the pool but we actually booked the Electra Hotel. I am pretty Savy about this type of thing but was totally surprised when we arrived and had no pool. It’s confusing so check your booking closely as it seems it’s one place. You can use the pool at the other hotel but you have to walk down the street and it’s inconvenient. The Electra hotel was perfectly fine however.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. Although our triple room was a little small, it was extremely comfortable, well equipped, and very tastefully furnished. The reception staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were helpful, very friendly, and extremely welcoming. Thanks everyone. There's also an a fabulous roof-top bar/restaurant, with stunning views of the Acropolis.

We went for a nightcap in the rooftop bar, where we found some of the staff inattentive. Servers were slow to take our order because they were on their phones, and we had to leave our table to find someone when we wanted another drink because the bar was unattended. Also, there was an incredible range of breakfast foods, but, unfortunately, the hot food was very cold.

Excellent hotel in a great location for business and tourism, very close to metro to the airport. Very pleasant, good sound insulation, nice decor and lobby. My single room was small but had everyhting one needs and was very comfortable in every respect. The rooftop terrace and dining room with view of the Acropolis and city is lovely. I would definitely return.

Restaurant staff could do with more training: there were items missing such as a straw in a drink that requires it, or small spoon to go with coffee, milk and sugar. Minor things but a sign of lack of training or attention. Cigar smoking should be banned on the terrace - cigar smoke is strong and unpleasant - at least for some - and ruins the experience for other guests. Shower gel dispenser in the barthroom was empty.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel offered practical, useful amenities. It had a modern feel and the tech installation by each room was cool too. The location was perfect. They provided one bottle of water, that was very thoughtful. The breakfast had a good variety and was always fresh.

We had a short stay, and the 2nd night when we went to shower, there was no shower gel. Shouldn't that be checked before a new person enters the room? It was literally the 2nd night. Also, the space to step into the shower was narrow. It would be better if the door could open more.

Our recent stay at The Dolphin Bay Hotel on the enchanting island of Syros was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The Dolphin Bay Hotel provided us with a charming retreat that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the island. The hotel's serene ambiance and picturesque surroundings created a peaceful atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. Our room at The Dolphin Bay Hotel was comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. Although it was not a luxurious hotel, it offered everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The cleanliness and attention to detail were commendable, ensuring a comfortable and cozy environment throughout our visit. The delicious breakfast offered at the hotel was a delightful array of fresh and locally sourced ingredients, providing a variety of options to suit different tastes. The attentive staff ensured that our breakfast experience was enjoyable, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day. In terms of dining options, we discovered a wealth of fantastic taverns within walking distance of the hotel. Exploring the local culinary scene became an exciting part of our stay. These nearby taverns offered a wide selection of traditional Greek dishes, prepared with love and care. We highly recommend venturing out to sample the local flavours and immerse yourself in the authentic dining experience. The location of The Dolphin Bay Hotel was ideal for exploring Syros. Its proximity to charming villages, cultural sites, and the island's pristine beaches allowed us to easily discover the beauty and charm of Syros at our own pace. While The Dolphin Bay Hotel may not be a luxurious establishment, its pleasant atmosphere, excellent breakfast, and convenient location make it a wonderful choice for those seeking a comfortable and welcoming retreat. Overall, our experience at The Dolphin Bay Hotel was one of relaxation, culinary delights, and memorable moments. We look forward

Breakfast great. We had dinner one night and the meal was superb with the great view of the acropolis. Very central to everything we wanted to visit. The hotel staff were super helpful and knowledgeable. We would happily stay again the next time we are in Athens.

The only issue was climbing in and out of the bath for a shower. I have an issue with mobility (no sensation in my right leg) so I have to be super careful with stairs etc. Next time I’ll ask for a room with a shower.
