The hotel is located 2 minutes away from Monastiraki square and metro station so that means it’s a pretty fast trip from airport to hotel. At the se time all the historical interest points are close. The breakfast is pretty diverse. The rooms are very clean . The staff at the reception was really helpful with every request we had. For the price, this hotel presented a great value!

Being so close to the center means it is quite loud. During the weekend there was music booming very loud from nearby bars and restaurants even at 2 AM. The hotel staff cannot control that but it’s worth mentioning. I also doubt any of the hotels in the city center are any different.

If you are even considering coming to Athens, please please please look into this place! The Lotus Inn staff is basically like family now. To begin, they had a FREE airport shuttle which was the biggest relief. We just typed in our flight, and we were greeted right after luggage pick up by the sweetest taxi driver. He dropped us off at our hotel and from the very beginning the staff was just so helpful and kind. Check in process was so easy, and they had the answer to EVERY question we asked. And trust me, two college girls traveling alone we had A TON! There was never a time that we felt unsafe which was huge. The location is amazing. You can walk anywhere you want! It is like a 4 minute walk to a metro station that would allow you to travel wherever. The staff helped to direct us which line to take and when to get off. It was near all lots of restaurants, bars, shops, markets, you name it. There was an exceptional view of the Acropolis just 4 minutes away including some rooftop bars with a great view of it. There were so many food options no matter the time of day even for late nights. There is also a bus tour pick up at Monastiraki Square which was such an easy way to hit all of the big tourist attractions in just a couple hours. The room was perfect. We had a cute balcony, comfy beds, and a clean place to sleep at night. We didn't spend much time in our rooms, but the little bit we did it met every accommodation! The room service was excellent! At night there are times it could get a tad noisy, but we are both heavy sleepers so we never had a problem. The curtains were excellent which was crucial to block any light when you want to rest. But you CAN NOT forget about the mouthwatering COMPLEMENTARY breakfast. OMG! Picky eater or adventurous they have it ALL. It was a breakfast buffet you would receive at a nice resort. Long story short, the free taxi, free breakfast, clean hotel, and exceptional staff make this decision a no brainer!

The location is just few minutes walk to the square. Unfortunately no parking lots available so you have to go by taxi or train. The breakfast was simple but filling with the view of acropollis. the staff are extremely friendly. The room is big enough for both of us, nothing fancy but standard and sufficient. everything just smooth for athens' trip :)

Since the hotel is in the square area, sometimes you can hear the noise from outside. But it still tolerable. If you come in the low season like us (winter), maybe you can ask for extra blanket because what we had was like summer blanket, the weather maybe not that cold like in artic or scandinavian, but still, heavier blanket could be good tho..

I loved the location of this hotel - a short walk from Monastiraki station and close to all the amenities. I could see Little Cook lit up for Christmas from my balcony! I was in the rooms across the road from the main hotel which isn't staffed and as a lone female traveller wasn't sure how safe this would be but during my couple of days her I felt very safe. The 'piece de resistance of staying here is having breakfast across the road in the main hotel with fantastic Acropolis views. The breakfast offer was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The property is in a perfect location; ‘short’ walk to subway, archeological sites, museums, shopping district, & excellent Greek restaurants. Also, don’t be discouraged by the Google Street view of the graffiti in the neighborhood… Graffiti is everywhere in Athens, but the hotel & neighborhood are very safe. Also, we spent two nights in the suite and private elevator, the extra space, large bed, balcony jacuzzi, free stuff, & nighttime view of the acropolis made the extra cost worth it.

Right next to Monastiraki metro, this hotel is in a great location with easy access to a number of districts. Lovely view of the Acropolis from the breakfast room with a good selection of pastries, bread and fruits (unsure on hot food as none of it suitable for me). Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Petros who helped me across the road with my case. Shower was very modern and the room was clearly quite newly decorated. Lift access to all floors.

No major problems worth noting.

Our flight was severely delayed so didn't arrive until 2 a.m. Checked-in OK despite the late hour and slept! Breakfast was on top floor with lovely view of Acropolis. Breakfast was fine. Hotel was close to main shops for a wander before we left. Reception were happy to call taxi for us to travel to next destination, very helpful.

Our room was in a separate building on the other side of a busy street and the building was a bit tired/shabby. It was necessary to turn on the water heater in the morning before showering to ensure there was enough hot water.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed our balcony.

That the restaurant was only open for breakfast. We needed a place to set and talk and we did not have it because the restaurant closed so early. I expected the Acropolis view rooms to be larger than they are. Also, there were homeless people sleeping outside the entrance to the motel and tried to get us to let them in the hotel.

No need to search any longer - this place is incredible. Located in "premier" athens (as taxi driver called it), it's right in the centre of food, shops, markets and transport (eg express train to airport, other train and bus lines, and hop on off buses), staff were lovely. Breakfast room has an amazing view of the Acropolis. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was big and comfortable. I'm still unsure why it was so affordable... so that's a bonus!

Loved Breakfast and the location was good too. The room was big, very spacious and there was an elevator, which I need as I can not walk stairs. I really liked the gentlemen at the info desk, they were both very helpful and friendly.

It would be nice if there were blankets in the room, I was a little cold. You have to know that the road is really busy and so you here a lot of partying noise throughout the night (an open window is not a good idea), but the location makes it still really good.
