The boutique is extremely cute, We stayed in the room with the huge balcony and our son and his wife had a smaller room. It was very comfortable with cozy furnishings. The location was terrific, near the central touristy attractions and lots of restaurants. The host and staff felt like family (in a good way) and were so friendly and happy to see you.

The only downside was the noise/music late at night, they like to party late. Use the ear plugs they provide, although we didn't. We never got a great night's sleep, but we're on vacation, so didn't care.

This guesthouse is absolutely wonderful and one of the best properties I’ve stayed in whilst holidaying. The location is excellent, in a backstreet away from the hustle and bustle but very close to plenty of bars and restaurants and a very short walk to the main square and metro. The decor is lovely, lots of quirky touches that made us smile. The room we had was fabulous; spotlessly clean, a really comfy bed, amazing shower etc and a little veranda where we could sit and listen to the music that was being played outside on the street below. Breakfast was delicious as were the cocktails that we tried (and there were quite a few). Nothing was too much trouble for every single member of the lovely and friendly staff, who went above and beyond to be helpful by making recommendations for restaurants etc. I would definitely stay at Frogs again as I cannot imagine that it could be beaten for the sheer experience and value for money.

The location is perfect to see all the main attractions. Central location near a lot of great food too. I highly recommend Just Pita (3 min walk) for cheap street food that you will love! The breakfast was very good, although the free menu is quite limited with about 6-8 options or so. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

The room is a bit smaller than it appears in pictures. However it is still very comfortable for a couple such as us. Who is gonna spend all day in their hotel anyway? The Suite is the highest room up, around 40 stairs or so. If you have mobility issues or don't want to walk up so many stairs every day I would suggest either booking the cheaper options at this hotel, or just a different hotel altogether. Overall our stay was amazing!

The Frogs Guest House is a new hotel/ bed and breakfast in the heart of Athens. The best thing about this hotel is the food and the service. Breakfast is included with your stay and it is scrumptious. The people running the hotel were so kind. They provided excellent service and treated us with so much kindness. They arranged both our port and airport transfers. And since we were leaving at 3 am, they packed a to-go breakfast for us. I cannot say enough about how well they took care of us. I would definitely recommend staying here for your Athens adventure.

As a new establishment, there are still some kinks to be worked out. But nothing major. Most issues could be resolved with a laminated info sheet left in the rooms. It also would be nice to have their top recommendations left in the room. These are just suggestions. The hotel was great!

First things first, staff was great (not exaggerating). Ladies on the front desk were very helpful, caring and most importantly smiling. They made and served great breakfasts. If you have something bothers just go and ask; it is solved or done in a minute. Area is close to Acropolis and Plaka. Lots of good restaurants and cafes around and don't forget to ask owner for recommendations. The place with the cat (I guess Mavros Gatos), a local tavern has awesome food and mezes with tasty wine. Overlook the rough comments of moody's on the net (seen just one on Google R.), just go in and experience excellent service.

So many things to like about this place. First of all, it’s not a hotel, yet it has many amenities we appreciated. The best thing about this place is location —-central to everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere, including where we met up with tour groups we joined for the duration of our stay, shopping, restaurants, monuments. We felt like we totally immersed ourselves in the heart of the city’s culture. The staff at Frog’s was extremely helpful and let us check in earlier so that we can drop off our bags and then go out exploring,

Word of caution for travelers who may have difficulty climbing the stairs. Our room was directly above the cafe/bar, and we had to climb a steep flight of stairs. If one has a lot of heavy luggage, this may be a challenge. The nightlife is very lively, i.e., the music and sounds of people talking/laughing can last well past midnight. Although the staff provided ear buds, they may not be sufficient enough to cancel the sounds of the evening. Bring noise-canceling headsets. We managed very well but others may not.

Place is unexpectedly good. Created with lot of love and thought by the owners. Our room was spacious, it has lot of furniture but places in a way that it doesn't block any space. Balcony was nice and swing was nice touch to it. Breakfast was good (had more options that our other stays). It's quite close to the metro, restaurants &, bars and shopping market. Right at the edge of nightlife of Athens.

There was no lift so carrying suitcase up and down the narrow part of stairs was bit troublesome for us.

The customised furnishing provides for great room ambience. Fantastic and very service focused staff members; going the extra mile to make my wife’s birthday being something special. They gave us a good, warm feeling at heart from breakfast and onwards.

Nothing! Those who want it to be complete quiet at night might perhaps consider another district in Athens, but that is neither applicable for me nor anything to do with the establishment.

The staff were excellent. Super friendly and very accommodating. It’s such a buzzing little place in Psirri where everyone stops to take pictures because it’s such a cool place with Frida Kahlo vibes. Our room and bathroom were very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfy! Since the place is so buzzing and also a place to have drinks at night, there’s loud music at night (but not until late). The hotel is great and already provides earplugs. It also didn’t prevent us from having the best nights sleep. The staff were so accommodating since we arrived before check in (15:00) but we could leave our stuff and had a great lunch at the café. Highly recommend trying their Holy Ginger mocktail :)

Everything perfect, everything looks as on the pictures and clean and the staff is so nice and helpful. The breakfasts are amazing and the location is great, just few minutes from the main monuments. The water in the bathroom was always hot and we could use an AC for heating. And the bed was very confy.

There was some noise from neighborhood bars almost till the morning, so I couldn’t sleep without earplugs but they are prepared next to the bed, so I really recommend to use them.
