The room was gorgeous and spacious for two, the bed was really comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and it was convenient to have the kitchenette. We also loved the patio and spent a good deal of time drinking coffee and reading out there. If you’re looking for a very centrally located place to stay within walking distance of all of Athens sites, as well loads of bars and restaurants just outside your door, Play is a wonderful place to be!

It is in a part of the city with a lot of late night bars so it can be loud until about 1am. We personally didn’t mind it because it was just part of the experience, but the noise is a good thing for other travellers to know about just in case they’re looking for a quieter spot.

the location was very cute. Like a lush street full of cafes and restaurants. play Psyri almost feels like a small apartment with hotel services. The balcony views down to all the action were fun. But for those that are bothered by night life, it is noisy and full of life! Lots of music and action. Felt like I was getting serenaded every night. haha. Location is very central. my favorite part was the staff- especially Demitra! She was a joyful welcoming staff full of energy and Greek hospitality. she helped us carry our bags to the 3rd floor, she made reservations at restaurants, and provided lots of tips! She even contacted me to let me know we had forgotten a few items. It’s kind of the perfect hotel for a place that feels local. They give you a code to come in on your own, and the door locks and it feels safe. We had a great time in Athens! (photo is from a general neighborhood spot near hotel)

The reception didn’t open until 10am, and left after 10pm, so we didn’t get to see them at checkout. Some mornings we were out early, so we wouldn’t see them until an afternoon break. But this isn’t a big issue. Just different.

The location of the hotel was great, just couple minutes walk to attractions and hop on bus stops. Many restaurants on the same street for a quick meal or drink after long day of exploring. Staff were very helpful, available on Whats app for any questions or to give recommendations. spacious room with a kitchen and balcony.

with many restaurants around there are a lot of live music playing, was hard to sleep with windows open. not an issue with windows closed.

An excellent stay in all possible aspects. A freshly renovated building, with modern design & decoration which at the same time is fitting well with the surrounding traditional neighborhood of Psyri. The level of cleanliness was amazing, the room was comfortable and well equipped. The location is ideal for a visit to the historic center of Athens (all the archeological landmarks and museums are in walkable distance) the check in was quite easy and the stuff really friendly. Definitely recommended to make the most out of Athens!

Great location in the center of the city. Walkable to all of the monuments. Lots of dining options in the neighborhood. Rooms clean with comfortable linens. Very friendly staff. Helped a lot with early check-in.

Neighborhood has intense night life. Even with good soundproofing you can hear music in the evening. But it is so in all of this area. And at midnight music turns off near the hotel. So if you can handle this it is very nice place to stay and explore Athens!

A small and intimate boutique hotel in the heart of the most colorful neighborhood in Athens. Everything is close and accessible, a few minutes' walk to central sites. The hotel is brand new, the room was clean and polished, modern design and all the necessary equipment. I can go on listing the advantages of the hotel, but its most significant advantage is the wonderful service of the manager, Dimitra.

There is no elevator.

Great Location, right in the heart of the action. Clean and spacious room with private entrance. Bars, food, tourism, it's all there. The restaurant next door has live music every night.

The wifi did go down for a day while I was there. Access to other local networks were offered as a stop gap, but they were not as fast. The staff kept us updated about the state of the fix throughout the down time.

An exceptional hotel located in the heart of Athens. From checkin to checkout, we were looked after, and any questions we had were answered with a smile. The rooms are new, and very clean, fast Wi-Fi, and all facilities were operational during our stay. Strongly recommend the breakfast option, breakfast is provided at Zoubourlou which close by, the Greek coffee is awesome.

The key code system was a really efficient way to deal with the access to the property out of normal check in hours. The reception staff were really helpful and communicating by WhatsApp was really convenient. The breakfast was really good and had really good options with some Greek options. The location in Psyri was ideal, loads of really good bars and cafes.

I stayed there for 2 nights. I chose the hotel based on location I stayed on the 1rd floor, the room was nice, very clean, the window terrors large enough to enjoy the light during the day. the location is so convenient and safe especially if you love to move around in the evening(like myself) reception was kind and very friendly Kalimera
