Quiet neighborhood, friendly owners

The address is NOT UNIQUE: There is a similarly named street in another part of Athens, in an industrial neighborhood next to a criminal investigation facility. "Not a jail" but the people inside can't get out. To get the correct address to show on Google one needs to type in only the name: Veggie Garden Athens B&B and NOT the street name. This ambiguous situation cost me 2 hours on the day I needed to get there. Also, despite the name, there was evidently no guest access to the garden.

Have stayed here before and chose to stay here again. We love the location and that we feel like we are staying local rather than in the city. The train station is a 5 minute walk and we were in the city within 20 minutes. Plenty of local eateries within local walking distance too.

The bed is a little firm, not what I am used to - but it isnt terrible. Other than that, the place is clean and I would still stay here again.

This is a very pleasant, quiet room in a beautiful house and a nice neighborhood away from the noise and congestion of downtown Athens. The location is great; it is close to the metro and an easy bus ride to the beaches. I stayed for 4 nights and had bought a 5 day metro pass downtown. This let me take the short bus trip to the beaches and daily subway rides (20-25 minutes) into the Athens center daily to do the sites and museums. The room is also a relatively short walk to a cute neighborhood packed with very nice restaurants and bars. Not at all touristy; mostly upper-middle class locals. The house also has a very nice, shady garden in the backyard where I was able to work and had very good wireless. There was a small fridge and a washing machine (but the instructions were in Greek). My room also had a nice balcony which was cool in the mornings. The owners of the B&B were very pleasant and helpful. I'd come back.

No complaints. Maybe add a filter coffee maker in the room.

Staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The unit was large with it's private patio with access to larger outdoor patio with tables. Felt more comfortable staying here than a hotel because of the decor and personal memorabilia book case and musical past. I arrived early and room wasn't ready so host suggested to take Metro to city, Metro stop was close to the house, a few minutes walking. And there was a nice park and a cafe along way! I would stay again!

Close to the beach (<30 minutes on foot), great hosts who showed me restaurants and allowed me to lend their book "The Martian" for my trip.

It is a bit hard to find as it is just a small bed and breakfast with 2 rooms. The lower room can have mosquitoes but they offered a mosquito deterrent. The upper room is free of them.

Access to the veggie garden directly from the room. Decoration of the room is very nice, fridge / freezer in the room, parking spot for my rental car. Very friendly host. 10 minute walk to the tram depot which I had to visit for business. I would book here again.

Loved everything about the apartment! Beautiful great location, cozy, nicely decorated and the host was super friendly and helpful.

I would suggest to change the bed mattress. It was too hard and wasn’t too comfortable to sleep on and it seemed kind of small despite the fact that i am not that tall or is my wife but still we found the double bed to be too small to fit comfortably.

This property is just 10 minute walk from Metro subway station, and 15 minute by Metro Syntagma area. A perfect place to stay overnights while at Athens. You won’t have night life in the neighborhood but you will save a lot the minute you are outside the touristy areas

The property is conveniently located for both port and airport. The rooms are spotlessly clean and a reasonable size. The shower is very good. The host is friendly and helpful.

The bed creaks. If you leave the garden door open to get air in, you are likely to find cats push through the insect screen into the room. Mobile coverage in the room was poor, at least on our network.

Dimitri was a great host met us at the door locked our bikes away and allowed us to change in his house while our room was being made ready as we arrived early.

Nothing Al was great. The garden out the back was lovely snd cook we sat out there having a beer and Dimitris mum came out with a plate of cheese and salami olives and bread for us NO CHARGE. Lovely people
