Very good value for the money paid

No breakfast or food in close location. You need a food delivery in any case

The hotel is new and exceptionally clean. The breakfast is very good and diversified. The staff are very friendly and welcoming makes you feel at home. Although the metro station is at half an hour walking distance however all public buses numbers reach the station. The hotel is two stations from the center of Athens however far from the crowded market zone . Very nice restaurants and min markets within two minutes walking distance.

The location of Athenaeum Smart Hotel is great - 20min walk to Acropolis Museum, 10min with bus (bus station is in front of the hotel) The staff were professional and helpful, it made for a very pleasant stay, provided parking, late check out upon request. The room was very modern, clean and comfortable with a lovely view of Acropolis. The rooftop restaurant for breakfast had a very nice view of Athens and Acropolis.

We took the room with the view of acropolis and it was very nice, much nicer at night. The hotel was very clean. The staff was very good especially Mr. Antonis who welcomed us very nicely, guided us through the map with bus routes in the easiest way and he let us keep our bags after check out for almost until evening. The bed was comfy and the room had all the necessary facilities. The location was just 10 mins from acropolis by bus which leaves from front of the hotel. The rooftop restaurant for breakfast had a very nice view.

The breakfast was not upto the mark. It could be better and more cleaner utensils would be pleasing. Everything was perfect except the breakfast.

The staff at this hotel were professional and helpful, it made for a very pleasant stay. The room was very spacious and had a lovely view. I would stay here again.

I didn't like the street noise though to be expected considering the location. It can be a bit of a walk to get to the attractions though easy enough and flat, last resort it's only a 6euro taxi away.

The room was spacious and had great views of the Acropolis - perfect view at night especially when it is lit up. The breakfast was good and the staff were very lovely and helpful!

There were some details in the rooms and hotel that need attention e.g. my toilet roll holder was broken. Not a dealbreaker but just makes the hotel seem a little tired. The location is also a little further out from all the main attractions and a little far to walk - buses or taxis are the best way to and from.

breakfast buffet was ok there are fried and scrambled eggs that are not kept warm. the hotel should fix that problem since there is nothing worst than a cold egg!!!

good location, big comfortable bed and clean modern bathroom . the staff were happy for us to leave our luggage for an hour or so after we checked out . this was very helpful

I just didn’t think Athens would be such a big city. The hotel is located somewhat close to the centre, but you won’t get there by foot. Even to the famous Akropolis it would take around 45 mins walking.

The room was clean and comfortable, with very modern furnishings and a great shower. The breakfast was good, but perhaps not exceptional. The front desk called cabs for us that arrive quickly, and get to the heart of the city for about €10.

The lobby is open to the outside, next to a very loud street, which made it difficult to communicate with the front desk staff. Language difference + noise + heat = stressful communication.
