Marina Alimos Hotel Apartments

We were allowed to check in long before the check-in time which was really kind and appreciated as our overnight flight arrived at 4.30 in the morning! The apartment was very clean and offered all the amenities you needed for a short stay. We stayed 2 nights. Very close to the marina which suited us as we went sailing.

The AC could be a little bit more effective. The street noise is quite loud even though there are double glazed windows. It might be a bit basic for longer stays.

Check in time was frustrating. We were advised when booking via the app that we could check in from 12 as I communicated that we would be arriving early from our flight. We arrived at about 10:30 to drop off our luggage and were advised that the apartment would be ready between 12 and 1. We returned at about 2pm to be told that our apartment was still not ready and would only be ready around 3pm. However when I advised the staff member that I had been told we could check in at 12, he quickly made a plan and got us into one of the available apartments. that was much appreciated after 24 hours of traveling.

The space - the suites (I booked two, on successive weekends, one for a daughter and another for another daughter plus my grand-daughter. Both suites were very spacious, and quiet. The lack of noise. The second suite faced the (very busy) road, but it was the lounge that fronted the road with the kitchen, bathroom and then bedroom (behind it, so the road noise did not affect sleep.) The double bed was HUGEm - both daughters commented on it. Neither used the kitchen (mu house was 3 minutes away) so cannot comment on that.

Not a dislike - just a reminder. This is a set of suites, NOT a full-function hotel. My daughters ate at my place and in the many local cafes/bars/restaurants.

We booked here last minute and we were so happy with our stay that when we returned to Athens a week later we booked here again. The apartment is spacious and clean. It has all the necessary facilities and the kitchen is well equipped. The view from the balcony is of the marina and lovely. It is a long’sih walk to the beach but still fine to walk it. Parking is great and secure. I will stay here again when i return to Athens.

TV was tiny but we didn’t really watch TV so wasn’t an issue.

Location is great for me especially (wanting to be next to the Yacht club) and close to the beaches. There are nice spots for breakfast near by, and a supermarket right next door. Staff were friendly, and room is basically a small apartment which has everything needed. I found it especially clean and tidy, and overall I think its a greay value for money

Old building, old elevator...didnt bother me much however

The hotel was close to the marina, promenade and beach. I ran in the mornings and were then able to walk to the beach and restaurants. I travelled alone and felt safe as there was always someone at reception. The apartment was very spacious with a nice kitchen. The staff are good with observing the Covid regulations and I asked that no one clean my room during my 5 night stay. Staff always wore face masks and I was able to use the staircase which is wide and open. I was not even aware that anyone else stayed in the hotel it was so quiet in the hallways.

The apartment was on the corner of the building with the lounge area facing the very busy main road and the other rooms the side road. The traffic never stopped and I kept waking up. Closing the bedroom door did not help either.

24 hour service and proximity to X86 bus route makes it ideal for overnight pre or post airport stay. Huge apartment with big balcony.

No provision for obtaining provisions or even coffee/tea.

The location was very accessible with own parking place. The hotel is close to good restaurants and a coffee shop. Although it is near a main boulevard, the rooms were quiet.

It is a bit old fashion.

Almost nobody smiles! And this is not just in the hotel but almost everywhere , really disappointed, doesn't really matter how professional you are and how delicious your food when you serve it with a blank face, when you look angry or your guests!

Close to the marina, close to a nice restaurant, parking facility, clean bath/rooms, air conditioning, etc.

Not a con for me, but if you can't stand a decent amount of noise, it's not the place for you. Thumbs up for them for doubling the layers of windows, but because the building is located next to a road that is full (at least during the warm season) even at night, don't expect total silence.
