IKAROS Hotel

This hotel is clean and very well maintained. So, it has exceed my expectations for two star hotel. Breakfast has variety and is not just simple one. Atmosphere and stuff had sounded positive to me. Bathroom was medium size, there was space. There are towels and hairdryer. Room were cleaned regularly.

The beach is five minutes walk or one trum stop. Hotel is near busy street. I have take room with backyard view, which is not open, just between wall. Next time, I would prefer room with balcony.

Nice place with really great staff and parking. A little far away from the center of Athens but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel and the A2 bus makes about 30min to the city center. Tickets available at the Hotel.

Noise street in front of the hotel so at night, close the balcony door and put on the AC and it's all good.

I loved being able to walk to the beach and relax and get some sun. It was a restfful location. Also, the balcony was wonderful. The staff were helpful with directions or helping to order me food delivery. Their breakfast for five euros was more than enough for my breakfast and lunch (but i do not eat that much for breakfast.)

I liked it and good value. Be Mindful that this is not athens citycenter. I knew this when I booked and was very happy. It is a quiet & restful location. It is locals and I think family run, so I like to support this. This is near the beach, no cafes, no resturants but there were nice food stands at street closer to the beach. (It is a bit of the walk to the beach, but I liked the exercise.) I have been using this family run hotel for many years they are nice people and they greet you each time very friendly and the room is alway clean and we arrived a little early but the did not hesitate to get the room ready right away we went out for dinner and didn’t worry about our luggage things were as we left them so I feel this also very secure

Hotel is basic but good value. Staff were very friendly and helpful and recognised you as the customer. All areas clean and tidy. Continental breakfast had plenty of options and staff keen to make sure you had enough. Air conditioning worked well in heat of the day.

Bathroom looked tired but all functioned and was a good size.F

The room was big and clean. The balcony had a wonderful view of the coastline. While the hotel was far from the city center, the staff has bus tickets available for purchase. The breakfast was good as well.

The hotel is next to a highway, so the noise was disturbing at night.

Our family stayed here for 3 days. Nice clean, well decorated family hotel, staff is very polite and helpful speaks many languages. We used bus from Athens Airport as it stops in front of the hotel. Beach was only 10 minutes walk. Good transport links are to Central Athens, center of Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmenis. The breakfast was outstanding! We definitely will stay here next time again! Clean, friendly staff, good location but a little far from stores and restaurants. If you understand how to take the bus then it’s easy and only a few minutes to get to them.

Everything was great. I would have preferred for there to be restaurants and stores within short walking distance but the bus is right out front so overall this is a great place and I’ll go back next time I’m in Glyfada.

Hmm just that I couldn't stay a bit longer

A corner room on top floor is great on many aspects. Bus/tram station is conveniently outside the hotel. The location not far from Glyfada centre and the beach is good.

The noice from the regular traffic on main road is disturbing unless you get used to it.
