Nefeli Hotel

Everything was clean and the rooms were soundproof. The beds were very comfortable as well. Breakfast was great and very well organized. There was a very nice lady who made sure that all was restocked in the breakfast room. The hotel is steps away from the bus station. Conveniently located to everything that you need. Straight down the street, you will arrive at the Harbor. Shopping and tavernas were very close by.

They price was a little on the high side. There wasn't any parking provided, we had to search for a spot to park and finally found one way down the street. A kitchenette would have been nice, or at least a larger fridge, as it really wasn't that cold, and we wanted to freeze some bottles of water for the walk through the Gorge of Samaria.

Nice big bright rooms. Bonus of a mini fridge and a kettle with cups and glasses. Beds were comfy. And the rooms were really clean. Good size balcony to. Location was great. Only 10 min walk to the old town and 5 min walk to a supermarket. Great restaurant right across the street. Defo recommend a visit Felt really safe travelling as a solo female. Would definitely recommend hotel to others. Shocked it's only a 2 star.

The hot food at breakfast was a bit hit or miss but still plenty of choice. Shower cubicle quite small but manageable.

Excellent town centre location and close to Bus Station. The hotel offers a good efficient service to their guests. In our case an early checkin was possible and very much appreciated. The superior rooms on the 6th floor all have a spacious terrace, patio furniture and a mixture of commanding views of the town, sea front or mountains. All staff were very helpful, attentive and provided a level of service which could not be faulted. As said by other guests in earlier reviews, Breakfast buffet was excellent and you are offered both hot and cold choices. Would we stay again: most definitely yes.

The hotel is in an excellent location, 5 mins walking to the old port. The room was big enough and had all the comforts you need when you travel. The staff was friendly and helpful, they also organised a trip for me to the Balos beach which was spectacular. Breakfast was rich and with various options, from toasts, ham and cheese to pastries, fruit yogurt and eggs/ bacon.

The energy stops in the room when you take out the card, which means you cannot charge power banks or other devises while you are away from the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect being it is near the central bus station and the historical centre of the city (10 minutes walk). The rooms are nice and cosy. My room was looking in the back and so it was also quiet and fresh. The rooms are cleaned every day.

The breakfast, while not bad, is not among the best that I have experienced. The wifi is not always working particularly well.

Ideal location in Chania. Near the bus station but only a short walk to the main street and the harbour area. We had a room on the 6th floor. The balcony was amazing. Huge with chairs and parasol. Beautiful views of the city with the mountains in the background.

Room was a little dated. The bathroom was very very small with no ventilation or window also a temperamental door lock on the bathroom door! Breakfast was very fresh but basic.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Nefeli hotel. The ubication is exceptional: is super near the city center in a walkable distance, and is literally at 2 minutes from the bus station, super useful if you are planning to stay in Chania without a car, as our case. The room was perfect and had a super big balcony with a fantastic view that we really enjoyed during our stay. The breakfast was really good, with regular coffee (not espresso) but delicious food, including local specialties. We highly recommend Nefeli hotel for your vacations!!!!

Very good hotel, close to the bus station, 10-min walk from the Venetian harbour. The quiet surrounding allowed a good sleep. Clean and spacious room, towels were changed every day. High quality toilet products (soap, shower gel and shampoo). Very good breakfast, with some local sweet and savory products.

An electric tea and coffee maker (electric kettle) would have been useful.

Friendly, helpful staff. Always willing to help. Overall a good experience, good breakfast with variety! Central location, very close to the port and all the tavernas, restaurants within walking distance of 5-10 minute walk. Affordable and convenient! Has air conditioning inside the room which is great for the hot weather.

2 single beds instead of a double one but that is a minor issue since we connected the two. Toilet leaked water but all staff very helpful and we were provided with extra towels.

Room was nice, spacious and clean. Lots of places to store things and hang clothes. Location was perfect for us: walking distance to the Old City but quiet so you could escape the chaos of tourists. We had the added bonus of receiving a room with a mountain view.

Only downside was there's no privacy on the patio and the person beside us was talking on the patio, on her phone, during our whole stay. Was a bit of a disturbance and we weren't fully able to enjoy the outdoor patio.
